Hello and welcome to
The One Show with Amol Rajan. | 0:00:17 | 0:00:19
And Alex Jones. | 0:00:19 | 0:00:26
On the day when interest rates
have gone up interest | 0:00:26 | 0:00:29
in our guest is riding | 0:00:29 | 0:00:30
high. | 0:00:30 | 0:00:31 | |
He's the latest
star to be celebrated | 0:00:31 | 0:00:32
in a BBC special - and here's why. | 0:00:32 | 0:00:34
# Money on my mind...
# I'm going to love you like I can, | 0:00:36 | 0:00:44
can, can. | 0:00:44 | 0:00:46
# I know I'm not the only one... | 0:00:52 | 0:00:58
# Oh, won't you stay with me,
because you're all I need... | 0:01:01 | 0:01:06
Let's say hello to Sam Smith! | 0:01:07 | 0:01:17
Are you well? Really good. We are
thrilled to have you with us. It is | 0:01:22 | 0:01:28
weird seeing those clips. I bet you
have seen them a million times. I | 0:01:28 | 0:01:32
haven't watched them in a while.
Which is the weirdest? Which do you | 0:01:32 | 0:01:36
look at and think, oh! Like I can.
Because I was very big. Because you | 0:01:36 | 0:01:42
lost a lot of weight. I was eating a
lot of cheese back then. It is a | 0:01:42 | 0:01:47
funny thing you should mention you
have seen them plenty of times. The | 0:01:47 | 0:01:52
best researchers on The One Show
have uncovered something we think | 0:01:52 | 0:01:55
you probably haven't seen before.
This is not on YouTube. In fact, we | 0:01:55 | 0:01:59
don't think it's ever been seen
before. This is a 13-year-old Sam | 0:01:59 | 0:02:06
Smith with the Saffron Walden
players and it is you on the far | 0:02:06 | 0:02:09
right. You are delightful. | 0:02:09 | 0:02:14
No! | 0:02:16 | 0:02:19 | |
# It's useful to be...
# We all go together | 0:02:24 | 0:02:33
# It goes to show what people can
do... | 0:02:33 | 0:02:37 | |
APPLAUSE | 0:02:38 | 0:02:39
There is nothing worse than a video
from your childhood. I will hunt | 0:02:42 | 0:02:47
them down! It is amazing. I hadn't
gone through puberty, I don't think. | 0:02:47 | 0:02:53
Do you remember doing that
performance? I don't. I used to do | 0:02:53 | 0:02:58
pantomimes and like all the school
shows as a kid. That is really weird | 0:02:58 | 0:03:03
to watch. We will talk all about
your BBC special later. We will all | 0:03:03 | 0:03:09
be treated to a live acoustic
performances of Two Goodbyes at tend | 0:03:09 | 0:03:15
of the show. We are excited. Back in
April we brought you the story of a | 0:03:15 | 0:03:21
group of Indian soldiers who ran
aground in Aberdeen when the | 0:03:21 | 0:03:24
shipping company they worked for
went into liquidation. They feared | 0:03:24 | 0:03:27
they would only get paid if they
stayed on board until it was sold. | 0:03:27 | 0:03:32
We sent Joe to see if they finally
managed to find a buyer. | 0:03:32 | 0:03:37
It has been a sit-in, like no other.
Some of these guys have been on here | 0:03:37 | 0:03:42
for a yearnd not paid. No money. It
is a difficult situation. The crew | 0:03:42 | 0:03:52
of the of the ship are refusing to
leave. I cannot imagine how hard it | 0:03:52 | 0:03:57
is to hear your wife crying on the
phone thousands of miles away and | 0:03:57 | 0:04:01
not being able to do anything about
it. We are very sad. Over a | 0:04:01 | 0:04:07
year-and-a-half later they have now
been thrown a lifeline. They found | 0:04:07 | 0:04:11
out the ship can final I will be
sold and if a buyer is found, they | 0:04:11 | 0:04:15
are first in line for payment. | 0:04:15 | 0:04:20
Everything comes down to the auction
in this room today. The crew took a | 0:04:22 | 0:04:27
gamble - they had to stay in
Scotland to stand a chance to get | 0:04:27 | 0:04:32
any of the money they were owed.
Half the crew is staying until the | 0:04:32 | 0:04:37
ship is sold. For some the news the
ship can be sold is good enough for | 0:04:37 | 0:04:41
them and they leave before the
auction. | 0:04:41 | 0:04:43
I am very excited to go home. It is
the time which we have been waiting | 0:04:43 | 0:04:48
and finally the time has arrived.
All the hard work has come to a | 0:04:48 | 0:04:52
succeed now.
I'll miss them. They have become | 0:04:52 | 0:05:02
very friendly with my mum as well. A
lot of guys are going back home at | 0:05:02 | 0:05:05
the moment.
They have no money - so we hope it | 0:05:05 | 0:05:10
is a good solution to the end.
To give me an idea of what the ship | 0:05:10 | 0:05:15
can raise at auction, I have come to
meet broker Paul Love for his | 0:05:15 | 0:05:20
valuation. How much is a ship like
this worth? $650,000 my guess. Worse | 0:05:20 | 0:05:28
case scenario that is £400,000,
delivered to a yard in Turkey. You | 0:05:28 | 0:05:33
have the costs of transporting the
vessel, paying the crew, eninsuring | 0:05:33 | 0:05:39
the ship to Turkey. Is there any
room with the emotional side? My | 0:05:39 | 0:05:44
hope gut is that ship owners love
the business. I think they will want | 0:05:44 | 0:05:52
to see a good result for the crew.
Back at the auction crew members | 0:05:52 | 0:05:56
nervously await their fate. How are
you feeling? Today is the big day? | 0:05:56 | 0:06:00
Very excited. Hopefully no troubles.
What do you need toover your costs? | 0:06:00 | 0:06:07
-- need to cover your costs
£670,000. Is there much interest it | 0:06:07 | 0:06:12
will happen? I think so. We have had
a lot of buyers coming in. Is there | 0:06:12 | 0:06:19
a reserve? No, there's a value. What
is that? Not disclosed. The vessel's | 0:06:19 | 0:06:28
story has been reported worldwide.
Does someone in the room see a | 0:06:28 | 0:06:32
future for this ship. Anybody want
to make me a bid for? It is very | 0:06:32 | 0:06:42
worrying. Everyone here just
watching? Thank you very much. | 0:06:42 | 0:06:48
£300,000. Any advance on £300,000?
We are anxious to sell the vessel. | 0:06:48 | 0:06:54
We are not going to give it away.
That is not enough to pay the crew. | 0:06:54 | 0:07:07
£ £300,000 once. Anyone want to come
into the bidding. £300,000 twice. | 0:07:07 | 0:07:13
Third and final time... OK, I am
withdraw ing sale. | 0:07:13 | 0:07:29
The crew have just left. They are
very upset. It has been withdrawn | 0:07:29 | 0:07:33
from sale, the only bid was
£300,000. Things are looking pretty | 0:07:33 | 0:07:38
gloomy for the guys at the moment.
You all seem quite emotional. How | 0:07:38 | 0:07:42
are you feeling now? It was
embarrassing for me. We were shocked | 0:07:42 | 0:07:50
over there and we tried to
understand what was happening. We | 0:07:50 | 0:07:53
know people are interested. For some
reason they were not bidding. One | 0:07:53 | 0:07:56
bidder came up with £300,000. That's
well short to pay the crew's wages. | 0:07:56 | 0:08:04
Far too less for anybody.
That's not even the fair value of | 0:08:04 | 0:08:07
the ship. I guess they were hoping
to hear some news back home today. I | 0:08:07 | 0:08:13
am sure everyone will be excited,
but it's not the best of news I can | 0:08:13 | 0:08:17
give to anybody. How do I give it to
them? I don't know. Today they | 0:08:17 | 0:08:22
believed this ship was going to sell
at auction. It didn't. Now they will | 0:08:22 | 0:08:25
try and sell it privately. With a
number of interested parties calling | 0:08:25 | 0:08:30
with bidding already, they remain
hopeful for a future sale. | 0:08:30 | 0:08:33
Hope may not be lost. Joe is here
with an update. What is the latest? | 0:08:35 | 0:08:40
The latest is it hasn't sold. The
bidder in the film is still involved | 0:08:40 | 0:08:44
in the process. I think that bidder
was quite surprised to be the only | 0:08:44 | 0:08:48
bidder on the day. A number of
parties had been shown around the | 0:08:48 | 0:08:53
vessel. He expected to be bidding
against others the, that did not | 0:08:53 | 0:08:56
happen. The auctioneer is
optimistic. The union expect | 0:08:56 | 0:09:00
something in a week or two. The big
news is that the crew are now going | 0:09:00 | 0:09:05
to return to India. It looked like
they would stay for the ship to be | 0:09:05 | 0:09:09
sold. They have realised they have
done all they can. They were staying | 0:09:09 | 0:09:13
behind to keep it ship-shape for
perspective buyers. At this point | 0:09:13 | 0:09:17
they have been away from their
families over a year. | 0:09:17 | 0:09:22
An amazing response from the local
community The union, the religious | 0:09:22 | 0:09:29
groups, taken out on excursions, and
recently had a Diwali celebration on | 0:09:29 | 0:09:35
board. It is great to keep these
guys spirits up. The hardest thing | 0:09:35 | 0:09:40
is not knowing how long it will go
on for and when it would end. It is | 0:09:40 | 0:09:45
as the meant to the local community
they kept these guys going and gave | 0:09:45 | 0:09:50
them the opportunity to stay until
this point. It is good they have now | 0:09:50 | 0:09:53
gone home. I heard it could be this
weekend they will book flights. | 0:09:53 | 0:09:58
Certainly in the remaining week the
crew will be going home. Thank you. | 0:09:58 | 0:10:01
An amazing story. Every once in a
while the BBC invites a megastar to | 0:10:01 | 0:10:08
perform a one huff off special. We
have seen Adele and Michael Buble. | 0:10:08 | 0:10:12
Next week itted is Sam's turn. | 0:10:12 | 0:10:16
# I'm suffocating
# I found love | 0:10:20 | 0:10:25
# Tell me is this where I give my
life for you | 0:10:25 | 0:10:35
# I have to risk it all
# Because the writing's on the wall. | 0:10:35 | 0:10:43
APPLAUSE | 0:10:45 | 0:10:47
Yes! What an amazing sound.
Music-wise what can we expect from | 0:10:50 | 0:10:56
that show? I'm doing some new ones,
which I am so excited about. There | 0:10:56 | 0:11:01
are quite a few new ones. A lot of
this album coming out tomorrow is | 0:11:01 | 0:11:06
about, it has been produced in a way
that there's so much more to it. | 0:11:06 | 0:11:10
There's more gospel choirs. There's
more brass. More string | 0:11:10 | 0:11:14
arrangements. I got to make that all
come true on this special. I had the | 0:11:14 | 0:11:19
choir and everything. The feeling
was electric for me on stage. I felt | 0:11:19 | 0:11:23
comfortable. I had my family there.
It felt like a homely gig, if you | 0:11:23 | 0:11:28
know what I mean. I wanted to feel
connected to people. And Fern Cotton | 0:11:28 | 0:11:36
interviewing which, you will be
fantastic. There are hidden stunts | 0:11:36 | 0:11:41
going on and surprising fans. . Here
are two unsuspected fans when Sam | 0:11:41 | 0:11:47
rocked up back stage in a pair of
killer heels. I want to wear the | 0:11:47 | 0:11:53
heels for the show. I don't
understand the problem. They are not | 0:11:53 | 0:11:56
even that high, babe! I'm going to
wear them. Do you like my shoes? We | 0:11:56 | 0:12:04
love them. Hi. | 0:12:04 | 0:12:07
Fabulous! Fabulous! I mean,
literally, you are pretty good at | 0:12:08 | 0:12:14
walking in heels. I am really good
walking in heels. That was not your | 0:12:14 | 0:12:19
first time I have got lots. I have
got five or six - I have got a | 0:12:19 | 0:12:25
wardrobe in different places. It
must be so nice, speaking from | 0:12:25 | 0:12:29
experience as a pop star, it must be
cool seeing that reaction from fans | 0:12:29 | 0:12:34
and being able to react with them
rather than singing to them at a | 0:12:34 | 0:12:39
distance It was fun. As you will see
in a week or so, there are a few, I | 0:12:39 | 0:12:44
am meant to be mean to them and act
like a diva. And I felt so bad. I | 0:12:44 | 0:12:50
was like screaming and spitting out
my tea. It was awful! It's funny to | 0:12:50 | 0:12:55
watch and, yeah, it was fun to like
have fun with them. And after the | 0:12:55 | 0:13:00
last album, well, you have been
away. We were bereft, Sam Smith! You | 0:13:00 | 0:13:06
left us for a year. What have you
been up to? I had the most | 0:13:06 | 0:13:11
beautifully boring time. I was here
in London. For me it was a chance... | 0:13:11 | 0:13:17
Life was all about me all the time -
my shows, my music. It was important | 0:13:17 | 0:13:23
for me to be there for my mum, dad,
sisters and my best friends and be | 0:13:23 | 0:13:28
there for their issues. I went to my
sister's graduation. You need to | 0:13:28 | 0:13:34
connect with stuff that matters. I
wrote the whole album in that time. | 0:13:34 | 0:13:38
I heard you wrote about 100 songs.
There must have been a lot which | 0:13:38 | 0:13:42
didn't make the cut. Which was the
worst lyric you had to abandon | 0:13:42 | 0:13:46
because it was not good enough. Oh,
don't! We were talking about Des Ray | 0:13:46 | 0:13:51
earlier on. I am not scared of a
goos I would rather have a piece of | 0:13:51 | 0:13:59
toast! Nothing on that level!
I wrote over 130 songs. A good chunk | 0:13:59 | 0:14:06
were so depressing I was depressing
myself! Both albums, I mean the last | 0:14:06 | 0:14:10
one and this new one, they are
incredibly personal, aren't they? | 0:14:10 | 0:14:15
And does any part of you regret, I
suppose, laying your soul so bare? | 0:14:15 | 0:14:20
No. Absolutely not. You know, I...
That's part of my therapy. It is | 0:14:20 | 0:14:28
intense, but do you know what, my
music is my dark, deep, vulnerable | 0:14:28 | 0:14:34
moments of my life. I save the
parties for everyone else and the | 0:14:34 | 0:14:38
rest of the time, it is important
people know that. It is important | 0:14:38 | 0:14:41
that people... People think I am sad
and miserable. Having seen so much | 0:14:41 | 0:14:46
of you and not met you before you
come across as somebody who thinks | 0:14:46 | 0:14:51
hard about who he is and what he's
doing. I am trying to be the best | 0:14:51 | 0:14:57
version of myself. You said about
the first album it was like a G and | 0:14:57 | 0:15:02
T, this is like a whisky. What is
the next one going to be - a | 0:15:02 | 0:15:08
Jagerbomb? Pina Colada. | 0:15:08 | 0:15:13
Sam's new album The Thrill Of It All
is out tomorrow and Sam Smith on the | 0:15:16 | 0:15:20
BBC will be on BBC One next Thursday
at 8pm. We are looking forward to | 0:15:20 | 0:15:25
that. | 0:15:25 | 0:15:25 | |
In a teak Team Rickshaw start their
epic ride to the Clyde challenge to | 0:15:29 | 0:15:35
reach Glasgow on 17th November. On
board is Liv, whose father died last | 0:15:35 | 0:15:41
year. Here is her story. I'm Liv and
I live with my mum and my brother. I | 0:15:41 | 0:15:49
started dancing when I was about six
years old. A lot of spins, wearing | 0:15:49 | 0:15:57
colourful costumes. Dad used to take
me. It was something he was | 0:15:57 | 0:16:01
passionate about. I think he was
proud of. My grandparents moved over | 0:16:01 | 0:16:08
here, so my dad was born in England.
But he was brought up learning the | 0:16:08 | 0:16:14
Ukrainian culture. He was the
instigator of nurturing the musical | 0:16:14 | 0:16:19
side of Liv. He loved music. It was
the soul of what he was. He was very | 0:16:19 | 0:16:30
popular, friendly, lively, he was so
easy going and laid back. He was my | 0:16:30 | 0:16:36
father, but he felt like my best
friend. He was really special. It | 0:16:36 | 0:16:44
was October 2015 that my father got
diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. At | 0:16:44 | 0:16:51
the moment I didn't realise how much
that was going to change our lives. | 0:16:51 | 0:16:56
They gave us 46 months. He wanted to
someday at home. He -- stay at home. | 0:16:56 | 0:17:01
He did struggle. It was intense for
the children. It was difficult for | 0:17:01 | 0:17:05
them to have a normal life. I didn't
want to speak to anybody. I didn't | 0:17:05 | 0:17:09
tell anybody about it. Because I
didn't want it to be a thing, I | 0:17:09 | 0:17:13
didn't want it to be real. He passed
away on 7th June 2016. Liv and Alex | 0:17:13 | 0:17:24
and his mum and I were with him at
that time. I remember feeling | 0:17:24 | 0:17:32
completely just like... Well, I
don't know what to do with myself | 0:17:32 | 0:17:36
now. I felt really empty and numb.
She became withdrawn and found it | 0:17:36 | 0:17:46
difficult to relate to every day
life. A friend mentioned going to | 0:17:46 | 0:17:52
counselling. She knew a counsellor
at a hospice and we thought we would | 0:17:52 | 0:18:00
try it. The children's and young
people's counsellor. My role is to | 0:18:00 | 0:18:08
support children and young people
who have had a bereavement or have | 0:18:08 | 0:18:12
got a relative or parent with a
life-limiting condition. I remember | 0:18:12 | 0:18:17
instantly clicking with her. I feel
like speaking to her is really | 0:18:17 | 0:18:24
helped me grow in confidence and
accept what's happened in my life. | 0:18:24 | 0:18:28
We help provide young people with
the space to work through their | 0:18:28 | 0:18:34
issues, their thoughts, their
feelings, a space for them to try | 0:18:34 | 0:18:40
and make sense of the death of
somebody. Without Children in Need | 0:18:40 | 0:18:47
we wouldn't be able to support young
people like Liv. When I heard that I | 0:18:47 | 0:18:53
was doing the rickshaw challenge, I
was just... Blown away. I mean I've | 0:18:53 | 0:19:00
never enjoyed doing exercise, apart
from my Ukrainian dancing. It has | 0:19:00 | 0:19:04
opened a new door to me. She is
cycling each day and getting further | 0:19:04 | 0:19:11
each day. Every time I get home my
legs are like jelly, but it is worth | 0:19:11 | 0:19:17
it. I'm determined to do as best as
I can to the best of my ability and | 0:19:17 | 0:19:22
I'm very excited to do it. My dad, I

Nicely done. That was classy stuff.

could tell. | 0:20:17 | 0:20:20

And you can sign up for our virtual
rickshaw on the web-site. Giles has | 0:20:43 | 0:20:55
been asking people what they would
miss most about their time on earth. | 0:20:55 | 0:20:59
Tonight he is speaking to Joanna
Lumley and this really is Giles with | 0:20:59 | 0:21:07
wings! Welcome to heaven. Or at
least a version of it we're all | 0:21:07 | 0:21:13
familiar with. If it even exists
that is. If it does, have you ever | 0:21:13 | 0:21:18
wonder what had you will do when you
get here? Who would you like to meet | 0:21:18 | 0:21:22
in heaven and what would you miss
most about earth? Today, I'm going | 0:21:22 | 0:21:28
to meet my idea of a heavenly star
to find out what her idea of heaven | 0:21:28 | 0:21:33
is. And there she is. Look, is it a
man, is it a bird? Is it an angel. | 0:21:33 | 0:21:42
It is Joanna Lumley. I had better
meet her. Giles, oh. This is your | 0:21:42 | 0:21:50
idea of heaven on earth. The London
wetlands centre and I adore it. Take | 0:21:50 | 0:21:59
me round and show me your idea of
heaven. Look, isn't this wonderful, | 0:21:59 | 0:22:11
ponds and rushes and lakes and
birds. I adore it here. I want to | 0:22:11 | 0:22:17
take you on the Stairway To Heaven
and when we get there, who do you | 0:22:17 | 0:22:21
want to have meeting you at the
pearly gates? Just standing there, | 0:22:21 | 0:22:28
William Shakespeare. One of the
greatest heart throbs of all time. | 0:22:28 | 0:22:32
As soon as I see him, I will have to
kneel down and kiss his trousers and | 0:22:32 | 0:22:39
ask him everything. That would be a
long greeting. There will be music | 0:22:39 | 0:22:44
playing. What would you have? Well,
just for this moment, I'm going to | 0:22:44 | 0:22:51
ask if it could be Elvis singing One
Night With You. He might mean it | 0:22:51 | 0:22:59
when we're in heaven. # One night
with you! Do you have a spiritual | 0:22:59 | 0:23:10
side, do you believe in heaven?
Well, I believe in everything. I | 0:23:10 | 0:23:15
don't know why. I think all
religions have something in them. If | 0:23:15 | 0:23:19
you scrape it away, I maybe a pagan.
I believe everything is to be | 0:23:19 | 0:23:23
respected. From the smallest microbe
up to the biggest thing. So what | 0:23:23 | 0:23:29
that is why you're a veggie? Yes.
Are there things you would be glad | 0:23:29 | 0:23:34
to leave behind? I can't bear old
sores kept alive and hatred and | 0:23:34 | 0:23:40
cruelty. So I shan't be sad to leave
that. But I'm coming back even as a | 0:23:40 | 0:23:45
ghost and try to make it better.
Have you had a happy life? When you | 0:23:45 | 0:23:49
have sad things happen to you, and
they happen to us all, you push them | 0:23:49 | 0:23:55
away. So I have edited my life
already to be just gorgeous, shining | 0:23:55 | 0:24:00
all the way through. When you were
on earth, who is the most remarkable | 0:24:00 | 0:24:05
person you encountered? I was
dazzled by meeting the Dalai Lama. | 0:24:05 | 0:24:18
This something spiritual and kind.
What is the greatest lesson yov | 0:24:18 | 0:24:22
learned? It has takening me a long
time and it is hard to do, but it is | 0:24:22 | 0:24:26
live in the moment. Don't be afraid
of tomorrow. Don't be regretful | 0:24:26 | 0:24:31
about yesterday. Live now. You get
to meet your maker, what would you | 0:24:31 | 0:24:35
say to it? Thank you. It is time for
one more climb up Joanna's Stairway | 0:24:35 | 0:24:45
To Heaven for some final
revelations. You're leaving this | 0:24:45 | 0:24:48
world, what will you miss, what
food? Corn on the cob. The drink? A | 0:24:48 | 0:24:57
James Bond dry Martini. The smell?
Lily of the valley. If you came back | 0:24:57 | 0:25:05
as another creature... Here they
come. I would come as a goose | 0:25:05 | 0:25:11
landing on the pond in the wetlands.
I would love to be a bird. The idea | 0:25:11 | 0:25:15
of flying would be fantastic. The
good news is though you can come | 0:25:15 | 0:25:19
back as a goose, it won't be for a
while, because it was just a game. | 0:25:19 | 0:25:23
You're not going yet. It is over.
You have been on the Stairway To | 0:25:23 | 0:25:27
Heaven. Thank you. Thank you for
joining my on the Stairway To | 0:25:27 | 0:25:30
Heaven. See you soon. Now back to
earth. They're quite insightful. I | 0:25:30 | 0:25:41
love Joanna. If you had another life
what would you come back as? A seal. | 0:25:41 | 0:25:52
I'm obsessed with seals. I know it
is weird. They're so lazy and live | 0:25:52 | 0:25:57
such a great life and lay on their
backs and sunbathe. Last song you | 0:25:57 | 0:26:02
would like to listen to on earth?
Both sides now, Joni Mitchell. Good | 0:26:02 | 0:26:11
choice. The new album The Tri-is out
soon. And we have Bryan Adams next | 0:26:11 | 0:26:28
time. And now Sam Smith with too Too
Good At Goodbyes. | 0:26:28 | 0:26:36
# You must think that I'm stupid | 0:26:44 | 0:26:51
# You must think that I'm a fool | 0:26:51 | 0:26:56
# You must think
that I'm new to this | 0:26:56 | 0:26:59
# But I have seen this all before
that I'm new to this | 0:26:59 | 0:27:04
# I'm never gonna
let you close to me | 0:27:04 | 0:27:07
# Even though you mean
the most to me | 0:27:07 | 0:27:10
# 'Cause every time
I open up, it hurts | 0:27:10 | 0:27:15

get too close to you | 0:27:15 | 0:27:18
# Even when I mean the most
to you | 0:27:18 | 0:27:22 | |
# In case you go
and leave me in the dirt | 0:27:22 | 0:27:26
# But every time you hurt me,
the less that I cry | 0:27:26 | 0:27:31
# And every time you leave me,
the quicker these tears dry | 0:27:31 | 0:27:36
# And every time you walk out,
the less I love you | 0:27:36 | 0:27:41
# Baby, we don't stand a chance,
it's sad but it's true | 0:27:41 | 0:27:45
# I'm way too good at goodbyes
it's sad but it's true | 0:27:45 | 0:27:50
# (I'm way too good at goodbyes) | 0:27:50 | 0:28:00
# I know you're
thinkin' I'm heartless | 0:28:01 | 0:28:04
# I know you're thinkin' I'm cold
thinkin' I'm heartless | 0:28:04 | 0:28:09
# I'm just protectin' my innocence | 0:28:09 | 0:28:14
# I'm just protectin' my soul | 0:28:14 | 0:28:19
# I'm never gonna
let you close to me | 0:28:19 | 0:28:22
# Even though you mean
the most to me | 0:28:22 | 0:28:25
# 'Cause every time
I open up, it hurts | 0:28:25 | 0:28:35
# But every time you hurt me,
the less that I cry | 0:28:36 | 0:28:39
# And every time you leave me,
the quicker these tears dry | 0:28:39 | 0:28:42
# And every time you walk out,
the less I love you | 0:28:42 | 0:28:45
# Baby, we don't stand a chance,
it's sad but it's true | 0:28:45 | 0:28:49
# I'm way too good at goodbyes
it's sad but it's true | 0:28:49 | 0:28:55
# (I'm way too good at goodbyes) | 0:28:55 | 0:29:05
# No way that you'll see me cry | 0:29:06 | 0:29:09
# I'm way too good at goodbyes | 0:29:09 | 0:29:14
CHEERING AND APPLAUSE. | 0:29:18 | 0:29:21 |
