Hello and welcome to The One Show with Matt Baker. | :00:00. | :00:17.
We're going back to school with Hollywood star Orlando Bloom | :00:18. | :00:24.
all 17 teams just outside, on tenterhooks, waiting to find out | :00:25. | :00:39.
who they'll be playing as we host the FA Cup fifth | :00:40. | :00:42.
If they had night for football fans. -- it's a big night. | :00:43. | :00:50.
And this year's potential giant killers are Sutton United | :00:51. | :00:52.
that two non-league clubs have made it this far. | :00:53. | :00:57.
Later, Jake Humphrey will be helping England manager Gareth Southgate | :00:58. | :00:59.
First, let's meet someone who talks a good game... | :01:00. | :01:03.
..Even if it's just complete gibberish. | :01:04. | :01:08.
I've heard the governor is going to go up front. Or he's going to drill | :01:09. | :01:19.
bit on the carpet. Yes all the "Man could do a pass across the nut off | :01:20. | :01:26.
the sock, am I right? You're right, you've got three points written | :01:27. | :01:27.
blind. I couldn't make head nor tail of all | :01:28. | :01:38.
that football terminology. You can tell we got a football crowd into | :01:39. | :01:43.
night. You forgot about that? Happy memories? We used to call that other | :01:44. | :01:47.
actor whose real name I've forgotten, lightning Dave because it | :01:48. | :01:52.
was always about 15 takes. LAUGHTER You are a real football fan. | :01:53. | :01:59.
Massive. Long-time suffering. It ain't getting any easier at the | :02:00. | :02:00.
moment. You think the shape of football | :02:01. | :02:09.
could have been very different if they had won? It was a replay, they | :02:10. | :02:13.
don't have that any more. We lost to Man United, the second one. We were | :02:14. | :02:18.
bullied by Bryan Robson as was the referee. Ian White was recovering | :02:19. | :02:22.
from a broken leg, only could play 15 minutes in each game and he could | :02:23. | :02:27.
have turned it for us. Close now. You're close and very passionate, I | :02:28. | :02:31.
can tell. You've probably seen our fans outside, they are hoping their | :02:32. | :02:36.
team will get their hands on this very special piece of silverware. | :02:37. | :02:41.
But the inhabitants of one Scottish village have got their eyes | :02:42. | :02:43.
And it could make them a lot of money. | :02:44. | :02:47.
A lot of people who live here leave the village. There's nothing here. A | :02:48. | :02:58.
season of work and nothing else. Like many rural communities across | :02:59. | :03:03.
Britain, life here in this Scottish village isn't without its | :03:04. | :03:04.
challenges. But hopes for a brighter future | :03:05. | :03:11.
might lie in a rather unexpected place. Locals, here are convinced | :03:12. | :03:22.
that there is gold in them hills. To find out why, I'm travelling 60 | :03:23. | :03:26.
miles north of Glasgow to Michu Richard Gray, CEO of mining company | :03:27. | :03:33.
Scott Gold -- to meet. They are opening Scotland's first commercial | :03:34. | :03:35.
gold mine. What's the reaction you get from people when they find out | :03:36. | :03:42.
you are mining for gold in the Scottish hillside? Initially, a lot | :03:43. | :03:48.
of disbelief. This runs from the edge. This happened about 407 | :03:49. | :03:54.
million years ago. Inside is the black speckles. They are the | :03:55. | :03:59.
sulphites. Wherever there is more sulphide, there is more gold. It is | :04:00. | :04:05.
a particularly rich area. How far does it go? We are going up to the | :04:06. | :04:09.
surface, which is about 160 metres but this could go hundreds of meters | :04:10. | :04:13.
down. We haven't explored yet but there is a lot more than I was. Can | :04:14. | :04:16.
you estimate how much gold eventually could be here? We have | :04:17. | :04:23.
estimated it to about 200,000 ounces and at ?100,000 perhaps that is ?200 | :04:24. | :04:27.
million of gold. This exploratory tunnel was dug out in 1989 and since | :04:28. | :04:32.
then has passed through several owners who have yet to make it pay. | :04:33. | :04:37.
One previous owner even left what looks like an innocuous pile of | :04:38. | :04:41.
rocks blasted out of the hillside. Somewhere in this pile of, excuse | :04:42. | :04:46.
me, rock dust, am I allowed to say that... There is gold? There is | :04:47. | :04:53.
definitely gold, 800 grams of gold. We have taken the rock with the gold | :04:54. | :04:56.
it, we are crushing it and we would get out the gold and demonstrate | :04:57. | :05:00.
that there is gold in this mine and more to be extracted and the project | :05:01. | :05:07.
can really work. In the past, falling gold prices were blamed for | :05:08. | :05:10.
the failure to make a profit but with the value of now far stronger, | :05:11. | :05:15.
it is hoped that this time it will be more successful. To prove the | :05:16. | :05:21.
project is viable, the team are trying some small-scale production. | :05:22. | :05:24.
How much gold is in that pot? Probably about five about five | :05:25. | :05:26.
ounces, ?5,000 worth. There you are, there's your goal. | :05:27. | :05:37.
Once it cools down, I finally get my hands on the precious material in | :05:38. | :05:43.
its rawest unpolished form. Wow. Genuine Scottish gold. Genuine | :05:44. | :05:48.
Scottish gold. Is it going to make you rich? It's going to make us all | :05:49. | :05:53.
very rich, we hope. LAUGHTER The company has already attracted | :05:54. | :05:57.
some investors including Dorset -based builder Graham Donaldson. Had | :05:58. | :06:03.
you been a gold hunter before? I have invested in a few gold mines | :06:04. | :06:07.
but never one you could actually see or touch or visit. And last | :06:08. | :06:12.
November, Graham got his hands on the first commercially produced | :06:13. | :06:15.
piece of Scottish gold from the mine when ten golden rounds with the | :06:16. | :06:20.
value of around ?1000 each will put up for auction to raise money for | :06:21. | :06:25.
the project. Will you share what you spend on this? ?21,000. For ?1000 | :06:26. | :06:34.
worth of gold. As an investor it is important but it is important for | :06:35. | :06:37.
the community. Some of the local community have got caught up in this | :06:38. | :06:40.
modern-day gold rush and are investing in the new venture. How is | :06:41. | :06:45.
it to say I am a shareholder in a gold it's quite exciting. It's not | :06:46. | :06:50.
just been the shareholder that the community will do well. I work here. | :06:51. | :06:54.
It will be brilliant. What sort of impact will it have on the village? | :06:55. | :07:00.
It is a very small rural communities. It tends not to have a | :07:01. | :07:04.
very exciting life. And not long-term employment. We bought | :07:05. | :07:10.
shares. My husband works there, so we wanted to invest in the company. | :07:11. | :07:12.
We want to have something perhaps for the children for when they are | :07:13. | :07:18.
older. It would be great to have the home of Scottish gold, which is a | :07:19. | :07:21.
really, really interesting. Everyone here's hoping that these first | :07:22. | :07:25.
explorer tree steps will lead to a fully operational mine that can | :07:26. | :07:30.
attract new skilled labour and create tens of jobs. For this remote | :07:31. | :07:34.
Scottish village, that would mean a very welcome era of prosperity. That | :07:35. | :07:40.
would be quite something, to wear that of Scottish gold. I like that. | :07:41. | :07:45.
A lot more gold fillings around in Scotland now. I think you must be | :07:46. | :07:51.
one of the luckiest actors. You started your career | :07:52. | :07:54.
in The Bounty, filmed in Tahiti. You've been to the Caribbean | :07:55. | :07:56.
for Death in Paradise and now you're now starring | :07:57. | :07:58.
in The Good Karma Hospital, I think you just like going abroad. | :07:59. | :08:08.
The difference between doing their bounty, I was 21 years old and now | :08:09. | :08:12.
the Sri Lanka gig, I am 54 years old. -- The Bounty. Bear in mind, I | :08:13. | :08:19.
did two years in Waterloo Road in Rochdale! OK! That is the wrong side | :08:20. | :08:27.
of the Pennines, it is not called rainbow flag crackers. You get more | :08:28. | :08:31.
wet your trouser legs because it is bouncing the pavement so hard. Sri | :08:32. | :08:37.
Lankan, great opportunity and a beautiful place. This is the | :08:38. | :08:42.
brand-new drama on ITV on Sunday night. Set it up for us. It is | :08:43. | :08:49.
called good, Hospital. A story of a young girl whose life is falling | :08:50. | :08:54.
apart in Nottingham -- good karma hospital. In the midst of her | :08:55. | :08:57.
exasperation, she goes to the toilet in her hospital and the straw that | :08:58. | :09:03.
broke the camel 's back is that there is no toilet paper. She rips | :09:04. | :09:07.
the sheet of a magazine and there is an advert for a hospital, would you | :09:08. | :09:11.
like to work in this hospital in India. It's a hard cost to her. A | :09:12. | :09:19.
girl travelling to The Good Karma Hospital to work in southern India. | :09:20. | :09:23.
The head of the hospital is Amanda Redman's character who runs it with | :09:24. | :09:31.
a rod of iron. You are not a doctor even though it is in a hospital. I | :09:32. | :09:37.
am a real doctor I have an honorary degree! I play against type. I play | :09:38. | :09:45.
a beach bar owner. Who very rarely wears decent clothes and wears a | :09:46. | :09:49.
beach bar. It is like the bar owner philosophy, that all the characters | :09:50. | :09:53.
eventually come through Greg McConnell's bar. We have a nice | :09:54. | :09:54.
little clip. I am a doctor, I run a hospital, how | :09:55. | :10:08.
can I advertise a bar? Especially one owned by a petty criminal. I | :10:09. | :10:13.
resent that slander and demanded a retraction. You have used my face | :10:14. | :10:15.
without permission, that slander. I'm sorry, he said he looked like | :10:16. | :10:26.
you had jowls and I ignored him. It has that comfy Sunday night feel. | :10:27. | :10:30.
It's got all the elements. It has the romance, the hospital staff. It | :10:31. | :10:39.
is a bit gory occasionally. And it has the beauty of the place we are | :10:40. | :10:46.
in. It's stunning. That is the type of thing you want to watch in | :10:47. | :10:50.
winter. Talking about your character comments does reflect real life | :10:51. | :10:56.
because you do own... I own in the Midlands. What kind of landlord are | :10:57. | :11:03.
you? -- Ione bar in the Midlands. I have problems working the tills. But | :11:04. | :11:10.
I am a good host, wander around all the time. We have lovely regulars, | :11:11. | :11:15.
locals, who come in. We are a destination site as well, lots of | :11:16. | :11:18.
people come for Sunday lunch will stop the food is great, ten ales at | :11:19. | :11:23.
the bar, it's fantastic. I tend to be floating about and amongst the | :11:24. | :11:26.
staff, love to go in the kitchen to see the guys are sweating. And | :11:27. | :11:32.
Johnny the staff along. Shoot them a smile and get on with it! Find loads | :11:33. | :11:37.
of autographs and do a thousand selfies will stop we were talking | :11:38. | :11:41.
about famous people who may have visited your school. You and Neil, | :11:42. | :11:47.
nothing. I can't think of anyone, my mother did a fitness class once but | :11:48. | :11:52.
that was it. That doesn't count. The mayor came to our school. We had | :11:53. | :11:56.
Noel Edmunds in a pair of foam trousers landing in a cream and | :11:57. | :12:02.
ground helicopter. You made this up! County Durham, can you imagine? That | :12:03. | :12:04.
image has stayed with me forever. That's pretty good, but nothing | :12:05. | :12:09.
compared to the Hollywood heart-throb who turned up | :12:10. | :12:11.
to a school in Manchester He is known for being a pirate in | :12:12. | :12:28.
the Caribbean. And wandering the majestic Middle Earth. So, today, | :12:29. | :12:33.
right here at STUDIO: Orlando Bloom is running a masterclass -- here at | :12:34. | :12:41.
Cheadle Hulme High School. You want to inspire the next generation of | :12:42. | :12:45.
actors. Orlando Bloom and pub ACA do our leading workshops today in the | :12:46. | :12:49.
hope they will help students apply for top universities and jobs. -- | :12:50. | :13:02.
Paapa Essiedu. This has been worked by Patsy Rodenburg, who has taught | :13:03. | :13:05.
many of the world's famous actors including Orlando. Are we all | :13:06. | :13:08.
feeling silly enough? Patsy gave me the confidence to | :13:09. | :13:18.
speak. It's a muscle. When you see it in these kits... -- these kids... | :13:19. | :13:29.
You see them just take the space and stand there with confidence and use | :13:30. | :13:34.
this language and how that will translate into job interviews, | :13:35. | :13:38.
interviews to get into Oxford or Cambridge or wherever they want to | :13:39. | :13:41.
go. They are not from this background necessarily getting the | :13:42. | :13:47.
opportunity to have. Get off! Cast it off! It is my lady, it is my | :13:48. | :13:54.
love! He's like... Enact any language because that's their but | :13:55. | :13:58.
everybody does. -- and actor needs language. Paapa Essiedu was at the | :13:59. | :14:04.
Royal Shakespeare Company and was their first ever black hamlet. | :14:05. | :14:10.
I always used to speak with my hands in front of my mouth. I was used to | :14:11. | :14:17.
mumbling my words. Then you do this craft training and you discover your | :14:18. | :14:22.
voice. It allows you to share yourself with people so much more | :14:23. | :14:26.
effectively. And confidently. Sponsoring this initiative is Andrew | :14:27. | :14:31.
Lohr, hedge fund manager, who set up the Laurus Trust. Look at the top | :14:32. | :14:37.
echelons of industry, acting, sports, politics, business, they are | :14:38. | :14:40.
filled with a long night of the very best private schools and those from | :14:41. | :14:43.
privileged backgrounds. What we want to try and do is level the playing | :14:44. | :14:48.
field and teach that they need to have a voice, a presence. Those | :14:49. | :14:51.
grades are just numbers and letters on a piece of paper, they need to | :14:52. | :14:54.
get across why it is they want that job. Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art | :14:55. | :15:01.
thou Romeo. Drive that the end of the line. It's a road map. There's | :15:02. | :15:06.
no road map, but there is in Shakespeare, oddly, because of this | :15:07. | :15:11.
I am bit will stop it is but thy name that is my enemy. | :15:12. | :15:15.
She's saying been not a Montague. What's Montague? What's Montague? | :15:16. | :15:28.
What's Montague? LAUGHTER It's like a dream come true. Finally | :15:29. | :15:32.
getting to be taught by somebody who is so experienced and get to take | :15:33. | :15:36.
things away from them and use it in everyday life. You can see that they | :15:37. | :15:40.
were better once they had taken the advice and put it into what they | :15:41. | :15:42.
were doing. It's helped me a lot. So nice. He | :15:43. | :15:48.
was so funny as well. You were taught by Patsy. How | :15:49. | :16:10.
important is drama? It should be in every school. You learn a lot of | :16:11. | :16:13.
confidence from it. It changed my life because I was in care homes at | :16:14. | :16:17.
the same time as I started doing drama. It was an extra thing for me. | :16:18. | :16:22.
Number one, I was getting noticed. Number two, I was occupied. I had | :16:23. | :16:26.
things to do. Number three, it gives you confidence. Confidence in | :16:27. | :16:29.
yourself. Being able to stand up and speak. Being able to voice what is | :16:30. | :16:33.
in your head. Not that I have ever had a problem with that, anyway! | :16:34. | :16:37.
It's almost time for the fifth round FA Cup Draw right here. | :16:38. | :16:47.
First Matt's outside with some very anxious fans. | :16:48. | :16:49.
17 teams are still in the FA Cup all waiting to hear | :16:50. | :16:52.
Sutton United and Lincoln City are the underdogs and are gathering | :16:53. | :16:56.
Tom you were there. What was the atmosphere like? It was 1-0, knocked | :16:57. | :17:12.
Leedsouted out. Did you expect that? . We thought the artificial surface | :17:13. | :17:16.
would make it difficult for them. The buzz around the club is | :17:17. | :17:20.
tremendous. Looking around this lot then, who are you hoping for and | :17:21. | :17:24.
home or away, that is the question? For me, the dream draw is Man United | :17:25. | :17:30.
away. Away? Absolutely away. All the money the club would get for it | :17:31. | :17:34.
would set us up for the foreseeable future. I hope things still go your | :17:35. | :17:39.
way. I really do. We have Rob and Luke here. Lincoln City supporters. | :17:40. | :17:43.
You used to play for the youth team, back in the day. I had a couple of | :17:44. | :17:47.
outings when they were short. Nothing fancy N there for a while. | :17:48. | :17:51.
Good! We have Luke here as well. Is it right you play for the youth | :17:52. | :17:54.
team? Yeah. How old are you? I'm ten. Which team would you like to | :17:55. | :17:59.
play against, your team play gens if the next round? Probably just one of | :18:00. | :18:03.
the Premier League teams away, just for the money. Like who - Chelsea? | :18:04. | :18:09.
Chelsea, Man City, anyone like that. Can you take them. Umm, yeah. Of | :18:10. | :18:15.
course you can! We have Gareth Southgate, an | :18:16. | :18:22.
ex-professional footballer, Robbie Savage, obviously. Have you thought | :18:23. | :18:28.
about techniques you will use for drawing the balls? I have seen Rod | :18:29. | :18:34.
Stewart. I might go for Rod Stewart. We have a clip of Rod Stewart | :18:35. | :18:39.
drawing balls. Number two... | :18:40. | :18:43.
Wow, I mean look at that dive in there! I am not sure how the green | :18:44. | :18:51.
room was... I think you will pull an arm if you do something like that! | :18:52. | :18:55.
You have both played in the FA Cup. How exciting it is for the fans | :18:56. | :19:01.
here? There is a real atmosphere? It is a special competition, for | :19:02. | :19:05.
supporters a chance to win a trophy. The Cup is a special occasion for | :19:06. | :19:12.
supporters and players alike. From an England manager's perspective, it | :19:13. | :19:15.
gives you a great opportunity to see some of the players who may not be | :19:16. | :19:21.
on show week-to-week. You have some playing in the last few weeks for | :19:22. | :19:25.
our junior national team. It is a great opportunity for them to play | :19:26. | :19:31.
under pressure. It is great to see. Obviously March will be a big month | :19:32. | :19:35.
for you, where are you at the moment with managing the teams and making | :19:36. | :19:38.
decisions? What process are you using? It is great. I have not lost | :19:39. | :19:44.
since November. But, you have a chance to plan and | :19:45. | :19:49.
get all the support team in place and get around and see the players | :19:50. | :19:54.
playing at their clubs. It's nice to have that opportunity to take stock. | :19:55. | :19:57.
October and November were quite mad. It is a chance to put all the plans | :19:58. | :20:01.
in. And Robbie, you must obviously think back to when you were a young | :20:02. | :20:04.
player and the opportunity that's on offer here tonight. This must be an | :20:05. | :20:09.
honour for you. It is amazing. When you see the balls come out the jar, | :20:10. | :20:14.
as a kid, to dream, to do it, it's fantastic. | :20:15. | :20:21.
BT Sport's Jake Humphrey is ready for the FA Cup Draw. | :20:22. | :20:24.

From all of us, a huge congratulations, to Sutton | :21:19. | :21:22.
That's worth a round of applause, isn't it? Here are the all-important | :21:23. | :21:35.
numbers. Stand by in South London. Sutton United you are ball number | :21:36. | :21:38.

out for, Spurs number one. Oxford, number three. Chelsea, number eight. | :21:43. | :21:47.
Nine, that is Manchester United. There are a few championship sides | :21:48. | :21:52.
that remain, Huddersfield, Fulham, 14. And Pep's Manchester City is | :21:53. | :21:57.
ball 16. Obviously you cannot do something as important as this on | :21:58. | :22:00.
your own. With me for this one, Robbie Savage, who played in 36 FA | :22:01. | :22:05.
Cup ties. Alongside him Gareth Southgate, who played in the final | :22:06. | :22:10.
17 years ago with Aston Villa. What was the further you -- furtherest | :22:11. | :22:14.
you got in the Cup? I think tonight, to be fair! You had a couple of big | :22:15. | :22:19.
games, didn't you? A couple of big ones. It is fantastic. You were also | :22:20. | :22:24.
on the receiving end of one of the biggest shocks, but also one of the | :22:25. | :22:33.
most incredible FA Cup goals. Lost to Wycombe Wanderers, there was a | :22:34. | :22:36.
header. There was an advert that went out. They were struggling for | :22:37. | :22:40.
players and telly text, they found him and he scored a header. Got to | :22:41. | :22:49.
the semifinal and lost to Liverpool. The age of telly text! It shows how | :22:50. | :23:01.
old you are! To play in the last cup final and Wembley is a special | :23:02. | :23:06.
place. Now it is back there, it is where every player dreams of | :23:07. | :23:10.
playing. Shall we do this? First things first, balls out of the bag. | :23:11. | :23:14.
Make sure every ball goes into the pot. That is quite important. | :23:15. | :23:18.

Sutton united. The lowest ranked side in the FA Cup have a home draw. | :25:12. | :25:15.
The question is, who do they play? No pressure, Robbie. The biggest | :25:16. | :25:19.
moment in Sutton's history is in your hands. | :25:20. | :25:23.
