Even if I'm just in my pyjamas or my pants,

I want to be dancing into my clothes.

concert, no matter what artist it is, it's always a moment.

was in a massive arena. And he came and did his Justified album...

The song that changed my life is Superstition by one of my

favourite artists of all time, Stevie Wonder.

It was 2009, X Factor,

when I went onstage and sang this for the first time in front

of the judges, I was just like... I knew that something happened in my

life and something was about to change.

You had some killer dance moves. Did they come out naturally?

Was it planned?

So many people have asked me, "Did you practise in your mirror?"

It was great! And I said, for years I said no.

Tell me about the song that you're most proud of writing.

The song that I'm most proud of writing

has to be Dance With Me Tonight.

Why?

I think because they always say the best songs are written very,

very quickly. Oh, really?

Songs that are really instant, they just come off the tongue,

and when we wrote Dance With Me Tonight,

I reckon I wrote that in under two hours. What?! Yeah.

That song means the world to me,

and whenever I do that at gigs and concerts, you know,

from little kids up to grandads... Uh-huh. ..everyone's dancing to it.

So, you're away on tour a lot of the time.

Is it really difficult not seeing your mates? Yeah. Love my mates.

You know, they're a massive part of my life.

They do come to the shows, they're super proud.

And I'm super proud of having them as mates, you know?

What's the one song that reminds you of your mates.

When we go out as friends we'll take lots of pictures of us

going out, do videos. And the next day I would do a video,

make it really special for my friends.

So we can always remember that night.

And every time I do it I pick a song.

One Direction are friends of mine. Mhmm.

And when they did History, that song just really like...

it's about you and your friends and

you're always creating history together.

There was one by Coldplay a few years ago, Paradise.

The video was just brilliant.

It was like an elephant, wasn't it? Yeah. The elephant's left the zoo,

I think. He'd gone on an adventure. Back to the wild.

Yeah. Obviously he was headed back to paradise, which is the wild.

So it was just really cleverly done, it was beautiful, it was amazing.

And that's one of my favourite videos.

a dream about this girl that was shouting at me saying,

Because she's amazing.

And then I thought to myself Oh My Goodness, I love you

so much, you're absolutely amazing. So I wrote a letter called

BOTH: Dear Darlin', cos I had to write that to her.

And in the letter I was trying to explain to her that

I know I'm a little bit of a Troublemaker, but please just give

me your Hand On your Heart, because it's all I really, really want.

Not on my sleeve, cos Heart On My Sleeve was good,

I bring the cheer to it. You've got not rhythm at all, have you?

No rhythm. No rhythm whatsoever.

It's a big up-tempo song, in terms of the feel.

But actually it's quite sad in the meaning.

It's just that obviously I went through a break-up

with my girlfriend. Oh, no.

And I know that lots of guys and girls will have been through

break-ups with people that... They don't love them any more.

Is that weird when you start writing an album and you're having to

write about stuff that's really, really sad.

It is for me because I walk in the studio like,

"Right, guys! Let's write a song! Yeah!"

And then this time I walked in and went...

"Shall we write a song today, guys?" Oh! This is breaking my heart.

They're like, "Are you OK?"

I'm like, "Yeah, I'm just not feeling myself today."

But You Don't Know Love is the start of the album and it's kind of

like the moving on process.
