He must be making a giant scarecrow!

Today, we've a very special job

building Farmer Pickles a new farmhouse.

-Hurrah!

-So we need to get all the straw over to the site.

We're not building it out of straw?

Actually, team, we ARE going to build it from straw.

But what'll stop it blowing down in the wind?

We'll cover it in special stuff called stucco.

It's like plaster and it's wind and waterproof.

-Farmer Pickles, can you and Travis get the bales to the site?

Here we are. Scoop, Benny and Muck, you can dig out the foundations.

We need plenty of concrete for the foundations.

Then we'll build a dry-stone wall to support the bales.

Will they be strong enough?

Yes, Muck, we'll pin them in place with these wooden spikes.

Can we build it?

ALL: Yes, we can!

Er, yeah, I think so.

Right, Travis, that's the first load ready.

Won't Spud be surprised when he sees what we're doing?

I wonder where he's got to. Up to mischief, no doubt.

Farmer Pickles just thinks I mess around all the time.

But Spud's a good scarecrow. I just need to show him.

But I thought, if I hid them, you wouldn't be able...to build...

You can be a bit of a handful at times, Spud,

but you're still the best scarecrow I've ever had.
