Today, we're going to build something special

to add to the Skate Park.

A Bobland Bay ice rink!

Ice skating is one of my favourite pastimes.

To celebrate the opening of the new ice rink,

we're having an ice show tomorrow.

Ice show?! I'd love to be in the ice show.

We'll need lots of lime concrete for the base.

-It's like regular concrete, but better.

We'll use recycled wood for seating, so people can watch the action.

What are the pipes for?

They go underneath the concrete, then we connect them to this unit.

When the pipes get very cold, it freezes the water

on top of the concrete to make the ice.

-The whole thing is powered by the solar panels.
