How did all that come about?

Well, I worked with Nicki Minaj on Hey Mama

and a lot of people don't know that I was singing the hook to Hey Mama

and I met Nicki when we did that

and so I wrote No Broken Hearts and it's an anthem about, you know,

not letting anything get you down

or any pain or any bad feelings get you down,

so I sent it over to Nicki and I was like, "OK, this is a long shot,

"I don't know if Nicki Minaj will want to sing on my record

"because I am a newer artist,"

but she heard it and she loved it and she jumped on it

and she put a rap on it and then we just shot this amazing music video.

Amazing. Now, funny you mention rapping there and Nicki Minaj

because we had Zara Larsson on the show a few weeks ago.

Oh, I love her!

-She has an awesome Nicki Minaj impression. Check this out.

I really loved music.

Since I was four years old, I would listen to Mickey Mouse
