Welcome to Copycats with your hosts Sam and Mark.

And today's Copycats are Karl's team from Essex.

And Meg's team from Bradford.

The game show where, unlike in a history exam,

copying the person next to you is encouraged.

In fact, it could win you the ultimate prize.

You can forget the World Cup, the Wimbledon trophy,

-even my 25-metre swimming badge.

-Ow!

Even that. Because today our teams will be playing

for the greatest prize in game show history.

Yes, it's the Copycats' trophy.

AUDIENCE: Oooh!

Whoa, stop your "oooos".

What happened to the tickets to the Bahamas?

-Ran out of money, mate.

-Shall we meet today's Copycats?

Come on then, let's do it.

Welcome to the show.

Before we go any further,

we are going to take a look at your audition tape.

The reason why you guys are on Copycats.

It looks like you are going to give Karl's team a run for their money.

Give it up for Meg's team.

It looks like those cats are ready to get copying.

As with every game of Copycats,

teams will take it in turns to copy pictures, actions,

and displays of musical genius.

In order to get as many points as possible,

each team will take turns to face the Copycats challenge later.

Before the show we tossed a coin

which told us that Karl's team will play first. Let's play Copycats.

I hope you've been brushing up on your artistic skills

cos it's time for Quick On The Draw.

I've got three cards in my hand. You will have to chose a card,

You will have ten seconds to draw what is on the card

for the person next to you and so on and so on.

There's a maximum of 50 points to be won in this round,

but as we pass it back down the line,

we lose ten points for every incorrect answer.

Perfect pictures get perfect points. So, Copycats, ready?

-ALL:

Well Mark, after Quick On The Draw

The next round will test our teams' skill, nerve and determination.

because this is the Copycats Challenge.

Karl's team, as you guys won the toss before the show

you'll be the first to attempt the challenge but,

before we reveal what awaits you, there's one more thing to do.

Meg's team, so you don't have an unfair advantage

when it comes to your turn,

we're going to send you off.

Now, Karl, as team captain you need to pick three people

to attempt the daunting Copycats Challenge.

But, before you do,

let's find out what's in store.

Over to you, Mr D.

The Tower.

Players must attempt to remove 12 blocks, one at a time,

without the structure falling over.

10 points will be awarded for each block removed.

CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

The best of luck. Your time starts now.

Karl's chosen Linzie and Mark

to join him for the challenge.

Karl goes first, though, as the team captain.

Which will he go for first? A yellow.

Pushing that through.

Got to do it gently.

Equally, he can't take too much time over this.

Don't just wander round, you have to run. Come on!

Karl, get a move on. 1:12 to go.

You can do this.

Pull that block through.

Then you go for another one.

Now it's Linzie's turn.

Which is Linzie going to go for?

One of the black blocks. Excellent.

Good. That's it, we need to move.

Come on, Mark goes for the red one.

That's the sort of pace you've got to keep up.

Carefully does it. But equally

you've got to move fairly quickly.

Back with Linzie. Linzie goes for one of the black ones.

Excellent, pulls that block through.

The structure is still safe. Mark next.

He's not really going for one of the side yellows.

He's going for that one, one of the black blocks.

Very wise, at this stage.

Next, back to Karl.

Karl's going for the red one.

Be very careful.

Karl IS very careful.

Got to be fairly swift about this,

to notch up as many blocks as you can.

Next it's Linzie.

This is Mime Time.

You did really well in the drawing round.

Time to test your acting skills.

I have three cards you need to choose from.

Pick one of those cards and you then have ten seconds

to mime what's on that card for the player next to you, Sam,

and so on down the line.

There is a maximum of 50 points to be won in this round

but as we pass it back down the line

you lose 10 of those points for every incorrect answer.

Earlier on Karl's team built up a pile of those all-important points

may determine which team wins their ticket to the Ball Room.
