Welcome to Copycats, with your hosts Sam and Mark.

And today's Copycats are...

Becky's team from Glasgow

and Benny's team from Leicester.

the game show where copying is good.

If you ever needed to copy to win a prize, then that time is now.

Whether drawing, miming or playing the kazoo,

the better you are at copying, the more points you get.

Only true copycats get the chance to win the greatest prize in history.

It is, of course, the Copycats trophy.

ALL: Whoooh!

-Shall we meet today's copycats?

Becky, plant it there. How are you doing?

Great, I'm excited to be here. Good! I'm excited to have you here.

Excellent. Before we go any further, we'll get to know you better, so...

we'll take a look at your audition tape. Let's take a look.

Let's take a look.

I am 11 years old and I love to boogie!

On April 1, I will be 13,000 days old.

This is Reuben, and he is my school friend.

Yeah!

Give it up for Benny's team, everyone.

Our teams are ready to start copying.

As with every game of Copycats, the teams take it in turns

to copy pictures, actions and displays of musical genius.

To get as many points as possible,

each team takes it in turns to face the Copycats challenge later on.

We tossed a coin and Becky's team will play first. Let's play Copycats.

Becky's team, I hope you've brushed up on your artistic skills

because it's time to play Quick On The Draw. Tommy,

I've got three cards, pick one, then you have 10 seconds to draw

what's on the card to the person, Becky, and so on down the line.

-Any good at drawing?

-So-so.

-So-so, OK.

There's a maximum of 50 points to be won, but as we go down the line,

you'll lose 10 points every incorrect answer.

-Perfect pictures get perfect points. Copycats, are you ready?

-Yes!

Yes!

Beautiful. Let's close the doors.

Tommy, I've got pink, yellow or blue.

Blue. Take a look.

Reckon you can draw that?

-Yeah.

-Nice!

-I hope so.

-I hope so too. You've got 10 seconds.

Becky, your turn.

Siobhan, your turn.

Try and use all the 10 seconds if you can.

Natalie, your turn.

OK, interesting.

Hannah, for 50 points, what's the answer we're looking for?

-Is it a cookie?

-It looks like one, but that's not the answer we want.

Natalie, for 40 points, what do you reckon Kirsty's drawn?

It looks like a rugby ball.

A rugby ball? It's not a rugby ball. So we're playing for 30 points.

-Kirsty, what's the answer?

-Pizza?

-It's not a pizza.

Which means we're playing for 20 points. Siobhan, what do you think?

Um...football pitch?

Wow!

Wow, it's not a football pitch, so we're playing for

the minimum of 10 points. Becky, what do you reckon?

-Is it an orange?

-It's not an orange.

-Tommy, d'you want to tell everybody?

-A hamburger.

Ohh!

Yeah, interesting. Well, it was very entertaining, but sadly, guys,

at the end of Quick On The Draw, you get no points.

But give them a round of applause anyway.

-Hayley, we have got pink or yellow. Which would you like?

-Pink.

-OK.

-Thank you.

-Have a look at that.

Oh, she's confident.

That was a knowing look there. Fantastic. Ready...

steady, draw! Open the door.

Oh. Time to spare.

OK, Benny, your turn.

OK.

Everybody's nodding their heads, thinking they know it.

That's a good sign.

OK. Fantastic copying.

OK, Reuben.

All right, Darren. You're next.

OK, guys, stop drawing.

There was some good copying there. For 50 points,

Bethany, any idea what Darren has drawn there?

Is it a teapot?

It's correct, it's a teapot, yes!

Look at that!

That is how you copy a picture.

That did not deviate at all. That's fantastic.

Benny's team, it means you get the maximum 50 points. Well done!

and Benny's team have 50 points.

The next round will test our teams' skill, nerve and determination.

Becky's team won the toss, so they will go first.

Now, Becky, as team captain, you need to select three people

to face the awesome Copycats Challenge, but first,

let's find out what it is. Mr D, show us, will you?

The Puzzle.

An image of a completed puzzle will be displayed on the screen.

You must copy this image by sliding the tiles into position.

10 points for every square in the correct place when time runs out.

Best of luck, team.

In three, two, one... slide!

So it's Kirsty, Becky and Tommy playing the game.

The image of the completed puzzle is on your screen in the corner.

10 points for every square in the right place.

Red, yellow and black sliding tiles to move around.

And Tommy is really moving around.

He's leaning right across the puzzle

moving the black tiles at the top there.

If you keep an eye on the screen in the corner,

a tick will appear for the correct one near the end of the game.

Lots of concentration.

You don't have to complete the puzzle,

but the more squares in the right places,

the higher your scores.

Speak to each other, guys, it's all about team work.

Not a lot of time left to do this in, though, guys. Come on.

They're thinking about this.

Benny, I've got three cards in my hand. You pick one.

Then you have ten seconds to mime what is on that card

for the player next to you, which is Neil. And so on down the line.

Remember, we are looking for silent performances, understand? Fantastic.

There is a maximum 50 points up for grabs,

so if you think you know the answer, add more detail

so the mime goes to the end of the line.

Perfect performances mean perfect points.

Is he writing letters and putting them in the post box?

It's a cracking guess, but it's the wrong answer.

-I thought this was very good from Reuben.

It looks as if somebody's shovelling something.

It's not shovelling. OK, we're playing for 40 points.

-It's skiing, yay!

Very good. I've got to say, Becky and Siobhan,

you guys were right into it there, weren't you? Yay! All right.

Excellent, guys. That means at the end of Mime Time, you get 30 points.

Ater Mime Time, are Benny's team dining out in style

And are Becky's team going to win gold at the Copycats Winter Olympics?

It's time to find out the scores. Mr D, what could they be?

Well, Sam, after Mime Time, Becky's team have 30 points.

And Benny's team, 70 points.

It's time to get serious again because Benny's team

are about to face the Copycats challenge.

Earlier, Becky's team scored some important points,

but did they do enough? Only time will tell.

Now, Benny, it's your chance to add some crucial points to your score.

Thought about it for a second(!) "Yeah, we're ready! Yeah, why not?"

Becky's team, it's time for you to leave. Get yourselves a croissant.

The results of the challenge will be revealed

at the end of the music round when the extra points may determine

which teams win their tickets to the Ball Room.

Benny, as captain, you need to select three people

to face the Copycats challenge.

First you get to have a look at what's in store for you. Mr D?

As before, the image of a completed puzzle

will be displayed on the screen.

You must copy this image by sliding the tiles into position.

when the time runs out.

They're moving the red, yellow and black tiles.

Siobhan, all you have to do is pick a well-known tune

then play it to the person next to you using this kazoo.

Kirsty, you need to listen to what Siobhan plays very, very carefully

because you're the one passing it down the line.

There's a maximum of 50 points up for grabs,

Perfect playing means perfect points.

Everyone, except Siobhan, put your headphones on

so you don't hear which song has been selected.

REALLY difficult, the kazoo. But that means that Benny's team,

There are only ten points between the teams, but we still have

to reveal the scores from the Copycats challenge.

which means the team going through to the Copycats Ball Room

We're off. So, Becky has chosen her sisters Natalie and Siobhan

to join her in the Ball Room. Becky catching the red balls,

Siobhan the blue and Natalie the yellow ones.

There's a lot of activity, but how many balls do we have

in the scoring cylinders? That's the big question

and the answer, I can tell you, is... Oh, look.

Quite a few in the blue there. Siobhan doing well.

What else have we got?

Come on, Natalie, picking up the yellow ones, how are you doing?

Ooh, not too badly at all. Becky a little bit behind with the red.

But the blue and the yellow are scoring highly.

This is good news, but we need to get those red balls as well, Becky.
