Hello and welcome to Copycats, the game show where copying is good.

It really is.

And we've got two teams chomping at the bit to get started in our

world-famous cubicles.

We'll also be putting them through their paces on the toughest

copying game on the whole of CBBC, the Copycats Challenge.

And all of this is to earn their spot in the Ball Room,

to play for the object of beauty that is the Copycats Trophy.

-AUDIENCE:

So, let's meet today's teams.

-Right, Rosa, team captain.

-Hello.

-Excellent.

Would you like to introduce the rest of your team, please?

This is my friend, Navaya. This is my brother, Frank.

This is my mum's friend. This is Navaya's mum, Gemma.

-And this is my mum, Priti.

So, let's get on with the show. It's not called Copycats for nothing.

No, no, no.

Each round gets our teams displaying their artistic, dramatic and

musical talents as they try and pass the answer down the line.

But not only that, they'll also face the one,

-the only Copycats Challenge.

-Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah.

We had planned to host a mini-Olympics to work out which

team would play first, but time just got away with us.

It just does, doesn't it? So we tossed a coin instead.

And as a result, Rudy's team are kicking things off,

so let's play Copycats.

CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

OK, Rudy's team, it is time to put your drawing skills to the

test because we are about to play Quick On The Draw.

Alex, you are going to pick one of these three cards.

You're then going to have ten seconds to draw whatever is on that

card to the player next to you, which is Daniel.

And then so on and so on down the line.

50 points are up for grabs in this game.

But you will lose ten points for every incorrect answer going

-back down the line. Do you understand?

-Yeah.

-And are you ready?

-ALL:

Frank, any idea for a maximum of 50 points,

That does indeed look like a mushroom,

but that's not the answer we're looking for.

Which means we're playing for 40 points. Priti, any idea?

-Um, is it an umbrella?

-It's not an umbrella.

Which means we're playing for 30 points. Gemma?

A bat and ball.

You're close. We need to be a bit more specific, unfortunately.

-So we're playing for 20 points.

can Rosa's team serve for the match? Or will Rudy's team come

Now, both teams have had a shot in our cubicles,

but now we are really putting their nerves and their copying

abilities to the test because this is the Copycats Challenge.

And because Rudy's team won the toss,

they are first to face the challenge.

So, Rosa's team, we don't want you guys to have

a sneaky peek of what's in store, we want to save it for you.

We want to save it for you. So, we're going to send you off.

OK, now, Rudy, as team captain, you now need to select four people

to face the spectacular, and it is spectacular, Copycats Challenge,

but before you take your pick, let's find out what's in store for you.

Mr D, what could it be?

'The Equaliser.

'Players must move blocks between towers to copy the pattern

'shown on screen. But they can only pass one block at a time.

'30 points are scored for each correctly copied pattern.

'Good luck.'

-'Here we go, then, with Rudy's team.

'Alex, Thea, Daniel and Rudy himself.

'They can see the pattern in front of them.

'They're adding up how many blocks each tower needs.

'And Daniel is trying to sort it all out,

Priti, there are three cards in my hand.

You are going to pick one of these cards.

You'll then have ten seconds to mime what is on that card to

the player next to you, which is team captain Rosa.

So on and so on, down the line. You know the score.

50 points up for grabs, but don't forget,

you will lose ten points for every incorrect answer.

One rule in this round. Silent performances, please.

No talky talky, because that will be cheaty cheaty.
