Well done, Lofty!
Scoop, I want you to start clearing the ground here,
while Lofty and I work in the next field.

It's a little worm.
Hello, wiggly worm!
SCOOP CHUCKLES I'd like to stay and talk,
but I've got lots of digging to do.
There. You'll be safe now, wiggly worm.
Hang on! I put you over there!
Come on, wiggly worm. Back you go.
There. Now, don't you move!
Phew! There's a lot to clear away.
Oh, not again!
You've been wiggling all over the place!
Now, this really is the last time.
You've got to stop wiggling back!
-Hi, Scoop! Have you finished your digging?
-Um, no, Bob.
I have to keep moving this worm out of the way.
But there's not just one worm, Scoop. There's lots of worms! Look!
Oh, yeah! There's loads of them, Bob.
Worms are good for the soil, so you have to look after them.
So, Scoop's done really well, um, hasn't he, Bob?
That's right, Lofty. ..Nice one, Scoop.
-All your worms are safe and sound.
-And very wiggly too, Bob!
More wiggly than a rabbit's nose!
Bob gets busy on a smaller job than usual.
Scoop is digging when he spots a wiggly worm in the earth in his digger. He puts the earth with the worm safely to one side and carries on digging. In each load of earth that Scoop moves, the cheeky worm keeps appearing. Bob comes to check on Scoop's work, and Scoop explains about the worm. Bob laughs and points out to Scoop that there's not just one worm, but lots of worms.
