Last time the boys took on the Island challenge | 0:00:13 | 0:00:16
Vanishing Point, with the ultimate prize up for grabs. | 0:00:16 | 0:00:20
I want to get out of this bloomin' cage! | 0:00:20 | 0:00:23
And the boys did just that. Lead impressively by team captain Peter, | 0:00:23 | 0:00:27
they got Zach back and posted a fast time. | 0:00:27 | 0:00:31
THEY CHEER | 0:00:31 | 0:00:33
Coming up, it's the girls' turn to go toe to toe against the Island. | 0:00:33 | 0:00:38
Go on, go on, go on! | 0:00:38 | 0:00:39
Guys, I'm telling you, you'd better get me down. | 0:00:39 | 0:00:42
It's going to get frantic. | 0:00:42 | 0:00:44
But there's no respite as the Island drops another revelation | 0:00:44 | 0:00:48
that will shock the adventurers to their core. | 0:00:48 | 0:00:51
This is Scorpion Island. | 0:00:54 | 0:00:56
Hello and welcome to Escape From Scorpion Island. | 0:01:24 | 0:01:27
It's a devious Island and you join us as the girls | 0:01:27 | 0:01:30
-try to win back their team mates. -Day four is being a tough cookie, | 0:01:30 | 0:01:34
and the Island wouldn't want it any other way. | 0:01:34 | 0:01:37
Scorpion Island relishes in its splendid isolation | 0:01:37 | 0:01:41
and uses its natural world | 0:01:41 | 0:01:44
as its impenetrable defence system. | 0:01:44 | 0:01:46
The Island is teaming with life, its precious treasure. | 0:01:47 | 0:01:51
In recent times, an adventurer came from far across the seas. | 0:01:53 | 0:01:58
He was a fortune hunter whose mission it was to plunder the Island | 0:01:58 | 0:02:02
of its legendary treasure. | 0:02:02 | 0:02:04
He took on the Island's challenges and succeeded. | 0:02:10 | 0:02:13
But when he failed in his final escape, the furious Island | 0:02:13 | 0:02:17
mischievously captured the fortune hunter's spirit and locked it away. | 0:02:17 | 0:02:21
Now ten adventurers must follow the path he created. | 0:02:27 | 0:02:31
Their mission - to escape the Island. | 0:02:31 | 0:02:34
They must battle it out in terrifying challenges | 0:02:34 | 0:02:37
and the victors will win an Island Treasure. | 0:02:37 | 0:02:39
The more that they win, the greater the advantage they will have | 0:02:39 | 0:02:42
in the final race to escape. | 0:02:42 | 0:02:44
So, the boys won Zach back in the Island challenge | 0:02:48 | 0:02:52
and now their team is back to their full complement of adventurers. | 0:02:52 | 0:02:57
Oh, guys, how good does it feel to have Zach back? | 0:02:57 | 0:02:59
-Yeah, it's good. -Cheers, guys, for getting me back. | 0:02:59 | 0:03:04
The boys use the opportunity to assess how they work as a team. | 0:03:04 | 0:03:08
Well, I think we need to work more on our teamwork and, um... | 0:03:09 | 0:03:14
What's it called? | 0:03:14 | 0:03:17
Communication. | 0:03:17 | 0:03:18
-Our communication was really good today. -It was good today. | 0:03:18 | 0:03:22
But I think that's how we lost... | 0:03:22 | 0:03:23
I think that's how we mainly lost yesterday. | 0:03:23 | 0:03:27
Also, this is mainly for me, I'm not saying you guys do this as well, | 0:03:27 | 0:03:31
I think we also need to be a lot less... | 0:03:31 | 0:03:36
Our attitude, I have to say I'm the main culprit for that, | 0:03:36 | 0:03:41
but we're all a bit too like, "Oh, we've won two challenges, | 0:03:41 | 0:03:45
"the girls will never be up to our level." | 0:03:45 | 0:03:48
We have a friendly rivalry. | 0:03:48 | 0:03:50
But we pushed it a bit too far yesterday, I think. | 0:03:50 | 0:03:53
And they really wanted it back, so they tried their best yesterday. | 0:03:53 | 0:03:56
So I think we need to be more friendly. | 0:03:56 | 0:03:59
I think without Zach it's been quite good, because it's given us a chance | 0:04:01 | 0:04:06
to sort out where we are, like, | 0:04:06 | 0:04:10
sitting and staying as a group. | 0:04:10 | 0:04:13
But as soon as he came back, it was really good as well. | 0:04:13 | 0:04:16
Because he just popped straight into our group as well. | 0:04:16 | 0:04:20
But while the boys are happy that Zach is back in the fold, | 0:04:20 | 0:04:23
the furious Island is not... | 0:04:23 | 0:04:26
and will be even angrier if the girls can release Jeremy. | 0:04:26 | 0:04:30
But it's a huge if. | 0:04:30 | 0:04:32
Next up, it's the girls. | 0:04:36 | 0:04:38
And for now that is only Lizzie... | 0:04:38 | 0:04:40
Natty... | 0:04:40 | 0:04:42
..Khadie | 0:04:43 | 0:04:45
and today's captain, Eleanor. | 0:04:45 | 0:04:47
Because the girls won the Memory Trial, they could choose what | 0:04:51 | 0:04:55
order the teams would take on the Island challenge Vanishing Point. | 0:04:55 | 0:04:59
Are you going to go first or second in the Island challenge? | 0:04:59 | 0:05:02
We're going to go 2nd. | 0:05:02 | 0:05:04
So, they watched while the boys did what they'll do in their turn - | 0:05:04 | 0:05:08
racing out on a wobbly cart, over precarious cables, | 0:05:08 | 0:05:11
strung over a huge ravine, in order to collect cogs to use | 0:05:11 | 0:05:15
to weigh down the member of their team that vanished | 0:05:15 | 0:05:18
at the last Island fire. | 0:05:18 | 0:05:20
THEY GASP | 0:05:20 | 0:05:21
Jordan and Peter moved quickly, but wasted time releasing the cogs. | 0:05:21 | 0:05:25
I think with the first cog, | 0:05:25 | 0:05:27
they fumbled with it. They were like, "Can't get it." | 0:05:27 | 0:05:29
The girls also weren't impressed | 0:05:29 | 0:05:32
-by the way the boys talked to each other. -Cog! Cog! The cog! | 0:05:32 | 0:05:35
They're not communicating right. They're screaming, "Come on!" | 0:05:35 | 0:05:39
Or by Zach's efforts to motivate them. | 0:05:39 | 0:05:42
Use two hands, Dilhan! Two hands! | 0:05:42 | 0:05:45
Zach's being a bit rude to them - it's not all about him. | 0:05:45 | 0:05:48
-Get to the thing, you two! -The boys had to place | 0:05:48 | 0:05:50
all five cogs on the scales to weigh Zach down | 0:05:50 | 0:05:53
before the clock reached ten minutes. Despite what the girls thought... | 0:05:53 | 0:05:57
They're not going very fast at all! | 0:05:57 | 0:05:59
..they easily managed this, freeing him in eight minutes and seven seconds. | 0:05:59 | 0:06:03
An impressive target, which meant the girls really had to think about their tactics, | 0:06:03 | 0:06:08
such as whether the girls on the cart should try to help the winchers return them to the start. | 0:06:08 | 0:06:13
-Do you want us to help you pull us in or do you want us to save our energy? -Save your energy. | 0:06:13 | 0:06:17
Natty in particular sounded petrified by this challenge. | 0:06:17 | 0:06:21
I really hope I don't have to go out on that wire, because that is really, really, really high. | 0:06:21 | 0:06:26
But that hasn't stopped the Island choosing her to go out on the cart | 0:06:26 | 0:06:29
with Khadie, who at least has some sound advice for her team mates. | 0:06:29 | 0:06:33
Natty, do not look down. Focus on the aim of the game and win it. OK? | 0:06:33 | 0:06:37
So, as the girls arrive at the ravine to find Jeremy in the suspended cage, they've got to | 0:06:37 | 0:06:42
be wondering if they've got what it takes not just to save her but to do so quicker than the boys saved Zach, | 0:06:42 | 0:06:48
and so win the latest Island Treasure - The Scorpion. | 0:06:48 | 0:06:52
It all seems a bit quiet. Of course, Jeremy's not here! | 0:06:55 | 0:06:59
Have you missed her? She's such a big character, isn't she? | 0:06:59 | 0:07:02
Now, you saw the boys earlier on. How do you think they did? | 0:07:02 | 0:07:06
I think they did quite well. | 0:07:06 | 0:07:08
But what I think they did not do very well was | 0:07:08 | 0:07:11
at the beginning, Peter and Jordan pulled it really, really hard. They tired themselves out. | 0:07:11 | 0:07:15
And, if you saw on the last one, they were going really slowly. | 0:07:15 | 0:07:19
They were, like... | 0:07:19 | 0:07:21
And also what they were doing they were pulling themselves back | 0:07:21 | 0:07:24
in instead of letting the people up the top pull them back in. | 0:07:24 | 0:07:28
Which, even though it's helping the people up the top, really it's wasting your energy. | 0:07:28 | 0:07:33
I'm so interested to see how you girls do. If you do this in a quick enough time, | 0:07:33 | 0:07:37
you'll get Jeremy back and you'll win today's Island Treasure. How much does the Island Treasure mean to you? | 0:07:37 | 0:07:42
-Loads. Because if the boys win it'll be 3-1 and so we'll need to win. -And if we win, we'll be equal. | 0:07:42 | 0:07:47
So you could get it to 2-2, level pegging. | 0:07:47 | 0:07:50
There's a lot riding on this, girls. Are you OK, do you feel ready for it? | 0:07:50 | 0:07:54
-Yeah. -Yeah? It's time for round two of today's Island challenge. | 0:07:54 | 0:07:58
So, it's almost time for the girls to play, and the boys | 0:08:01 | 0:08:05
are mocking Jeremy up in her cage. | 0:08:05 | 0:08:08
Do you want some bird seed?! THEY LAUGH | 0:08:08 | 0:08:10
Yeah, I'll have some with chocolate sauce. | 0:08:10 | 0:08:13
I'll throw some up! | 0:08:13 | 0:08:15
Guys, I'm telling you, you'd better get me down. | 0:08:15 | 0:08:18
Well, they're going to be trying to do just that. | 0:08:18 | 0:08:21
And they're in position now. | 0:08:21 | 0:08:23
On the kart are Khadie and Natty, who sounded like she'd rather be anywhere else. | 0:08:23 | 0:08:28
Plus on the winch are Lizzie and Captain Eleanor. | 0:08:28 | 0:08:31
Girls, are you ready for the Vanishing Point? | 0:08:31 | 0:08:34
Ready! | 0:08:34 | 0:08:36
In three, two, one... | 0:08:36 | 0:08:39
-..go! -They're off. | 0:08:40 | 0:08:42
Time starts now - can they beat the boys? | 0:08:42 | 0:08:45
Remember, to free Jeremy, they've got to deliver all of the five | 0:08:45 | 0:08:48
giant cogs onto the scales before the clock hits ten minutes. | 0:08:48 | 0:08:53
They have to do it faster than the boys did to win the Island Treasure. | 0:08:53 | 0:08:57
-Come on, Khadie. -I think they're faster. | 0:08:57 | 0:09:00
James might be right, because they've reached the first cog already. | 0:09:00 | 0:09:05
That's it, well done, Khadie. | 0:09:05 | 0:09:07
Come on, Khadie. | 0:09:07 | 0:09:09
And that looks like quick cog releasing. | 0:09:09 | 0:09:13
They've got their first cog, now they've got to go back. Remember, time is of the essence here. | 0:09:13 | 0:09:18
Which means Lizzie and Eleanor have really got | 0:09:18 | 0:09:21
to use all of their energy to winch the cart back ultrafast. | 0:09:21 | 0:09:24
Well, they're back, and this is careful work from Natty. | 0:09:30 | 0:09:34
-And it's in. -And that means Jeremy's lowered down a stage. | 0:09:34 | 0:09:38
Very composed start by the girls, they're not rushing it. | 0:09:38 | 0:09:41
Come on, guys, faster! | 0:09:41 | 0:09:44
But it sounds like Jeremy and Eleanor think they should be picking up the pace. | 0:09:45 | 0:09:49
Earlier on, Natty was saying how nervous she was, but she's doing really well. | 0:09:49 | 0:09:53
That is a long drop. I just hope she doesn't look down. | 0:09:53 | 0:09:56
Chocolate, chocolate... | 0:09:59 | 0:10:01
Chocolate? What are you on about? | 0:10:03 | 0:10:05
This is no time for chatting about snacks! | 0:10:05 | 0:10:07
Look at them, they're going really, really slow. | 0:10:11 | 0:10:14
They're already tired. | 0:10:14 | 0:10:16
Well, they might be tired, but they're at the second cog now. | 0:10:16 | 0:10:19
Come on, yes, you've got it. | 0:10:19 | 0:10:22
But they've got to get it onto the scales as rapidly as possible. | 0:10:22 | 0:10:27
Go, come on, go, quickly! | 0:10:27 | 0:10:28
Yeah, you've got the rhythm now, come on. | 0:10:28 | 0:10:32
The girls have learnt from the boys and they're not trying to get themselves back in, | 0:10:32 | 0:10:36
they're leaving it to the girls who are on the platform. | 0:10:36 | 0:10:38
They're trying to conserve their energy. | 0:10:38 | 0:10:41
That's cog two on and Jeremy down again, and it seems like they're moving quickly now. | 0:10:45 | 0:10:51
Faster, come on, guys, faster! | 0:10:51 | 0:10:53
Pull it forward! | 0:10:55 | 0:10:56
Great support from the rest of their team there. | 0:10:56 | 0:10:59
Oh, and they seem like they've reached the next cog! | 0:10:59 | 0:11:02
Oh, no! It's just the rope left from cog two! | 0:11:02 | 0:11:05
They've still got a distance to go and it means they've slowed down for nothing. | 0:11:05 | 0:11:10
It looks like they're struggling a little bit. | 0:11:10 | 0:11:13
I think this must be our lucky day, guys. | 0:11:13 | 0:11:15
But they are dragging themselves onward, and they're almost at the next cog. | 0:11:16 | 0:11:20
Have they stopped too soon? | 0:11:20 | 0:11:22
Surely Khadie can't reach it from there?! Oh... | 0:11:22 | 0:11:26
That was brave about Khadie - she reached all the way back. | 0:11:26 | 0:11:29
Bold work from Khadie here. | 0:11:31 | 0:11:33
The cart is way out in the middle of the ravine, where there cables are at their wobbliest and the drop | 0:11:33 | 0:11:38
at its greatest, and yet she leans right over to grab the cog - how terrifying. | 0:11:38 | 0:11:44
And she's got it! But it's all down to Eleanor and Lizzie now. | 0:11:47 | 0:11:52
That's it! | 0:11:52 | 0:11:54
They're doing a great job - this is quick work by the girls, but can they beat the boys? | 0:11:54 | 0:11:58
It's going to be tight. | 0:11:58 | 0:12:00
It's not as fast as you two were pulling. | 0:12:01 | 0:12:05
You were pulling like maniacs. | 0:12:05 | 0:12:07
But they're almost back. | 0:12:07 | 0:12:10
OK, keep going. | 0:12:11 | 0:12:13
Carefully, come on. | 0:12:13 | 0:12:14
And that's cog three in - a full six seconds quicker | 0:12:14 | 0:12:19
than the boys managed to get their third cog in. | 0:12:19 | 0:12:22
Could the latest Island Treasure, the Scorpion, be heading for the girls? | 0:12:22 | 0:12:25
Maybe, but the boys are still sounding confident. | 0:12:25 | 0:12:29
-They are taking more time getting out to the cogs than what we were. -Look how slow they're going now. | 0:12:29 | 0:12:34
-We're so close! -This is really difficult. | 0:12:34 | 0:12:38
Of course it's difficult, Natty - this is Scorpion Island! | 0:12:39 | 0:12:43
Look at that, Khadie is suffering. | 0:12:45 | 0:12:48
Look at Khadie's face - it's all scrunched up. | 0:12:50 | 0:12:52
Come on, you have to go faster! You're not there yet. | 0:12:52 | 0:12:56
They have to use more strength the nearer the middle they go. It is harder there. | 0:12:58 | 0:13:02
-That's it, that's better. -Almost there, Khadie. Almost there. | 0:13:02 | 0:13:07
A few more and you'll get there! | 0:13:07 | 0:13:09
The team are keeping up the encouragement, but they really seem to have slowed down. | 0:13:09 | 0:13:15
And this will cost them valuable seconds. | 0:13:15 | 0:13:19
The question is, has it also cost them the lead? | 0:13:19 | 0:13:22
More excellent reaching from Khadie, but she's got to be so careful. | 0:13:23 | 0:13:28
-Don't drop it, whatever you do. -Yes! | 0:13:31 | 0:13:33
Lizzie and Eleanor, good teamwork, pulling them back - | 0:13:38 | 0:13:41
and this gives the girls on the rope a chance to relax a little bit. | 0:13:41 | 0:13:44
But is this tactic meaning they're losing speed again? | 0:13:49 | 0:13:53
Remember, when the boys were at this stage in the game, Jordan and Peter helped haul themselves in. | 0:13:55 | 0:14:01
It was exhausting, but was it a more effective plan? | 0:14:01 | 0:14:04
Eleanor and Lizzie are looking really tired, but they've brought Natty and Khadie back in again. | 0:14:06 | 0:14:12
That's the fourth cog in, but it took them over 40 seconds longer | 0:14:15 | 0:14:19
than the boys, so if the girls want to beat their final time and nab the Island Treasure, | 0:14:19 | 0:14:24
they've got less than a minute and a half to bring their last cog back. | 0:14:24 | 0:14:28
I believe in you! Come on! | 0:14:28 | 0:14:30
Come on! I know it hurts... | 0:14:30 | 0:14:32
Terrific cheering, but it looks like Natty and Khadie are really feeling the strain now. | 0:14:32 | 0:14:37
That's good. | 0:14:37 | 0:14:39
We really want to beat the boys, don't we? | 0:14:39 | 0:14:43
We want to get Jeremy back. | 0:14:43 | 0:14:45
They're only halfway along, they still need to go all the way | 0:14:45 | 0:14:49
to the other side and collect that final cog. Can they do it? | 0:14:49 | 0:14:52
They'll need a proper speed boost, but they look completely exhausted. | 0:14:55 | 0:15:01
This is the final push, we need more, come on! | 0:15:01 | 0:15:05
And they're coming up to the boys' final time of eight minutes seven seconds now... | 0:15:05 | 0:15:10
And yep, that's it - bad news for the girls. | 0:15:10 | 0:15:14
The girls have now taken longer than the boys, which means they won't be collecting the Island Treasure, | 0:15:15 | 0:15:21
and this becomes all about rescuing Jeremy. To do that, they need to get this last cog back | 0:15:21 | 0:15:26
before the cog hits ten minutes. Can they do it? | 0:15:26 | 0:15:29
Put everything in to it. Hard, hard, hard. You're doing amazing! | 0:15:32 | 0:15:36
Don't forget, Eleanor is the team captain, she's got to drive her team on, and she's doing a fabulous job. | 0:15:36 | 0:15:41
But this is so physically demanding. | 0:15:41 | 0:15:45
Look at this, their arms are aching so much. | 0:15:46 | 0:15:50
But they're almost there. | 0:15:52 | 0:15:54
At least Khadie's able to reach back - and yes, she's grabbed it! | 0:15:56 | 0:16:01
And they've got their final cog - can they get Jeremy back as their teammate? | 0:16:04 | 0:16:08
It's going to be close, they've got less than 30 seconds to get the cog back and onto the scales. | 0:16:08 | 0:16:13
Keep going! | 0:16:13 | 0:16:14
Just when they're all 100% shattered... | 0:16:16 | 0:16:19
..this is crunch time. | 0:16:20 | 0:16:22
A slip now could spell disaster - they've got less than ten seconds left. | 0:16:25 | 0:16:29
This is where it counts. | 0:16:33 | 0:16:35
Yes, they've done it! | 0:16:35 | 0:16:37
With just three seconds to spare, the girls have saved Jeremy. | 0:16:37 | 0:16:42
Unbelievably close stuff. | 0:16:42 | 0:16:44
Now, how are they feeling? | 0:16:44 | 0:16:47
Very tired, but I'm happy that we saved Jeremy, | 0:16:47 | 0:16:50
and even if we don't win, happy that we got a teammate back. | 0:16:50 | 0:16:53
I think that what I did | 0:16:53 | 0:16:56
well was communication, and getting everybody to keep on going. | 0:16:56 | 0:17:00
Natty and Khadie looked like they were about to give up. | 0:17:00 | 0:17:02
Me and Lizzie and Jeremy were just screaming at them, "Come on, you can do it." | 0:17:02 | 0:17:06
So, if we do win today, which I hope we do, and someone has to be picked to go up and get the Island | 0:17:06 | 0:17:11
Treasure, I hope we'll be allowed to pick two people, because Khadie and Natty were absolutely amazing. | 0:17:11 | 0:17:16
You're right, Eleanor, but they did also say some amazingly strange things. | 0:17:16 | 0:17:21
Chocolate, chocolate, chocolate... | 0:17:21 | 0:17:23
It was funny because we said if we ever got scared, we'd chant chocolate, and we were | 0:17:23 | 0:17:27
chanting chocolate out there most of the time. | 0:17:27 | 0:17:29
Well, it's a bizarre tactic, Natty, but it seemed to work for you, and for a while it even looked like | 0:17:29 | 0:17:36
this challenge was going to go your team's way. | 0:17:36 | 0:17:38
The boys put enormous effort into travelling back and forth over the ravine, | 0:17:40 | 0:17:45
and though Jordan and Peter did waste some time releasing the cogs, they - with great help from Dillon | 0:17:45 | 0:17:49
and James on the winch - kept up a solid pace even when the distances to the cogs got longer and longer. | 0:17:49 | 0:17:55
The girls started really swiftly, delivering all of their first three | 0:17:57 | 0:18:01
cogs quicker than the boys had and cunningly trying to save Khadie and Natty's energy | 0:18:01 | 0:18:05
by having Lizzie and Eleanor do all the work on the return journeys. | 0:18:05 | 0:18:09
However, it didn't seem to be enough to stop full-on fatigue setting in. | 0:18:09 | 0:18:14
And the girls had gone beyond the boys' finishing time even before they'd collected their fifth cog. | 0:18:15 | 0:18:21
A last-minute burst of focused physicality did enable | 0:18:21 | 0:18:24
the girls just to save Jeremy before their time ran out. | 0:18:24 | 0:18:27
But in the end there was no doubting that the boys came out on top here, | 0:18:27 | 0:18:32
and so they'll be awarded the latest Island Treasure, the Scorpion. | 0:18:32 | 0:18:36
Girls, you look pretty exhausted - how was that? | 0:18:39 | 0:18:41
Tiring. Especially for them. | 0:18:41 | 0:18:43
I can hardly talk about it being tiring - they were absolutely amazing. | 0:18:43 | 0:18:47
Yeah, it was really hard. | 0:18:47 | 0:18:49
You're in one position, and then once you finish you can't move your legs. | 0:18:49 | 0:18:53
I think you did really well, and you managed to get your teammate back. | 0:18:53 | 0:18:58
Let's welcome in Jeremy. Come on. | 0:18:58 | 0:19:00
-Well done! How does it feel to be a team again? -Brilliant. | 0:19:01 | 0:19:04
Have you guys missed Jeremy? | 0:19:04 | 0:19:06
-Yeah. -See? They all love me! | 0:19:06 | 0:19:09
Well, it was quite peaceful, actually. | 0:19:11 | 0:19:13
Jeremy, now that you're back, are you ready to cause some chaos? | 0:19:13 | 0:19:16
-Oh, yeah! -OK! | 0:19:16 | 0:19:18
You were watching them from up there, but towards the end | 0:19:18 | 0:19:21
were you worried that they weren't going to finish it? | 0:19:21 | 0:19:24
They were struggling, you could see it on their faces. | 0:19:24 | 0:19:26
I know, I was getting a bit worried because I saw them | 0:19:26 | 0:19:29
starting to slow down a little, so I was a bit worried, but I had complete trust in my teammates. | 0:19:29 | 0:19:34
You were victorious, you did really well, but... | 0:19:34 | 0:19:38
don't forget about the boys. ..Boys, come in. | 0:19:38 | 0:19:40
-Now boys, how do you think the girls did? -Good. -Good. | 0:19:42 | 0:19:46
Listen, you both did very well, both teams got their teammate back. | 0:19:46 | 0:19:50
But remember, you are also playing for the Island Treasure. | 0:19:50 | 0:19:55
And today's Island Treasure is the Scorpion. | 0:19:55 | 0:19:59
THEY ALL GASP | 0:19:59 | 0:20:01
Yes, that's right. | 0:20:01 | 0:20:02
And only one team can win the Scorpion - | 0:20:02 | 0:20:05
the one team that got the cogs in the fastest. | 0:20:05 | 0:20:10
And that team... | 0:20:10 | 0:20:12
is going to be revealed at tonight's Island Fire. | 0:20:12 | 0:20:15
Jeremy has effortlessly slotted back into the girls' team, but having seen what the Island is capable of, | 0:20:20 | 0:20:25
the mistrusting girls discuss the relevance of the latest Island Treasure - the Scorpion. | 0:20:25 | 0:20:31
I think this Island Treasure will be quite important because | 0:20:32 | 0:20:36
it's a Scorpion, and I think it will be very important because | 0:20:36 | 0:20:40
the whole show is called Scorpion Island. | 0:20:40 | 0:20:43
So the Scorpion might represent something in the form of... | 0:20:43 | 0:20:47
another member, or something important. | 0:20:47 | 0:20:51
Maybe it represents two Island Treasures or something. | 0:20:51 | 0:20:54
Because when you think about it, it makes you feel like | 0:20:54 | 0:20:57
there's something special about that Scorpion. | 0:20:57 | 0:21:00
I think we've done really well today because we did well with the challenge, | 0:21:00 | 0:21:04
We got Jeremy back, and I've got a feeling that we might have won this. | 0:21:04 | 0:21:10
In my opinion, even if we lose today, I think we did great. | 0:21:10 | 0:21:13
Yeah, at least we got one player back. | 0:21:13 | 0:21:15
But neither team can imagine just how angry the Island is | 0:21:19 | 0:21:24
or just what the Scorpion might represent. | 0:21:24 | 0:21:27
It's livid that both teams won their adventurers back and because of this will vent its fury. | 0:21:27 | 0:21:33
Hello, teams. Welcome to the Island Fire. | 0:21:37 | 0:21:40
As you know, this is where all is revealed about your missions | 0:21:40 | 0:21:44
and most importantly where the Island communicates with you. | 0:21:44 | 0:21:48
-Girls, you won back Jeremy. -Yeah! | 0:21:48 | 0:21:52
-How does it feel? -Very good. | 0:21:52 | 0:21:54
-Is it good to be back, Jeremy? -Yes. | 0:21:54 | 0:21:57
-Girls, did you miss her? -No... | 0:21:57 | 0:21:59
Yeah, I did miss her. | 0:22:01 | 0:22:02
I thought you were being serious for a second there, Eleanor. | 0:22:02 | 0:22:07
Now boys, you won back Zach. | 0:22:07 | 0:22:09
Please tell me that you are all happy at getting Zach back. | 0:22:09 | 0:22:12
-Yes. -Zach, are you happy to be back with the boys? | 0:22:12 | 0:22:16
I'm glad to be back with Peter, Dilhan, James and Jordan. | 0:22:16 | 0:22:20
I bet you're all itching to find out who won today's Island Challenge, and the Island Treasure, the Scorpion. | 0:22:20 | 0:22:26
Yeah. | 0:22:26 | 0:22:28 | |
Guys, today you took part in the Island Challenge, Vanishing Point. | 0:22:32 | 0:22:39
Now as you know, there can only be one winner | 0:22:39 | 0:22:43
and only the Island knows who that winner is. | 0:22:43 | 0:22:46
I can now tell you | 0:22:46 | 0:22:48
that one team managed to get their fifth cog | 0:22:48 | 0:22:52
into the scales one minute and 50 seconds faster | 0:22:52 | 0:22:58
than the other team. | 0:22:58 | 0:23:00
The team that beat the Island in Vanishing Point today is... | 0:23:04 | 0:23:09
-..the boys! -Yes! | 0:23:22 | 0:23:25
-Yes! -Yes! Come on! | 0:23:26 | 0:23:28
-Congratulations, guys. Happy? -Yes! | 0:23:28 | 0:23:32
-Surprised? -Yes! | 0:23:32 | 0:23:34
Fantastic. You did so well. | 0:23:34 | 0:23:35
And of course you get to win the Island Treasure, the Scorpion. | 0:23:35 | 0:23:39
Every night at the Island Fire, only one adventurer from the winning team can be awarded the treasure. | 0:23:41 | 0:23:48
The Island is keeping the reason why a closely guarded secret. | 0:23:48 | 0:23:52
-So who's it going to go to? -Peter. | 0:23:55 | 0:24:01
Peter. | 0:24:01 | 0:24:02
Who's your most valuable adventurer, guys - who could you not have done without? | 0:24:04 | 0:24:08
-Peter. -Why Peter? | 0:24:08 | 0:24:10
Because in the last two challenges, he was the main role. | 0:24:10 | 0:24:13
-An accumulation. -Yeah. | 0:24:13 | 0:24:16
Well, congratulations there, Peter, he's all yours. | 0:24:17 | 0:24:20
The Scorpion is no ordinary treasure - it represents the devious nature | 0:24:23 | 0:24:27
of the Island, and its very presence signals a shocking revelation. | 0:24:27 | 0:24:31
Peter and gang, I'm glad you're happy, however, | 0:24:31 | 0:24:35
something tells me the Island won't be very happy. | 0:24:35 | 0:24:38
In fact, I'm guessing it's positively raging tonight. | 0:24:38 | 0:24:41
I can now tell you that the Scorpion represents the devious side | 0:24:43 | 0:24:47
of the Island - he has a vicious, vicious sting and also two claws. | 0:24:47 | 0:24:53
Legend has it incidentally that only one team can escape from Scorpion Island. | 0:24:56 | 0:25:03
And that team can only be... either Team Sting | 0:25:04 | 0:25:09
or Team Claw. | 0:25:09 | 0:25:12
So you're no longer going to be girls against boys. | 0:25:13 | 0:25:17
Tomorrow, you will play an Island Challenge | 0:25:21 | 0:25:24
that will determine who will be the first team captain of Sting | 0:25:24 | 0:25:27
and who will be the first captain of Team Claw. | 0:25:27 | 0:25:31
Those captains will then choose their teams. | 0:25:32 | 0:25:36
That was a shock for both our teams - they've spent a lot of time | 0:25:42 | 0:25:46
bonding as the boys and girls, and now the Island is about to mix them all up. | 0:25:46 | 0:25:50
That's right. But now it's all about finding the new team captains for Sting and Claw. | 0:25:50 | 0:25:55
Which two adventurers will become the new captains? Well, you'll have to wait to find out. | 0:25:55 | 0:25:59
You can catch all the action online now. | 0:25:59 | 0:26:02
Goodbye from Scorpion Island. | 0:26:02 | 0:26:05
-Next time, the boys and the girls will be separated. -THEY CHEER | 0:26:05 | 0:26:09
And the bonds they have created are to be ripped apart. | 0:26:09 | 0:26:13
We made this camp ours and then, boom. Suddenly we've just been told we're going to be Sting and Claw. | 0:26:13 | 0:26:19
I have spent so long being friends with them now, but then the Island's | 0:26:19 | 0:26:23
twisted it up and now we've got to make friends with new people. | 0:26:23 | 0:26:26
They must fight each other to be the founding captains of the legendary Team Sting and Team Claw. | 0:26:26 | 0:26:34
It would be amazing | 0:26:34 | 0:26:37
if I could be the very first captain for Sting or Claw. | 0:26:37 | 0:26:40
I would feel elated if I was chosen to be the first captain of Sting or Claw. | 0:26:40 | 0:26:45
And the girls will be first to take on the Island. | 0:26:45 | 0:26:48
But it will unleash a devious challenge. | 0:26:48 | 0:26:51
My aim was completely off-target. | 0:26:51 | 0:26:54
She hit the board, but it wasn't enough! | 0:26:54 | 0:26:57
Everybody has a challenge that they're not very good at - and this was mine. | 0:26:57 | 0:27:02
