OK, guys. Gather round, is Team Talk Time.

Today we're going to be looking at ball tricks.

They're not always something you see in a match,

but they're good to practise to help with your ball control

and especially to impress your friends.

Who knows what ball tricks we could try?

Oh, lots of hands.

Fantastic. Maisie?

-Balancing a ball on your head.

-Yeah, that's right.

There are loads of different ball tricks that we can do.

Now, I'm not the best at doing tricks,

but I've brought my friend Dan Magnus, who is.

WHISTLE BLOWS

Dan Magnus, world record holder and professional footballing freestyler.

Dan can often be found balancing footballs on his head, or his feet.

When he's not doing that,

he's got a whole host of other ball tricks to show off.

DOG BARKS

-Hi, Dan.

-Hi, how you doing?

-I'm good, thank you.

Today we're looking at ball tricks.

What are three main things we can remember?

It's important to relax, so your body's not too stiff.

Then you're ready to freestyle.

But most importantly, it's about having fun.

What sort of things could we try?

We'll work on a move called the Rocket Launcher.

You get the ball in between your feet like this.

Jump by bending your leg up... And catch!

Blast off!

Great start from the team.

Nicely done, Dan.

Oh, brilliant stuff.

Good job.

Grip the ball slightly further in between your legs. Big jump.

Yes, brilliant, Dan!

Here's Rachel.

Oh, top stuff!

That's easy - it's right behind you.

Are you sure it's not behind YOU, Rex?

Oh, wow. He's a footballing magician.

I'm looking forward to seeing all your cool tricks, too.

But first, I need to check on a special surprise.

I know! My trick's nowhere near as good as that.

Don't worry about that, Geraldine.

And while Freddie's chasing that autograph,

the pups are perfecting their tricks.

I'm going to keep the ball up for three kicks.

I'm going to balance a ball on my nose.

Instead of me bouncing the ball,

the ball is going to bounce me. Wheee!

Well, my trick is spinning the ball on my head.

Oh, wow. All of your tricks are amazing.

I'm not sure Chimpaldo is going to like mine.

But, Geraldine, your trick is the best we've ever seen.

Benny's right.

How could you do anything better than a chimpossible football flip?

I could do a DOUBLE chimpossible football flip.

THEY GASP

-But no pup has ever done that before.

Geraldine, why are you on the floor?

Are you preparing for your big trick?

-Yes.

-Well, seeing as you're my biggest fan, I was thinking

maybe your trick could be the big finish to my TV show today.

Brilliant. Let's take a look with the Footy Pups to find out how to play.

To play this game, you'll need to be a little trickster.

When the whistle blows,

the first team must perform a mix

of their favourite and best ball tricks.

Like keepy-uppies...

or balancing a ball on your head.

When the second whistle blows, time's up and the judges will give

you a score based on how good they thought your tricks were.

The winners of this game will be the team who score the most points.

Three, two, one...

Fantastic stuff from the jesters,

starting us off with one of Dan's favourite moves -

the rocket launcher.

Brilliant. I think the judges liked that one as well.

Now they've moved on to a trick Tom showed us -

bouncing the balls on their knees and catching them.

These jesters are really concentrating here.

Time's running out. Now we're seeing some amazing throwing and clapping.

The magicians have moved on to the knee bounces. Brilliant stuff.

Great concentrating, Jozara. Nice controlled bounces.

Now they're on to the final move - throwing and clapping.
