Hi. My name is Isabella and I'm 11 years old. | 0:12:53 | 0:12:55
I live with my dad and my little brother, Luca. | 0:13:02 | 0:13:04
I love shopping and I really like buying clothes, | 0:13:09 | 0:13:11
especially when they're colourful. | 0:13:11 | 0:13:13
Unfortunately, with just my pocket money to spend, | 0:13:13 | 0:13:16
I don't get to buy new outfits very often. | 0:13:16 | 0:13:18
Bella loves clothes. | 0:13:18 | 0:13:20
Her friends think she's pretty. | 0:13:23 | 0:13:26
Isabella loves fashion. | 0:13:26 | 0:13:27
She always asks me to take her out shopping with her | 0:13:27 | 0:13:29
but there's only so much she can buy with just her pocket money. | 0:13:29 | 0:13:32
I love wearing clothes that show off my personality | 0:13:32 | 0:13:35
and make me stand out from the crowd. | 0:13:35 | 0:13:36
I wish I had more clothes to experiment with. | 0:13:36 | 0:13:39
I love my sister a lot. | 0:13:39 | 0:13:41
Isabella wants to create her own style and be a trendsetter. | 0:13:42 | 0:13:44
It's up to me to figure out how she can do this | 0:13:44 | 0:13:46
on a pocket-money budget. | 0:13:46 | 0:13:48
Luckily for her, I have a plan. | 0:13:48 | 0:13:50
Oh, my gosh! | 0:13:57 | 0:13:59
-Hi! -I'm Bella. -Nice to meet you. | 0:13:59 | 0:14:03
I love your bunk beds. Really awesome. | 0:14:03 | 0:14:05
I hear that you have a problem. | 0:14:05 | 0:14:08
You would like to have a few more clothes and be more fashionable? | 0:14:08 | 0:14:11
I love shopping and I love clothes | 0:14:11 | 0:14:13
but there's only so much I can buy with my pocket money. | 0:14:13 | 0:14:16
I see. Everyone could always use a bit more pocket money. | 0:14:16 | 0:14:18
What would you say if I told you we could find | 0:14:18 | 0:14:20
some great original clothes at cheap prices? | 0:14:20 | 0:14:23
Really? That's amazing. | 0:14:23 | 0:14:24
Ever heard of vintage clothing? | 0:14:24 | 0:14:26
It's cool, second-hand stuff that you can make into an amazing outfit. | 0:14:29 | 0:14:34
-You up for it? -Sure. -Let's hit the stores! | 0:14:34 | 0:14:36
Here we are at one of your local charity shops. | 0:14:43 | 0:14:46
There is oodles of stuff here. Do you think we can find something? | 0:14:46 | 0:14:49
I'm up for giving it a go. | 0:14:49 | 0:14:51
Great! Let's get stuck in. | 0:14:51 | 0:14:53
I like it! | 0:14:59 | 0:15:00
-This one's nice. -That IS nice. | 0:15:03 | 0:15:06
Very nice indeed. | 0:15:12 | 0:15:14
# Everybody's gone surfing | 0:15:23 | 0:15:26
# Surfing USA... # | 0:15:26 | 0:15:28
Back inside. | 0:15:29 | 0:15:31
# People try to put us down Talking about my generation... # | 0:15:32 | 0:15:36
There is absolutely loads of stuff in there. | 0:15:42 | 0:15:45
I reckon, with a bit of luck, | 0:15:45 | 0:15:46
Isabella will really be able to pull off the vintage look. | 0:15:46 | 0:15:49
Isabella, how is it going in there? | 0:15:49 | 0:15:52
I'm getting changed to another outfit. I think it's the one. | 0:15:52 | 0:15:55
Really? Can I have a look? | 0:15:55 | 0:15:56
That's amazing. | 0:15:56 | 0:15:58
-We should show that to your friends and family. -Yeah. | 0:15:58 | 0:16:01
# L-O-V-E Dance to the beat of my drum | 0:16:03 | 0:16:09
# Dance to the beat of my drum... # | 0:16:09 | 0:16:11
-Hey, guys. -Hi. -You're all here to see Isabella's new look, yeah? | 0:16:11 | 0:16:16
-Are you ready? -ALL: Yes. | 0:16:16 | 0:16:17
Let's call her, OK? | 0:16:17 | 0:16:19
ALL: Isabella! | 0:16:19 | 0:16:20
APPLAUSE | 0:16:20 | 0:16:22
Creating your own style is all about experimenting and being different, | 0:16:34 | 0:16:38
and it doesn't have to be expensive. | 0:16:38 | 0:16:41
You have to root around to find the items you like. Pop in often - | 0:16:44 | 0:16:48
the good stuff sells fast. | 0:16:48 | 0:16:49
..and a great way to express yourself. | 0:16:53 | 0:16:55
Isabella spent £16.50, | 0:16:57 | 0:16:59
but she bought a whole outfit. | 0:16:59 | 0:17:01
You could always buy one or two items | 0:17:01 | 0:17:03
to spruce up the clothes you already have. | 0:17:03 | 0:17:06
To achieve her look, we dressed Isabella in a flowery dress, | 0:17:06 | 0:17:10
a brown shrug with knitted detail | 0:17:10 | 0:17:12
and a pair of cool floral pumps. | 0:17:12 | 0:17:14
This combination is totally unique and gives off the vintage vibe. | 0:17:14 | 0:17:18
Isabella's look is full of patterns, | 0:17:20 | 0:17:22
so the trick is not to over-accessorise. | 0:17:22 | 0:17:24
We've gone for a slim-line belt, flowers in her hair | 0:17:24 | 0:17:27
and a gold bag to complete the look. Doesn't she look amazing? | 0:17:27 | 0:17:31
Isabella has really pulled off the vintage style and looks fabulous. | 0:17:31 | 0:17:35
Now she knows where to go to get some funky clothes | 0:17:35 | 0:17:37
when she's got spare pocket money. Result! | 0:17:37 | 0:17:40
The day has been exciting and really great fun. | 0:17:40 | 0:17:43
ALL: She looks amazing! | 0:17:43 | 0:17:45
I've learned so much today. | 0:17:45 | 0:17:47
I've learned how to be experimental and where to look for cool stuff. | 0:17:47 | 0:17:51
It was really cool meeting Georgia. At first I was scared, | 0:17:51 | 0:17:54
but then it felt like I'd known her for ages. | 0:17:54 | 0:17:57
That was definitely the best shopping trip ever. | 0:17:57 | 0:18:00
Looking good. And it actually didn't cost that much either. | 0:18:00 | 0:18:04
Well done, Georgia. Style Download complete. | 0:18:04 | 0:18:07
Hello. Welcome to this week's Games Download. | 0:18:09 | 0:18:12
I'm with Ceal and Aidan. We're showing you cool games and gadgets. | 0:18:12 | 0:18:16
First up, we've got Cars 2, The Game, which is out today, | 0:18:16 | 0:18:19
across all consoles. | 0:18:19 | 0:18:21
Ceal and I were lucky enough to go and see the film a few weeks ago, | 0:18:21 | 0:18:24
so now we're going to see how the game compares. | 0:18:24 | 0:18:27
Ceal, can you stand up a second and take a remote control. | 0:18:27 | 0:18:32
I'll take one of these. | 0:18:32 | 0:18:34
OK. So, if you just flick through these races. | 0:18:34 | 0:18:37
Now, if you notice - me and Ceal will know - | 0:18:37 | 0:18:41
-that these are scenes from the film. -I saw that in the airport one. | 0:18:41 | 0:18:46
Basically, the game is revolved around driving and racing, | 0:18:46 | 0:18:49
but also being a spy. There's lots of training missions to do. | 0:18:49 | 0:18:53
-Let's have a go at a race. -Which... -Go on that one. -This one? | 0:18:53 | 0:18:57
You've got to bear in mind - should I go for speed or power? | 0:18:57 | 0:19:01
-Speed all the way! -Look, it's got cool eyes. | 0:19:01 | 0:19:03
I'm not... Compared to the film, probably because I've seen the film, | 0:19:03 | 0:19:08
I'm not particularly amazed. I think it looks a bit... | 0:19:08 | 0:19:11
I don't think the graphics are that good. | 0:19:11 | 0:19:13
Compared to the film, which was beautiful. | 0:19:13 | 0:19:15
It looks a bit... Lightning McQueen's going backwards. | 0:19:15 | 0:19:18
-Who's top screen, who's bottom? -I'm bottom screen. | 0:19:18 | 0:19:21
-I'm quite annoyed at this. What's "boost"? -Square. | 0:19:21 | 0:19:26
-Oh, yes, boosting helps. -Shortcut on the right! | 0:19:26 | 0:19:29
You could've told me earlier. | 0:19:29 | 0:19:30
Ceal, you've got a lot of boost which you're not using. | 0:19:30 | 0:19:34
He's saving it - what all the best racers do. | 0:19:34 | 0:19:37
I'm right near you, mate. | 0:19:37 | 0:19:39
Oh, no! So annoying. No! | 0:19:39 | 0:19:41
Shush! | 0:19:41 | 0:19:42
-I can do it. -You can do it. | 0:19:42 | 0:19:44
Is he going to... Oh, so close! | 0:19:44 | 0:19:47
-That was almost a photo finish. -I've got past... | 0:19:47 | 0:19:50
-Look! -No, seventh. | 0:19:50 | 0:19:53
-Do you know what it was? -Look, 10 session points earned. -Right. | 0:19:53 | 0:19:57
What do you guys think? | 0:19:57 | 0:19:58
The graphics weren't great. | 0:19:58 | 0:20:00
I couldn't see myself on it for an hour. | 0:20:00 | 0:20:03
No, but that was one of the race bits. | 0:20:03 | 0:20:06
The story mode is made up of lots of races and other exercises | 0:20:06 | 0:20:10
-which involve you progressing in the world of spying... -Ah! -I see. | 0:20:10 | 0:20:16
-All becomes clear. -It does. So, anyway, that was Cars 2, The Game. | 0:20:16 | 0:20:20
-So, um, right, it's summer time now. -Summer is here. | 0:20:20 | 0:20:23
Who likes water fights? | 0:20:23 | 0:20:25
Everyone likes a good water fight. | 0:20:25 | 0:20:28
OK. So, basically, Super Soaker, the water pistol makers, | 0:20:28 | 0:20:33
have come up with a new range for the summer. | 0:20:33 | 0:20:35
They've changed the design, made them blue, orange and white... | 0:20:35 | 0:20:39
This is us... | 0:20:39 | 0:20:42
MUSIC: Theme to "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly" | 0:20:42 | 0:20:45
So, right now... | 0:20:45 | 0:20:47
Look, I'm in control now. | 0:20:47 | 0:20:49
Look at him! Absolutely drenching him. | 0:20:49 | 0:20:51
-Aw, that is... -We got quite cold. | 0:20:51 | 0:20:54
-That's this one. This one's battery powered. -Ooh. | 0:20:54 | 0:20:57
It's the first ever battery-powered Super Soaker | 0:20:57 | 0:21:01
and there's no pumping, or anything, required. | 0:21:01 | 0:21:03
An aspect of the water fight that made it a bit easier for both of us | 0:21:03 | 0:21:06
is we can reload our water pistols with clips, rather than manually, | 0:21:06 | 0:21:11
-and reload whenever you want. -Lock-and-load ones to feel cool. | 0:21:11 | 0:21:15
Oh, yes. I'm having this one. | 0:21:15 | 0:21:17
-OK. That one, you pump it... -THEY LAUGH | 0:21:17 | 0:21:21
..and it shoots. | 0:21:21 | 0:21:22
That one, you pump it and it shoots. This one comes out in a swirl. | 0:21:22 | 0:21:26
I'll show you. | 0:21:26 | 0:21:27
That goes up to 25 feet, | 0:21:27 | 0:21:31
that's got the furthest range, | 0:21:31 | 0:21:34
and Ceal, get that one... | 0:21:34 | 0:21:36
This is the pistol. This is what I like to keep in my belt. | 0:21:36 | 0:21:39
-Can I shoot this one? -Yeah. | 0:21:39 | 0:21:41
Oh, yeah. | 0:21:41 | 0:21:43
Let's see how wet we've got at the end. | 0:21:43 | 0:21:46
Wow. | 0:21:46 | 0:21:48 | |
AUDIENCE LAUGHS | 0:21:48 | 0:21:50
-Ooh! I never noticed this bit. Hello! -You didn't tell me... | 0:21:50 | 0:21:53
Let's be honest - that's not going to do anything. | 0:21:53 | 0:21:56
It is... | 0:21:56 | 0:21:58
So that's the new summer Super Soaker range. | 0:21:58 | 0:22:00
Now, it's time for Tyger Versus, | 0:22:00 | 0:22:04
and for that, we're going to need Dionne and Richard...everyone. | 0:22:04 | 0:22:07
CHEERING AND APPLAUSE | 0:22:07 | 0:22:10
OK, it's 5-6 at the moment and we've got... | 0:22:12 | 0:22:15
-To us! -5-6 to them, and we've got two Tyger Versus left, | 0:22:15 | 0:22:19
-so I need to win this one... -What happens if you don't win? | 0:22:19 | 0:22:23
Otherwise, you guys will win Tyger Versus. | 0:22:23 | 0:22:25
Just to clarify - I beat Tyger last week. | 0:22:25 | 0:22:28
Who am I going to be against? | 0:22:28 | 0:22:31
So nervous. | 0:22:31 | 0:22:32
I am actually really nervous. | 0:22:32 | 0:22:34
Oh, look! | 0:22:34 | 0:22:36
-It's Richard. -Wait, wait... | 0:22:36 | 0:22:38
Tactics. | 0:22:38 | 0:22:40
-Are they allowed to talk tactics? -I'm not good at these games. | 0:22:40 | 0:22:44
-Come on. -They're just chopping down a tree. | 0:22:44 | 0:22:47
Faster, faster. | 0:22:47 | 0:22:48
-Don't do that... -Go! | 0:22:48 | 0:22:50
-Let's go. -OK. | 0:22:50 | 0:22:52
We've got our tactics together. | 0:22:52 | 0:22:54
This is what it is - speed and strength. | 0:22:54 | 0:22:58
-Three...two... -Come on, Richard. Fast. | 0:22:58 | 0:23:01
-Go, go, go, go. -Richard, go! | 0:23:01 | 0:23:03
That's it! | 0:23:03 | 0:23:05
Richard, go on! | 0:23:05 | 0:23:07
I told you! | 0:23:07 | 0:23:09
Bigger! Bigger! | 0:23:09 | 0:23:10
That's it! Faster! | 0:23:10 | 0:23:12
Faster! That's it. | 0:23:12 | 0:23:14
That's it. Bigger! Bigger! Bigger! | 0:23:14 | 0:23:17
Bigger! Bigger! | 0:23:17 | 0:23:19
Faster! Bigger! Faster! | 0:23:19 | 0:23:21
Yes! | 0:23:24 | 0:23:26 | |
Ye-e-e-es! | 0:23:26 | 0:23:27
Yes! | 0:23:27 | 0:23:29 | |
-Four times you've lost! -I told you - I'm no good at it. | 0:23:29 | 0:23:34
We gathered(!) | 0:23:34 | 0:23:35
-Oh! -Get off, Richard. | 0:23:35 | 0:23:38
So that means it's 6-6 in Tyger Versus, so it's all to play for | 0:23:38 | 0:23:42
in the last show of the series. | 0:23:42 | 0:23:44
That's Games Download complete. | 0:23:44 | 0:23:46
CHEERING AND APPLAUSE | 0:23:46 | 0:23:48
-Still to come... -# We just keep going round again. # | 0:23:48 | 0:23:52
-That was mine! -Yours? Back down, that's mine! | 0:23:52 | 0:23:56

# Down...down...down... # | 0:26:20 | 0:26:23
It looks like a squeeze, you both being in that T-shirt, girls. | 0:26:25 | 0:26:28

It's the time in the show where we get to look at people falling over | 0:26:33 | 0:26:37
and laugh at them, as we always do. Today, it is Total Wipeout. | 0:26:37 | 0:26:40
-Do you reckon it'll be the big red balls? -Shall we find out? | 0:26:40 | 0:26:44
'Here are the final six.' | 0:26:44 | 0:26:46
BOYS IN STUDIO GASP | 0:26:46 | 0:26:49
-Four in a row. -Oh, wow. | 0:26:52 | 0:26:54
That one kicked that... | 0:26:54 | 0:26:57
LAUGHTER | 0:26:57 | 0:27:00
-She didn't attempt it. -Four in a row. -She had loads of time to prepare. | 0:27:00 | 0:27:04
She just failed. | 0:27:04 | 0:27:05
Imagine what'd be going through your mind as you'd been hit | 0:27:05 | 0:27:08
and you're flying through the air. | 0:27:08 | 0:27:10
-I'd be mad at the person who took me out. -Same. | 0:27:10 | 0:27:13
Well, anyway, that was hilarious, cos they all fell over. | 0:27:13 | 0:27:17
That is Fell Download complete. | 0:27:17 | 0:27:19
CHEERING AND APPLAUSE | 0:27:19 | 0:27:22
Welcome to Hot Or Not. | 0:27:23 | 0:27:25
In this part of the show we take different topics | 0:27:25 | 0:27:28
and we discuss whether they are hot or not. | 0:27:28 | 0:27:30
That side is sizzling hot, and this side is lukewarm hot. | 0:27:30 | 0:27:34
-Not very hot. -It's not. | 0:27:34 | 0:27:36
So, mine is baths. | 0:27:36 | 0:27:38
-I had a bath last night. -I like baths. | 0:27:38 | 0:27:40
I love baths. | 0:27:40 | 0:27:42
-Oh, right. -Bath? -Bath. -How do you say it? -Bath. | 0:27:42 | 0:27:46
-I love chilling in the bath with... I don't really have... -Music? | 0:27:46 | 0:27:49
-Yeah. I have my laptop in there. -I've got a TV in my bathroom. | 0:27:49 | 0:27:52
We've got a mirror that when you turn it on, it turns into a TV. | 0:27:52 | 0:27:56
I have a bath which, when you press a button, | 0:27:56 | 0:27:58
plays me sweet music. | 0:27:58 | 0:28:00
I have a bath where you turn the thing for the hot and cold taps, | 0:28:00 | 0:28:04
-put the plug in, wait ten minutes then sit in it. -That's like my bath! | 0:28:04 | 0:28:07
OK. So this is definitely hot? | 0:28:07 | 0:28:08
-Yeah. -Who's next? -Me. | 0:28:08 | 0:28:11
-My hot honour is baked beans. -Oh, I love baked beans. | 0:28:11 | 0:28:15
-Baked beans on toast. -Baked beans are good for your heart | 0:28:15 | 0:28:18
-The more you eat, the more you... -Fart. | 0:28:18 | 0:28:20
-That's good, coming from him. -I'm JUST going into liking them. | 0:28:20 | 0:28:25
-I'm in the phase of turning to liking them. -Why are you not hot? | 0:28:25 | 0:28:28
-I haven't liked them for 14 years. -Why? -You say it like you're 20! | 0:28:28 | 0:28:32
-I'm 14. -"I've liked them for five years..." | 0:28:32 | 0:28:36
"Most of my life I didn't like baked beans. | 0:28:36 | 0:28:38
-"I came across them and they changed my life." -You sound Australian! | 0:28:38 | 0:28:41
I came across baked beans with barbecue sauce in. | 0:28:41 | 0:28:45
-It completely changed my life. -Was it nice? -Yes! | 0:28:45 | 0:28:49
The barbecue beans! I know what you're on about. Sprinkled cheese... | 0:28:49 | 0:28:52
-Oh, no! -Whenever you look like you're getting yourself baked beans, | 0:28:52 | 0:28:56
even before you heat them up, you have a spoonful cold. | 0:28:56 | 0:29:01
-Ohhh! -Oh, no! Seriously? It's hot. All right, who's next? -You. -Me? | 0:29:01 | 0:29:06
-Keeping a diary. -No! | 0:29:06 | 0:29:09
-No! -No. | 0:29:09 | 0:29:11
-The only time I've ever kept a diary... -More girls do it. | 0:29:11 | 0:29:14
-Do you have a diary? -Yeah, I do. | 0:29:14 | 0:29:17
-Do you have a key? -Do you put, like, "Dear diary, today..." -No. | 0:29:17 | 0:29:21
-"Dear diary..." -No. When I was younger, though - | 0:29:21 | 0:29:23
I don't know if any other girls had it - | 0:29:23 | 0:29:25
-but do you remember that invisible pen? -The invisible pen?! | 0:29:25 | 0:29:29
Yeah, I had one of them. | 0:29:29 | 0:29:30
Cos you used to think that everyone wanted to read your diary. | 0:29:30 | 0:29:34
I'll tell you what annoys me. If I start a diary, | 0:29:34 | 0:29:37
if I don't do it the day after, that's it. | 0:29:37 | 0:29:39
-I'm not doing it again because I've missed a day. -True. | 0:29:39 | 0:29:43
-Anyway, it's not hot. -Yeah. | 0:29:43 | 0:29:45
-So, my hot or not is... exclamation marks. -Yeah. | 0:29:45 | 0:29:49
Oh, all the time. | 0:29:49 | 0:29:51
Because if you're sending an e-mail or a text... | 0:29:51 | 0:29:55
or a text message, sometimes you have to put an exclamation mark... | 0:29:55 | 0:30:00
-Yeah. -..or a question mark to get the point across. | 0:30:00 | 0:30:03
Not an exclamation mark. | 0:30:03 | 0:30:05
-I do, I do it a lot. -So if someone sends it to me and they say, "Yeah!" | 0:30:05 | 0:30:09
I think of them saying, "YEAH!" Having a go and I'm like, | 0:30:09 | 0:30:12
"So you want to start an argument?" | 0:30:12 | 0:30:14
I just don't like them. I just... | 0:30:14 | 0:30:17
-You've got a very valid reason. -Do you not like the fact that | 0:30:17 | 0:30:20
they look like someone turned around an i? | 0:30:20 | 0:30:22
LAUGHTER Thank you. | 0:30:22 | 0:30:24
-I've never really used them. -Yeah, you do. -You must have. | 0:30:24 | 0:30:27
Right. Anyway, so that's hot. | 0:30:27 | 0:30:31
-My Hot Or Not is catchphrases. -Yes! | 0:30:31 | 0:30:35
They're cool-ish. I used to like the TV show Catchphrase. | 0:30:35 | 0:30:38
So, has anyone got a catchphrase? | 0:30:38 | 0:30:40
I don't know, I have a lot of things that I say, | 0:30:40 | 0:30:43
-but I don't really know when I say... -I've got one. | 0:30:43 | 0:30:46
Yeah, I have but I don't know whose it is because everyone made it up. | 0:30:46 | 0:30:50
-"After your homework." -That was mine! -Yours?! | 0:30:50 | 0:30:53
-Back down! That's mine! -I thought I started it. | 0:30:53 | 0:30:57
-Is that actually a catchphrase? -We've turned it into one. | 0:30:57 | 0:31:00
I don't think that's a catchphrase. | 0:31:00 | 0:31:02
Aidan... | 0:31:02 | 0:31:04
Seriously, it was my thing. You took it off me the first show. | 0:31:04 | 0:31:07
I say it, it was mine. It so was. | 0:31:07 | 0:31:11
-Have you got one, Dionne? -I feel quite strongly. | 0:31:11 | 0:31:14
-It is mine. -All right, babe. | 0:31:14 | 0:31:15
I think not, because I think they're a bit...cheesy sort of. | 0:31:15 | 0:31:20
So...catchphrases are hot then? | 0:31:20 | 0:31:23
Yes, definitely hot. Right, as you can see, because we can't see her, | 0:31:23 | 0:31:27
Georgia is not here, but she has got a hot one up for us. Let's see. | 0:31:27 | 0:31:30
-Hello, Georgia. -Hey, guys. | 0:31:30 | 0:31:32
My Hot Or Not is polo neck jumpers, so what do you all think? | 0:31:32 | 0:31:35
-They're not hot. -Polo neck jumpers. -I reckon they're hot. | 0:31:35 | 0:31:38
-I think they're quite hot. -Can someone explain this for a second? | 0:31:38 | 0:31:42
-A polo neck goes right up to here. -Ah! Not hot, that's horrible. | 0:31:42 | 0:31:46
-I don't know. -I'm on hot, like, I'm feeling that. | 0:31:48 | 0:31:52
-We'll act it out. -Scene, scene. -Oh, OK. | 0:31:52 | 0:31:55
Here's the scene, I've got one already. I'm just walking, casually. | 0:31:55 | 0:31:59
-Richard walks in his polo neck jumper. -I don't like it, mate. | 0:31:59 | 0:32:02
-Why do you not like my jumper? -I've never seen one of them before. -See. | 0:32:02 | 0:32:06
Good scene, good scene. BAFTA, BAFTA. | 0:32:06 | 0:32:09
So, I used to wear it, but now it's out of fashion... | 0:32:09 | 0:32:12
-Did Georgia have a decision on this? -Georgia, do you have a decision? | 0:32:12 | 0:32:16
Polo neck jumpers is definitely...not hot. | 0:32:16 | 0:32:18
They're not hot because...you can always feel it round your neck | 0:32:18 | 0:32:23
and even when you take it off, you can still feel it there. | 0:32:23 | 0:32:26
-You feel like you can't breathe. -True. It's itchy. | 0:32:26 | 0:32:29
Well, on that note, Tyger... | 0:32:29 | 0:32:31
# All by yourself... # KLAXON | 0:32:31 | 0:32:35
-Saved by the klaxon. -That is the klaxon. | 0:32:35 | 0:32:38
That's the end of Hot Or Not. | 0:32:38 | 0:32:40
We're back again with Weekend Download. Now... | 0:32:42 | 0:32:46
you probably know what we're going to do, but take a look anyway. | 0:32:46 | 0:32:49
Hi, my name's Ben, I'm 17 and I'm a drummer. | 0:32:49 | 0:32:51
I got drums seven years ago and after being first introduced | 0:32:59 | 0:33:03
by one of my mother's friends. | 0:33:03 | 0:33:04
I find myself drumming everywhere, | 0:33:05 | 0:33:07
with my hands, on the table at school, | 0:33:07 | 0:33:10
kitchen sink while doing the washing up, on pots and pans, | 0:33:10 | 0:33:13
on the sofa - everywhere. | 0:33:13 | 0:33:15
'Feel that crazy beat.' | 0:33:15 | 0:33:17
A drum kit consists of - | 0:33:22 | 0:33:24
a big one in the middle, a bass drum, | 0:33:24 | 0:33:26
the one in front of me, the snare drum, | 0:33:26 | 0:33:28
three tom-toms, one, two, three, | 0:33:28 | 0:33:30
a crash cymbal, a ride cymbal, hi-hat, | 0:33:30 | 0:33:34
an extra snare to my left, | 0:33:34 | 0:33:35
two rack toms in front of me, | 0:33:35 | 0:33:37
three pedals for my left foot, | 0:33:37 | 0:33:39
and one pedal for my right foot. | 0:33:39 | 0:33:42
Obviously my kit has a lot of different instruments to it, | 0:33:42 | 0:33:45
so for a beginner, it's quite important to start off with | 0:33:45 | 0:33:48
a more simpler kit. | 0:33:48 | 0:33:50
There are a places you can play without having to have your own kit, | 0:33:50 | 0:33:53
like community centres, schools, colleges, individual drum lessons | 0:33:53 | 0:33:58
that you can find personal tutors for, | 0:33:58 | 0:34:00
or you can even play on your sofa, which is what I did. | 0:34:00 | 0:34:04
There are lots of famous drummers | 0:34:08 | 0:34:10
and they do have very distinct fashion styles. | 0:34:10 | 0:34:13
But I'm not into all of that. | 0:34:18 | 0:34:20
The most vital piece of equipment to get when learning the drums | 0:34:20 | 0:34:22
is a set of ear plugs. | 0:34:22 | 0:34:24
Drumming is so loud and we need to protect our ears. | 0:34:27 | 0:34:30
Anybody can take up the drums, anyone of any age. | 0:34:33 | 0:34:36
If you find yourself tapping away all the time, give it a go | 0:34:36 | 0:34:39
and it's also important that you have a love of music. | 0:34:39 | 0:34:41
Get yourself a pair of sticks and start with some basic rhythms. | 0:34:41 | 0:34:44
The first thing any drummer should learn to do | 0:34:46 | 0:34:48
is how to hold the sticks. | 0:34:48 | 0:34:50
Place a stick in your hand with the bottom of the stick | 0:34:52 | 0:34:55
going through the centre of the bottom of your palm, | 0:34:55 | 0:34:58
overlapping your wrist. | 0:34:58 | 0:34:59
Now grasp the stick with your thumb, index and middle finger. | 0:35:03 | 0:35:07
This is where the power of the stroke will come from. | 0:35:08 | 0:35:10
With the remaining two fingers of your hand, | 0:35:10 | 0:35:13
just clasp the stick very gently. | 0:35:13 | 0:35:16
Now turn the stick over, so your palm is facing the floor. | 0:35:17 | 0:35:21
Then practise air-drumming, moving the wrist up and down | 0:35:22 | 0:35:25
just as you would playing the drums. | 0:35:25 | 0:35:27
Once you've mastered the very basics of drumming, | 0:35:28 | 0:35:31
you can begin to learn the starting techniques. | 0:35:31 | 0:35:33
The technique I'm going to teach you is the rock groove, | 0:35:33 | 0:35:36
because it's the most popular drum groove out there | 0:35:36 | 0:35:39
and it's used in thousands of songs. | 0:35:39 | 0:35:40
You get your right hand and place it on the hi-hat to your left. | 0:35:42 | 0:35:45
And you play consistent notes on the count to four. | 0:35:48 | 0:35:51
You're not going to add the bass drum, | 0:35:59 | 0:36:01
which you'll do with your right foot. | 0:36:01 | 0:36:03
With the four notes you've already got going on your hi-hat | 0:36:03 | 0:36:05
with your right hand, you're going to add the bass drum to beat one, | 0:36:05 | 0:36:08
and beat three, so it's going to sound like this - | 0:36:08 | 0:36:12
bass drum and the hi-hat, hi-hat on its own. | 0:36:12 | 0:36:14
Bass drum and hi-hat, hi-hat on its own | 0:36:14 | 0:36:17
and that'll make up your four beats that you already have. | 0:36:17 | 0:36:20
It's very important to play the bass drum and the hi-hat | 0:36:20 | 0:36:23
at exactly the same time. | 0:36:23 | 0:36:24
You're now going to add the snare drum, utilising your left hand. | 0:36:32 | 0:36:35
With the four beats you've already got, | 0:36:35 | 0:36:37
you're going to add the snare drum to beat two and beat four, | 0:36:37 | 0:36:41
so it's going to sound like this - | 0:36:41 | 0:36:42
bass drum and hi-hat | 0:36:42 | 0:36:44
snare drum and hi-hat. | 0:36:44 | 0:36:46
Bass drum and hi-hat, snare drum and hi-hat. | 0:36:46 | 0:36:49
When you've got this, repeat it twice and you'll have your rock groove. | 0:36:49 | 0:36:53
The biggest highlight of my drumming career so far | 0:36:58 | 0:37:01
was winning the 2010 Young Drummer of the Year. | 0:37:01 | 0:37:03
I loved meeting the other contestants | 0:37:03 | 0:37:05
and the judges consisted of the best drummers in the world. | 0:37:05 | 0:37:09
Ben, that was very impressive, but I want to see it live, | 0:37:09 | 0:37:13
show us what you can do. | 0:37:13 | 0:37:15
CHEERING AND APPLAUSE | 0:37:28 | 0:37:29
-Wow. That was fast. -Yeah! | 0:37:31 | 0:37:33
So, I want to learn to play drums, what's the first step? | 0:37:33 | 0:37:37
The first step is, as you probably saw in that video, | 0:37:37 | 0:37:40
-is the rock groove. -Ohhh. | 0:37:40 | 0:37:42
-How's your rhythm? -It's all right. Shall we try it? | 0:37:42 | 0:37:46
-Yeah, let's try it. -All right. Wicked. -Cool. | 0:37:46 | 0:37:50
So... | 0:37:50 | 0:37:52 | |
-That's cool. -One and three, yeah? | 0:37:55 | 0:37:57
Yeah, one and three, so you get bass drum, hi... | 0:37:57 | 0:37:59
So it goes... | 0:37:59 | 0:38:00
Just keep playing that over and when you've got it comfortable, | 0:38:05 | 0:38:08
add the snare drum. There you go. | 0:38:08 | 0:38:11
You've added the hi-hat, it sounds cool, | 0:38:11 | 0:38:14
but you're pretty much there. CHEERING AND APPLAUSE | 0:38:14 | 0:38:17
Wait. | 0:38:18 | 0:38:20 | |
-Yeah. -Yeah? -CHEERING AND APPLAUSE | 0:38:24 | 0:38:27
Wicked. Cheers, Ben. | 0:38:27 | 0:38:28
Now, I've got another presenter on the show called Tyger. | 0:38:28 | 0:38:32
He can play drums, so can we get Tyger in? | 0:38:32 | 0:38:35
Tyger, I'm going to leave you two, | 0:38:37 | 0:38:39
because you've got funky hairstyles, | 0:38:39 | 0:38:41
-I think that's what it is. -It's the big hair. | 0:38:41 | 0:38:45
-Do you think I can play drums now? -Yeah. | 0:38:45 | 0:38:47
-You set the bar very high. -I know. | 0:38:48 | 0:38:51
-Yeah! -Wow! | 0:39:00 | 0:39:02
Yeah, no, you're nearly as good as me. | 0:39:04 | 0:39:07
LAUGHTER | 0:39:07 | 0:39:08
-How do I do that twirly thing? -The twirly thing. | 0:39:08 | 0:39:11
It's kind of a rock star thing. If you get your middle finger | 0:39:11 | 0:39:15
and index finger, and you kind of place them like this | 0:39:15 | 0:39:19
and you place the stick in between them. | 0:39:19 | 0:39:21
Oh, I've seen this one actually. | 0:39:21 | 0:39:22
It's a fake trick, because you're not actually spinning it | 0:39:22 | 0:39:26
in between your fingers or anything. | 0:39:26 | 0:39:28
It spins like this, so it's not doing anything complicated. | 0:39:28 | 0:39:32
So, yeah, if you just kind of get the almost walking motion... | 0:39:32 | 0:39:36
Yeah. | 0:39:36 | 0:39:37 | |
Oh, there's another one where it's just like this. | 0:39:37 | 0:39:40
Show us what you can do... Oh, right. | 0:39:40 | 0:39:43
I think it's the funky hairstyle that did it. Anyway, thanks, Ben, | 0:39:45 | 0:39:48
for teaching us. Tyger, I think you need a bit more practise before | 0:39:48 | 0:39:52
you get to my level. | 0:39:52 | 0:39:54
That is Weekend Download complete. | 0:39:54 | 0:39:57
CHEERING AND APPLAUSE | 0:39:57 | 0:39:58
Now it's time for Just For Laughs. | 0:40:01 | 0:40:03
Today, I'm going to teach you a little trick. | 0:40:03 | 0:40:06
Ooohhh. | 0:40:06 | 0:40:07
-Did it look like I was levitating? -ALL: Yes! | 0:40:12 | 0:40:15
If you don't know what levitating is, it's when you float in the air, | 0:40:15 | 0:40:19
nothing underneath you, it's quite cool. | 0:40:19 | 0:40:21
You've got to get the perfect angle. Say someone is standing there, | 0:40:21 | 0:40:25
you turn your back slightly and you're just going to go... | 0:40:25 | 0:40:28
Oohhh! | 0:40:28 | 0:40:32
And then drop down really hard. | 0:40:32 | 0:40:34
The way you do this is you stand, not fully to the back, | 0:40:34 | 0:40:37
but at a 45-degree angle. You're going to lift | 0:40:37 | 0:40:39
this foot completely off the floor, | 0:40:39 | 0:40:42
but while you're doing it, you tip-toe on this foot | 0:40:42 | 0:40:45
and you move your arms a bit, so it looks like your floating. | 0:40:45 | 0:40:48
When it comes all together, it looks like this. | 0:40:48 | 0:40:51
That is Just For Laughs Download complete. | 0:40:54 | 0:40:57
Now it's the Music Download. | 0:41:01 | 0:41:03
My first pick is JLS featuring Dev and it's She Makes Me Wanna. | 0:41:03 | 0:41:07
It's their latest single from their third album. | 0:41:07 | 0:41:10
Did you know Aston had one sister and five brothers? | 0:41:10 | 0:41:14
I know, right? The video is really cool too. I wish I was there. | 0:41:14 | 0:41:17
Let's have a look. | 0:41:17 | 0:41:19
# Direct me to the floor And turn it up some more | 0:41:19 | 0:41:23
# I'm a get it on, on, on, on | 0:41:23 | 0:41:26
# Direct me to the floor And turn it up some more | 0:41:26 | 0:41:30
# I'm a get it on, on, on, on | 0:41:30 | 0:41:34
# She makes me wanna Oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh | 0:41:34 | 0:41:38
# Makes me wanna Oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh | 0:41:38 | 0:41:42
# She makes me wanna Oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh | 0:41:42 | 0:41:46
# Makes me wanna Oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh | 0:41:46 | 0:41:49
# London to Jamaica LA to Africa | 0:41:50 | 0:41:57
# She makes me wanna Oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh | 0:41:57 | 0:42:01
# Makes me wanna Oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh... # | 0:42:01 | 0:42:04
Now, my next pick is Sound Of Arrows with M.A.G.I.C., which is magic. | 0:42:04 | 0:42:10
You might not know this band, | 0:42:10 | 0:42:11
but they're really unique and really good. | 0:42:11 | 0:42:14
In the video, you actually see two little Spanish kids | 0:42:14 | 0:42:16
in a world of their own, literally. | 0:42:16 | 0:42:19
You'll understand when you look at the video. | 0:42:19 | 0:42:21
# M-A-G-I-C... # | 0:42:47 | 0:42:49
How cute was that monster?! | 0:42:57 | 0:42:58
Now, this pick is an exciting pick. It's actually Britney Spears, | 0:42:58 | 0:43:01
with I Wanna Go. It's really good. | 0:43:01 | 0:43:04
And the guy who wrote this single | 0:43:04 | 0:43:06
was actually the guy who wrote her first ever single 14 years ago. | 0:43:06 | 0:43:10
I was only one then. But it's brilliant. | 0:43:10 | 0:43:12
Let's have a look at the video. | 0:43:12 | 0:43:14
# Shame on me | 0:43:14 | 0:43:15
# To need release | 0:43:17 | 0:43:19
# Uncontrollably | 0:43:21 | 0:43:23
# I wanna go-oh-oh all the way-ay-ay | 0:43:28 | 0:43:31
# Taking out my freak tonight | 0:43:31 | 0:43:35
# I wanna show-ow-ow all the dirt | 0:43:35 | 0:43:39
# I got running through my mind... # | 0:43:39 | 0:43:45
Love that track. Now, my final pick is Encore with Tit For Tat. | 0:43:45 | 0:43:49
It's the second single from the guys. | 0:43:49 | 0:43:51
If you watched our first show, you would have seen we featured them | 0:43:51 | 0:43:54
with their debut single. The song is amazing. | 0:43:54 | 0:43:57
And the guys are here to perform for us. | 0:43:57 | 0:43:59
So, everybody give it up for Encore! | 0:43:59 | 0:44:01
CHEERING | 0:44:01 | 0:44:04

Welcome to Movie Download, where I'll tell you what movies | 0:47:56 | 0:47:59
you should see at the cinema, on DVD and on your TV screens. | 0:47:59 | 0:48:03
We have now got One Life. This film has taken four years to make, | 0:48:03 | 0:48:08

Georgia is still away filming Sadie J but I hope all is going well | 0:51:40 | 0:51:44

How's it going, Georgia? Over to you. | 0:51:47 | 0:51:49
Thank you, Ceal. I'm fine, thanks. | 0:51:49 | 0:51:51
Never one to shy away from my Friday Download duty, | 0:51:51 | 0:51:54
I've got some great movie mistakes for you now. Here they are. | 0:51:54 | 0:51:58
First up this week is Twilight: New Moon. | 0:51:59 | 0:52:01
The second film from the popular series, | 0:52:01 | 0:52:03
in which Bella Swan moves to the little town of Forks, Washington, | 0:52:03 | 0:52:07
where she meets, and falls in love with, Vampire Edward Cullen. | 0:52:07 | 0:52:10
Here, Bella and Alice are rushing through the streets of Italy | 0:52:10 | 0:52:14
to meet Edward. | 0:52:14 | 0:52:15
Watch them as they park up, and see if you can spot the error. | 0:52:15 | 0:52:18
-Alice! -Bella, you're the only one he can't see coming. | 0:52:20 | 0:52:23
-If I go, he'll read my thoughts and rush into it. -Where do I go? | 0:52:23 | 0:52:28
He'll be under the clock tower. Go! | 0:52:28 | 0:52:30
Any luck? Let's have another look. | 0:52:31 | 0:52:34
As Bella talks with Alice, she's standing inside the car door | 0:52:37 | 0:52:41
with the door behind her. Can you see that? | 0:52:41 | 0:52:45
But in the very next shot, Bella hasn't moved, | 0:52:45 | 0:52:48
but is now standing outside the car door, with the door in front of her. | 0:52:48 | 0:52:52
Here she is inside the door. | 0:52:57 | 0:52:59
Here she is outside it. | 0:52:59 | 0:53:02
Now the door's behind her. | 0:53:02 | 0:53:04
Now it's in front of her. | 0:53:05 | 0:53:06
You can run, Bella, but you can't hide from that silly slip-up. | 0:53:06 | 0:53:11
Dylan doesn't really care for rough play. | 0:53:11 | 0:53:14
A few weeks ago, Ceal suggested you watch Cheaper By The Dozen, | 0:53:16 | 0:53:20
which was being shown on TV. How closely were you watching? | 0:53:20 | 0:53:24
Save my baby! | 0:53:24 | 0:53:26
In this film, Tom and Kate Baker have 12 children - yes, 12! | 0:53:26 | 0:53:31
Imagine the bathroom queue! | 0:53:31 | 0:53:33
Watch this again. As the family move into their new house, | 0:53:33 | 0:53:36
see if you can spot something that shouldn't be there. | 0:53:36 | 0:53:39
Ho ho! | 0:53:39 | 0:53:40 | |
So, Dylan, know any good restaurants? | 0:53:40 | 0:53:42
You can let go, Dylan, I think she's got you. | 0:53:50 | 0:53:52
Did you see it? | 0:53:54 | 0:53:56
Let us show you. | 0:53:56 | 0:53:58
As Tom swings from the chandelier, you can clearly see | 0:53:59 | 0:54:03
a big microphone on a pole that's being used to record the sound. | 0:54:03 | 0:54:07
And look, there's the sound man holding it. Shall we look again? | 0:54:07 | 0:54:11
There it is. I bet the sound man got into trouble for that one. | 0:54:14 | 0:54:18
Now let's look at a scene near the end of the film. | 0:54:20 | 0:54:23
Earlier, Mark, the Bakers' seventh child, ran away from home, | 0:54:23 | 0:54:28
and here we see him reunited with his family. | 0:54:28 | 0:54:31
As he runs up to hug his mother, | 0:54:31 | 0:54:33
keep a close eye out for a second movie mix-up. | 0:54:33 | 0:54:37
Mom! | 0:54:40 | 0:54:41 | |
Oh, we missed you, sweetheart. | 0:54:46 | 0:54:49
Do that again, I'm going to have to pound you. | 0:54:49 | 0:54:52
Did you catch that one? | 0:54:52 | 0:54:54
Let's rewind. | 0:54:54 | 0:54:55
As Mark hugs his mum, you can see | 0:54:57 | 0:54:59
her sunglasses fall down the back of her head. | 0:54:59 | 0:55:02
Here they are on the back of her neck. | 0:55:04 | 0:55:06
But the very next moment, they are comfortably back on her head. | 0:55:06 | 0:55:10
Have another look in slow motion. | 0:55:10 | 0:55:13
Watch them fall. | 0:55:13 | 0:55:15
And now they're back. | 0:55:17 | 0:55:18
Down they go. | 0:55:20 | 0:55:23
And back up again. | 0:55:23 | 0:55:24
Bungee glasses? That's a good invention. | 0:55:24 | 0:55:27
I'll have to let Tyger know about that one. | 0:55:27 | 0:55:30
They just keep getting better. | 0:55:30 | 0:55:32
Or should that be worse? Back to you, Ceallach. Miss you. | 0:55:32 | 0:55:36
