Here we are with a brand new series.

I know you find it hard going back to school after the holidays - we do!

But we're back with a brand new series to liven up your Friday.

Right. So, it is the new year, guys,

and the new year means lots of new year's resolutions.

We hope you've all made yours. We have made ours.

Mine is to buy less shoes.

This actually is my shoe collection and I gave some of them away,

and kind of almost that plus an extra half

of it is now what I have at the moment.

That's more shoes than me and Georgia put together!

OK, so my new year's resolution is to tidy my room,

cos my room often a mess.

-It's lime green!

-Is your wall green?

-My whole bedroom's green.

-Do you want to swap? Give me your wallpaper.

-Do you want to come over sometime?

-Good new year's resolution, mate.

-I'll keep it tidy, I will.

OK, my new year's resolution is to eat less chocolate,

cos I eat tonnes, it's ridiculous.

Oh, yeah, today though - just a little example.

Two chocolate bars on the go there.

-I've never seen you eat much chocolate.

-Have you not? I eat loads!

-What's the most you've eaten?

-In one day?

-Yeah. Roughly.

-Give me an average.

-In grammes.

-It's not, like... Maybe five?

-Five?!

-But in a day...

-That's just to get you started!

But in a day, though, and they're like, that big.

Mine is a bit similar but I haven't got anywhere near -

it's hats, I've got to stop buying them.

It's only a few there. I've actually run out of hands!

-I've got to stack them up all on top of my head.

-How many do you have?

-Loads.

-Can I just say, you do not look happy in that picture!

-Did you have an argument?

-Will you struggle with that resolution?

Yeah, struggle badly.

Mine is, I bite my lip all the time when I get nervous.

-I've noticed that.

-Have you?

-I've never noticed.

If we see you doing it, we'll point it out and say, "Stop doing that!"

Mine is, I have a little pet dog called Bella,

I have to walk her more.

You said she's little - she's huge!

My princess, there she is. So I'm going to take her for more walks.

I let her sit on the couch.

-You little rebel.

-I know. I love her, though.

will be performing their latest singles.

So it's time for Games Download, and the game I'm doing today is

Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympics.

They've been to the Beijing Olympics and the Winter Olympics,

but this one is the biggest and best because it's in London.

We're doing synchronised swimming, but we'll need swimmers,

so we've got Georgia and Cel in their beautiful swimwear.

CHEERING

-Yes! OK, guys. Give us a twirl so we can see your...

-A twirl?

OK. You like it? Thanks.

So you're Mario, you're Princess Peach. And Sonic and Tails

are your team mates. We're doing synchronised swimming,

-just press "Go To Event", and you have to copy the guy on screen.

-OK.

For you at home, there's a little stick man that comes out

-and you have to follow what he does.

-With your whole body?

-Just do what the stick man does.

-OK, OK, OK.

So this is one of over 30 events you can do. You see these things?

-You need to just copy them.

-Which things do I copy?

-These things here.

-What are these? Oh, oh!

-Little stick men.

-That's not a st... Oh!

-I don't know what you call him - a man without any features.

-OK.

Anyway, so this is one of 30 different events that you can do.

-This is a fairly realistic event.

-It's good.

The other events, sometimes they put

an interesting twist on them, like the discus event for instance,

rather than throwing it like a normal discus,

you sit on the discus and you fly it and you try and collect coins.

And you get points that way. This is fairly long,

about a minute or so long. I don't know who's got more points

at the moment, we'll find out who's going to win.

Later on, they incorporate more movement.

-I feel like I'm in the Olympics here!

-What do you guys think about it?

-It's fun.

-I like the timing. To get it on time.

If you miss it, then that's it.

Usually there's a bit of leeway, but here there's none.

You get a bit of a workout as well - I like the little dance steps there!

Anyway, that's pretty much it, let's see your scores.

So, Cel, you got 7.72, Georgia, you only got 5.72.

It's all right, you know, we got bronze.

-Taking a medal home for the boys.

So anyway, that's Mario & Sonic

at the London 2012 Olympics for the Wii.

Moving on to today's gadget, if you give me your controllers.

So, everyone knows about Hot Wheels -

this is one of the Hot Wheels tracks. Come on, huddle round.

You get all your cars and stuff.

We're just going to demonstrate this track to you guys.

So, you put your car in, the Hot Wheel car...

I can't get it in!

You put your car in there, Then you take that off,

it goes into the fire, it zooms round,

and it stopped but we'll keep it going!

-You didn't see that!

-And it goes back in the fire...

Basically, these are stunt cars. They don't always work perfectly.

If they come out and crash on the floor and stuff,

it doesn't really matter.

-Don't do that one yet.

-OK.

-Oh, look at that!

-It's pretty fabulous.

But this one, this is the newest addition

to their repertoire of vehicles.

This is the video racer. This red light means it's recording.

You've got the camera on the front and it's going to go round

the track and we're going to get video footage of the whole course.

Better turn it on!

There's one bad thing about this -

I don't know why, but it always gets stuck here.

I think it's too big. But we'll just push it round.

And then go back in there.

-Still recording.

-I know. It's cool, it's cool.

-Right, so we'll go and sit down and talk about this now.

-OK.

They're just regular cars, this is the cool one.

So as you can see, on the bottom of it, there's a little -

can you see? It comes with a screen, a little LCD screen.

And you can just press play and watch back what you've recorded.

Another cool thing about this is when you buy it,

you get some free editing software, you download it

onto your computer and you can edit your own movies and stuff.

And you can put, like, cartoons in it and sound effects

and stuff like that. It's really cool and you can get some pretty cool footage.

-And me and Cel made some footage on this earlier, actually.

-Oh, yeah!

I've been editing it at home. And I think we'll be able to see it.

We're going to see our footage filmed with this very car.

'We are doing the Hot Wheels...'

-It's quite good quality for such a small camera!

-For a car, yeah.

-'Hello!'

-'We're filming off a car, by the way, I know you can't see it.'

-What do you guys think of this camera?

-I think it's wicked.

I really like the idea.

So that is the Hot Wheels video racer, pretty cool gadget, I think.

But now, it's a brand new series,

which means that there's a brand new series of Tyger Versus.

And last year, Cel pipped me to the post,

which meant that the team beat me.

But this year is my chance to get it back and win,

and that's what I'm going to do. We're going to kick off Tyger Versus

with the first of the series, and for that we'll need

the rest of our presenters. Massive applause, please!

Next up is Mirror Mirror,

a new take on the Snow White story which hits the big screen in March.

I didn't think this would be my cup of tea, but it's a nice, modern twist

on a classic fairytale and worth a watch.

I don't really know how to teach it because I don't know what it is,

In this week's Style Download,

I give ten-year-old Sarah's room a makeover

using everyday household items and here's how we got on.

Today I'm meeting ten-year-old Sarah who's got a problem with her room.

Apparently it needs some serious attention.

Hi, I'm Sarah and I live here with my mum, dad, brother and sister.

I like playing the cello...

and the African drums...

but not at the same time.

The reason I need a style download is because my room is too messy

and too boring - it looks like I'm an old lady.

She loves lots and lots of things - clothes, shoes, books -

so her room is always cluttered.

She's been asking us all along to redecorate her room,

we just haven't had the time to do it.

I think it's time I surprise her and see how bad the situation is.

-Hi!

-Oh, my gosh!

-Hi!

-Oh, my gosh!

-Hi! It's nice to meet you. I'm Georgia. How are you?

-Fine thanks.

-I hear you've got a bit of a problem with your bedroom.

We're going to give it a bit of a makeover.

Sarah, what is it about your room that you don't like?

I don't like the ultimate boringness and the fact that there's no colour

and it makes me feel like an old lady.

OK. First things first, let's have a look at your room

and see what we can do. Let's go!

OK, let's talk about it. What's the worse thing about it?

I think I'm very creative and this room doesn't show off my personality.

I definitely think we can add a bit of you to your room.

-Is there anything else?

-It's too small and it's too messy,

so I have no space to keep things I really like.

I don't know if we can make it bigger but I can give you some tips

that'll make it more roomy. Sound good?

-Brilliant.

-Awesome. Let's get started.

A great way of injecting some colour into your room is with some cushions

and we can even customise them ourselves with some cool stuff.

Love it!

-OK, so that's one cushion done.

-I like it!

-Awesome.

So I thought we could make some letter art out of buttons,

and we've also got some glue and some card as well.

Wow! That looks great! I love it.

We can move on to the next feature, which is the tidying.

A really cool way to keep your room looking tidy

is by decorating shoe boxes and putting all your stuff in there.

-Do you have any shoe boxes?

-Loads.

-Oh, OK. Right on cue.

Cool. So I think it's time we put all this stuff in your room, yeah?

-Let's do it.

-Lead the way.

You find a place for the vase and I'll start styling the cushions.

OK, I think we're done. High five.

Sarah seems happy enough and you can be too if you want to spruce up

your room. It's really simple. Step 1 -

Find a vase and collect sticks from the garden or park,

then cut leaf shapes from an old magazine or newspaper,

or even some wrapping paper like we did.

Stick the shapes on to branches to create a funky, authentic

plant accessory that never needs watering.

Step 2 -

'Find some ribbon to cut a little longer than the length of your room.

'Pin each end to either end of your room with drawing pins,

'then use some old clothes pegs to hang your favourite photos from it.

'It's a really simple but effective display

'and you can change the pictures as often as you like.'

Step 3 - button art.

Arrange some disused buttons in the shape of your favourite letter,

then stick them onto the card using a paintbrush and non-toxic glue.

-You should call your family up to have a look.

-Cool.

-Mum, Dad!

-Wow! You guys have done a great job!

-Thank you!

I've had an amazing day, I can't believe Georgia was in my house.

It's hobbits galore in this week's Movie Mistakes

where we look at some of the biggest errors

from The Lord Of The Rings: Fellowship Of The Ring.

The Fellowship Of The Ring is the first

film from the trilogy following Frodo Baggins as he embarks

on a quest to destroy the powerful ring in the Middle Earth.

In this scene we see Gandalf catch hobbit Sam snooping around.

Poor Sam ends up being thrown on the table, but keep an eye on

the background to see if you can spot the major movie error.

RUSTLING Ah!

Sam, have you been eavesdropping?

I have dropped no eaves, honest.

I was just cutting the grass under the window there.

-A little late for trimming the verge, eh?

-I heard raised voices.

-What did you hear? Speak!

-N-Nothing important.

That is I heard about a ring, a dark lord

and something about the end of the world,

but please, Mr Gandalf, sir, don't hurt me.

Let's rewind for another look.

As Sam lies on the table, on the floor behind him

there is just one brown book closed on the floor.

A few seconds later and the book is now open

and two other books have magically appeared, too.

One book - three books. Let's see our next clip.

Here, later on in the film, Frodo and his fellow hobbits,

Sam, Merry and Pippin, are enjoying a drink in the Prancing Pony.

When Pippin leaves to get a drink,

keep an eye on their table whilst he is away.

-I'm getting one.

-You've had a whole half already!

That fellow has done nothing but stare at me since we arrived.

Excuse me.

That man in the corner, who is he?

Did you spot the mistake? Let's look again.

Pippin leaves the table and a few minutes later we see

a shot of three remaining hobbits sitting down with their drinks.

But here it is Pippin that is still sitting

and Merry is the one who has left the table.

Can you see?

Pippin you see to get up to leave, but Merry is the one who is missing.

The film-makers might want to do a disappearing act after that error.

Now, this week, I've been doing some bike skills.

Now, I'm on location to find out just a bit about bike trials.

Now, if you don't know what bike trials are,

I suggest you keep watching.

Hi, I'm George,

I'm 14-years-old and I've been riding trials for five years.

I'm 15. I've been riding for two years.

Trials is my life. I pretty much live down here.

It's fun.

You get an adrenaline rush from it.

You get to ride with all your mates.

There's a whole range of tricks you can do in bike trials.

My favourite move is a helicopter.

You pivot your back wheel over the edge, then you spin yourself round.

Footjam tailwhip - put your front foot

in the front wheel, spin the frame round

and then you land on the frame again.

Anyone can do trials. It's for anyone.

If you haven't got access to a centre like this,

you could use a local skate-park or obstacles in your back garden,

like pallets or anything, really.

Unfortunately, we can't do the biking outside as it's too slippery.

But the guys have invited me inside where another is set up.

They're going to give me some top tips. Let's have a look.

-Hi, George.

-Nice to meet you.

So, George, what I need you to tell me today is, "What is trial biking?"

Trial biking's just - it's hopping on and off stuff,

like onto thin pipes or onto big tyres and stuff like that.

So you need a lot of strength to do that.

The bike itself hasn't got a seat. Can you explain why?

-Cos you don't need a seat for trials cos you don't sit down.

-OK.

And it's got much better brakes than a normal bike.

-Are these high quality brakes?

-Yeah, really good brakes so that

when you're hopping around on the back wheel,

you need to have good brakes so you can actually just stop.

You've got helmet, gloves and pads. Are they important?

When you're riding trials, you do tend to injure yourself,

so you need to be padded up to stop it from being so bad.

So, I think I should get padded up and you should be teaching me.

-That sounds good.

-Let's go.

Right, George, what's up? I'm ready to go.

-What you teaching me first?

-I'm going to show you a track stand.

Track stand's just all about balance. I'm going to show you now.

What does it look like?

It's just balancing on the spot and just use your brakes and your pedals.

Put them on and off. You've got to find the balance points.

-Do you want to give it a go?

-Right, so you pedal a little bit.

-Just turn your handlebars.

-It's hard.

It's all about practise and balance with this one.

-You see, I'm wobbling a little bit.

-That's it.

That's how you do it.

SMOOTH MUSIC

-I'm really enjoying this.

-It's good fun.

I'm getting used to it, picking it up quite quickly.

-Yeah, you're doing really well.

-What's next?

I was going to put you over some obstacles,

-as trials is about getting over stuff.

-Oh...

-Not a big one, I hope, I'm only a beginner.

-No, no, not a big one.

You can't jump straight onto the big stuff.

You have to start on the small stuff. Just that one.

-Are they easy or are they hard?

-It's harder than it looks.

-Honestly?

-Yeah.

Wicked. So, what you do I need to do? Give me two tips that I need.

Well, when you get to about that far behind it,

you just need to lift up your front wheel and when your back wheel hits,

you need to carry on pedalling to keep the momentum going.

-Wicked.

-Let's give it a go.

-Oh! I think I'll go again.

-You'll get it, don't worry.

Oh! Nearly.

Really close to it then. You'll get it next time.

-There we go.

-Try and do the one after as well.

Richard's done really well for a beginner.

He picked up the stuff quite quickly. I'm really happy with his progress.

Although it looks hard, it's actually pretty fun.

Even if these guys do make it look easy.

Find yourself a bike with helmet and pads.

You can pick one up for about the same price as a BMX.

Try some smaller tricks and techniques

before tackling the more serious moves.

Start with small jumps, such as kerbs, and work up to bigger jumps.

I can't believe it's all over! I've had so much fun today.

Unfortunately, they wanted their bike back.

Don't know how I'm going to get home.
