CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

0:00:120:00:16

-Welcome to Friday Download.

-Your instant download for the week ahead.

0:00:240:00:28

Here we are with a brand new series.

0:00:280:00:30

I know you find it hard going back to school after the holidays - we do!

0:00:300:00:34

But we're back with a brand new series to liven up your Friday.

0:00:340:00:37

Right. So, it is the new year, guys,

0:00:420:00:44

and the new year means lots of new year's resolutions.

0:00:440:00:48

We hope you've all made yours. We have made ours.

0:00:480:00:52

Mine is to buy less shoes.

0:00:520:00:55

This actually is my shoe collection and I gave some of them away,

0:01:000:01:04

and kind of almost that plus an extra half

0:01:040:01:07

of it is now what I have at the moment.

0:01:070:01:10

That's more shoes than me and Georgia put together!

0:01:100:01:13

OK, so my new year's resolution is to tidy my room,

0:01:130:01:17

cos my room often a mess.

0:01:170:01:19

-It's lime green!

-Is your wall green?

-My whole bedroom's green.

0:01:200:01:26

-Do you want to swap? Give me your wallpaper.

-Do you want to come over sometime?

0:01:260:01:30

-Good new year's resolution, mate.

-I'll keep it tidy, I will.

0:01:300:01:35

OK, my new year's resolution is to eat less chocolate,

0:01:350:01:38

cos I eat tonnes, it's ridiculous.

0:01:380:01:41

Oh, yeah, today though - just a little example.

0:01:430:01:48

Two chocolate bars on the go there.

0:01:480:01:50

-I've never seen you eat much chocolate.

-Have you not? I eat loads!

0:01:500:01:53

-What's the most you've eaten?

-In one day?

-Yeah. Roughly.

0:01:530:01:57

-Give me an average.

-In grammes.

-It's not, like... Maybe five?

0:01:570:02:03

-Five?!

-But in a day...

-That's just to get you started!

0:02:030:02:08

But in a day, though, and they're like, that big.

0:02:080:02:11

Mine is a bit similar but I haven't got anywhere near -

0:02:110:02:15

it's hats, I've got to stop buying them.

0:02:150:02:17

It's only a few there. I've actually run out of hands!

0:02:170:02:21

-I've got to stack them up all on top of my head.

-How many do you have?

0:02:210:02:27

-Loads.

-Can I just say, you do not look happy in that picture!

0:02:270:02:30

-Did you have an argument?

-Will you struggle with that resolution?

0:02:300:02:35

Yeah, struggle badly.

0:02:350:02:37

Mine is, I bite my lip all the time when I get nervous.

0:02:370:02:40

-I've noticed that.

-Have you?

-I've never noticed.

0:02:400:02:43

If we see you doing it, we'll point it out and say, "Stop doing that!"

0:02:430:02:46

-OK.

-Naughty! No!

-Cel, what's yours?

0:02:460:02:52

Mine is, I have a little pet dog called Bella,

0:02:520:02:55

I have to walk her more.

0:02:550:02:57

AUDIENCE: Awww!

0:02:570:02:59

You said she's little - she's huge!

0:02:590:03:02

My princess, there she is. So I'm going to take her for more walks.

0:03:020:03:08

-What's she sitting on, a sofa?

-Your mum lets her sit on the couch?

0:03:080:03:11

I let her sit on the couch.

0:03:110:03:13

-You little rebel.

-I know. I love her, though.

0:03:130:03:16

Those are our resolutions, let's see if we stick to them.

0:03:160:03:20

Here's what's coming up on the show.

0:03:200:03:22

I'll be joined by two special guests in Dance Download.

0:03:220:03:25

Cel checks out some of the hottest movies of the year.

0:03:250:03:27

Richard gets on his bike in Weekend Download.

0:03:270:03:30

Plus, Rizzle Kicks and The Wanted

0:03:300:03:33

will be performing their latest singles.

0:03:330:03:35

So it's time for Games Download, and the game I'm doing today is

0:03:450:03:49

Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympics.

0:03:490:03:51

They've been to the Beijing Olympics and the Winter Olympics,

0:03:510:03:55

but this one is the biggest and best because it's in London.

0:03:550:03:58

We're doing synchronised swimming, but we'll need swimmers,

0:03:580:04:02

so we've got Georgia and Cel in their beautiful swimwear.

0:04:020:04:05

CHEERING

0:04:050:04:07

-Yes! OK, guys. Give us a twirl so we can see your...

-A twirl?

0:04:070:04:11

OK. You like it? Thanks.

0:04:110:04:14

So you're Mario, you're Princess Peach. And Sonic and Tails

0:04:140:04:18

are your team mates. We're doing synchronised swimming,

0:04:180:04:22

-just press "Go To Event", and you have to copy the guy on screen.

-OK.

0:04:220:04:27

For you at home, there's a little stick man that comes out

0:04:280:04:33

-and you have to follow what he does.

-With your whole body?

0:04:330:04:37

-Just do what the stick man does.

-OK, OK, OK.

0:04:370:04:40

So this is one of over 30 events you can do. You see these things?

0:04:400:04:46

-You need to just copy them.

-Which things do I copy?

-These things here.

0:04:460:04:50

-What are these? Oh, oh!

-Little stick men.

-That's not a st... Oh!

0:04:500:04:55

-I don't know what you call him - a man without any features.

-OK.

0:04:550:04:59

Anyway, so this is one of 30 different events that you can do.

0:04:590:05:03

-This is a fairly realistic event.

-It's good.

0:05:030:05:05

The other events, sometimes they put

0:05:050:05:08

an interesting twist on them, like the discus event for instance,

0:05:080:05:12

rather than throwing it like a normal discus,

0:05:120:05:15

you sit on the discus and you fly it and you try and collect coins.

0:05:150:05:19

And you get points that way. This is fairly long,

0:05:190:05:21

about a minute or so long. I don't know who's got more points

0:05:210:05:25

at the moment, we'll find out who's going to win.

0:05:250:05:28

Later on, they incorporate more movement.

0:05:280:05:31

-I feel like I'm in the Olympics here!

-What do you guys think about it?

0:05:310:05:34

-It's fun.

-I like the timing. To get it on time.

0:05:340:05:38

If you miss it, then that's it.

0:05:380:05:41

Usually there's a bit of leeway, but here there's none.

0:05:410:05:44

You get a bit of a workout as well - I like the little dance steps there!

0:05:440:05:49

Anyway, that's pretty much it, let's see your scores.

0:05:490:05:52

CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

0:05:520:05:56

So, Cel, you got 7.72, Georgia, you only got 5.72.

0:05:560:06:00

It's all right, you know, we got bronze.

0:06:000:06:03

-Taking a medal home for the boys.

-We came last.

0:06:030:06:06

So anyway, that's Mario & Sonic

0:06:060:06:08

at the London 2012 Olympics for the Wii.

0:06:080:06:10

Moving on to today's gadget, if you give me your controllers.

0:06:100:06:13

So, everyone knows about Hot Wheels -

0:06:130:06:15

this is one of the Hot Wheels tracks. Come on, huddle round.

0:06:150:06:21

You get all your cars and stuff.

0:06:210:06:22

We're just going to demonstrate this track to you guys.

0:06:220:06:25

So, you put your car in, the Hot Wheel car...

0:06:250:06:29

I can't get it in!

0:06:290:06:32

You put your car in there, Then you take that off,

0:06:320:06:34

it goes into the fire, it zooms round,

0:06:340:06:37

and it stopped but we'll keep it going!

0:06:370:06:39

-You didn't see that!

-And it goes back in the fire...

0:06:390:06:42

Basically, these are stunt cars. They don't always work perfectly.

0:06:420:06:47

If they come out and crash on the floor and stuff,

0:06:470:06:50

it doesn't really matter.

0:06:500:06:52

-Don't do that one yet.

-OK.

-Oh, look at that!

-It's pretty fabulous.

0:06:520:06:59

But this one, this is the newest addition

0:06:590:07:01

to their repertoire of vehicles.

0:07:010:07:03

This is the video racer. This red light means it's recording.

0:07:030:07:07

You've got the camera on the front and it's going to go round

0:07:070:07:10

the track and we're going to get video footage of the whole course.

0:07:100:07:14

Better turn it on!

0:07:140:07:16

There's one bad thing about this -

0:07:160:07:19

I don't know why, but it always gets stuck here.

0:07:190:07:22

I think it's too big. But we'll just push it round.

0:07:220:07:25

And then go back in there.

0:07:250:07:27

-Still recording.

-I know. It's cool, it's cool.

0:07:270:07:32

-Right, so we'll go and sit down and talk about this now.

-OK.

0:07:320:07:36

They're just regular cars, this is the cool one.

0:07:360:07:39

So as you can see, on the bottom of it, there's a little -

0:07:390:07:42

can you see? It comes with a screen, a little LCD screen.

0:07:420:07:47

And you can just press play and watch back what you've recorded.

0:07:470:07:51

Another cool thing about this is when you buy it,

0:07:510:07:54

you get some free editing software, you download it

0:07:540:07:57

onto your computer and you can edit your own movies and stuff.

0:07:570:08:02

And you can put, like, cartoons in it and sound effects

0:08:020:08:06

and stuff like that. It's really cool and you can get some pretty cool footage.

0:08:060:08:10

-And me and Cel made some footage on this earlier, actually.

-Oh, yeah!

0:08:100:08:15

I've been editing it at home. And I think we'll be able to see it.

0:08:150:08:20

We're going to see our footage filmed with this very car.

0:08:200:08:24

'We are doing the Hot Wheels...'

0:08:270:08:30

-It's quite good quality for such a small camera!

-For a car, yeah.

0:08:300:08:33

-'Hello!'

-'We're filming off a car, by the way, I know you can't see it.'

0:08:330:08:38

-What do you guys think of this camera?

-I think it's wicked.

0:08:380:08:42

I really like the idea.

0:08:420:08:43

So that is the Hot Wheels video racer, pretty cool gadget, I think.

0:08:430:08:48

But now, it's a brand new series,

0:08:480:08:52

which means that there's a brand new series of Tyger Versus.

0:08:520:08:57

And last year, Cel pipped me to the post,

0:08:570:09:00

which meant that the team beat me.

0:09:000:09:02

But this year is my chance to get it back and win,

0:09:020:09:05

and that's what I'm going to do. We're going to kick off Tyger Versus

0:09:050:09:08

with the first of the series, and for that we'll need

0:09:080:09:11

the rest of our presenters. Massive applause, please!

0:09:110:09:14

CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

0:09:140:09:18

Right, we're back, we're back. With the randomiser!

0:09:180:09:23

Let's find out who I'm against.

0:09:230:09:25

-Good to see you again, old friend.

-Is it the same randomiser?

0:09:250:09:29

-Oh, the suspense.

-Good stuff.

0:09:310:09:34

Oh, sturdy start.

0:09:340:09:36

-Now, from what I remember, you beat me a couple of times.

-I never lost.

0:09:360:09:40

That fills me with confidence(!)

0:09:400:09:43

Anyway, basically, we're playing on Rabbids Alive and Kicking.

0:09:430:09:46

The aim is, it's a race to get out of the supermarket.

0:09:460:09:51

-Do I have to run?

-Bit of running, bit of bopping.

0:09:510:09:53

Right, let's go, let's go!

0:09:530:09:56

Go, go, go!

0:09:590:10:02

Aidan! Aidan! Aidan! Aidan!

0:10:020:10:04

-Sprint!

-Come on!

0:10:130:10:15

Yes! Yes! Yes!

0:10:150:10:17

-Yes!

-Come on, Aidan!

0:10:220:10:24

Yeah!

0:10:290:10:31

-CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

-Woo!

0:10:310:10:34

Sorry, that makes it one-nil to me, and that's Games Download complete.

0:10:340:10:39

Why is it so hard to play card games in the jungle?

0:10:460:10:49

Cos there are so many cheetahs!

0:10:490:10:51

Now, we've got a bit of a special Movie Download for you guys at home.

0:10:570:11:00

So, as it's the start of a new year,

0:11:000:11:03

I've decided to put a few clips together of, in my opinion,

0:11:030:11:06

the best and biggest films I think are coming out this year.

0:11:060:11:09

Just take a look at these!

0:11:090:11:11

-We are the Muppets.

-# Hello! Hello! Hello! Hello! #

0:11:110:11:15

The Muppets, which is out in February.

0:11:150:11:18

If, like me, you're not a massive fan,

0:11:180:11:20

they'll definitely grow on you

0:11:200:11:22

after seeing this trailer. It looks brilliant!

0:11:220:11:24

You guys are so talented!

0:11:240:11:26

Check it out! Fart shoes!

0:11:260:11:28

FARTING NOISES

0:11:280:11:31

I'm going to shoot straight. You guys aren't famous any more.

0:11:310:11:34

Yeesh! I wish she'd shot a little more curvy.

0:11:340:11:36

Let's work our way back to the top.

0:11:360:11:39

-Can't you see I'm busy?!

-Come on, guys, let's go!

0:11:390:11:42

Hola! Ha-ha!

0:11:420:11:44

-Let's try that lift again, shall we?

-Ai, the lift again!

0:11:440:11:48

OK, on my count this time, OK? In three, two... Aagh!

0:11:480:11:51

-I believe in you and you and you and... Well, all of you.

-Aww!

0:11:510:11:55

-Have a seat.

-Thank you!

-I think I'll stand.

-Comfy!

0:11:560:12:00

Is this movie in 3D?

0:12:000:12:02

No, the Muppets are as one-dimensional as they've always been!

0:12:020:12:05

Ice Age 4: Continental Drift.

0:12:080:12:10

Manny, Diego and Sid the sloth are back for a new adventure

0:12:100:12:14

and this time, they're joined by new characters,

0:12:140:12:17

voiced by music stars including Drake,

0:12:170:12:19

Jennifer Lopez and Nicki Minaj.

0:12:190:12:22

Next up is Mirror Mirror,

0:12:480:12:50

a new take on the Snow White story which hits the big screen in March.

0:12:500:12:54

I didn't think this would be my cup of tea, but it's a nice, modern twist

0:12:540:12:58

on a classic fairytale and worth a watch.

0:12:580:13:00

Mirror, mirror, on the wall, who's the fairest of them all?

0:13:000:13:04

Snow White.

0:13:040:13:06

-What?

-What?

-Snow White?

-Eugh! Banish her to the woods.

0:13:060:13:10

-The Queen is getting married.

-Take back your kingdom!

0:13:100:13:13

So many stories about the prince saves the princess -

0:13:130:13:16

it's time we changed that ending.

0:13:160:13:18

-You're with the bandits?

-You're with the Queen!

-Shall we help her?

0:13:180:13:22

-She's doing pretty good on her own.

-Snap!

0:13:220:13:24

I definitely have a happily ever after thing going on.

0:13:260:13:31

The Amazing Spiderman, which I'm really excited

0:13:310:13:34

about seeing this summer.

0:13:340:13:35

Andrew Garfield, wearing the Spidey suit - no more Tobey Maguire -

0:13:350:13:39

takes us back to the beginning of the Spiderman story,

0:13:390:13:42

where Peter Parker is developing his super-powers in high school.

0:13:420:13:46

'We all have secrets.

0:13:530:13:55

'The ones we keep...

0:14:000:14:02

'And the ones that are kept from us.'

0:14:030:14:06

Dr Seuss' The Lorax - this is the classic book

0:14:090:14:11

and it comes to life in July, when The Lorax opens in cinemas.

0:14:110:14:16

Voiced by Zac Efron, Taylor Swift and Danny De Vito,

0:14:160:14:18

the film is about a 12-year-old boy

0:14:180:14:20

who visits the magical world of The Lorax

0:14:200:14:23

to try and find the one thing that the girl of his dreams really wants.

0:14:230:14:27

You want to know about trees? Whatever happened to them?

0:14:270:14:31

It all started a long time ago.

0:14:310:14:34

HORN BEEPS

0:14:360:14:38

Wow.

0:14:380:14:40

All right, here we go. About to change the world.

0:14:400:14:43

Little did I know, I had just summoned a mystical creature

0:14:470:14:51

as old as time itself.

0:14:510:14:53

The legendary, slightly annoying, Lorax.

0:14:530:14:58

Hey! Did you chop down this tree?

0:14:580:15:00

-HE GASPS

-What's that?

-Oi!

0:15:000:15:04

-I think he did it.

-Hmm.

0:15:040:15:06

-Come back tomorrow and don't let the boot hit you.

-Whoa!

0:15:060:15:10

Finally, here's the trailer of The Hobbit -

0:15:100:15:13

An Unexpected Journey.

0:15:130:15:14

This is set before The Lord Of The Rings films

0:15:140:15:17

and follows Bilbo Baggins

0:15:170:15:19

on his journey to reclaim a lost dwarf kingdom.

0:15:190:15:21

But you'll have to wait until December to see it.

0:15:210:15:25

You'll have a tale or two to tell when you come back.

0:15:370:15:39

-Can you promise that I will come back?

-No.

0:15:390:15:43

And if you do, you'll not be the same.

0:15:430:15:46

And that's Movie Download complete.

0:15:480:15:51

Hello, and welcome to another Dance Download.

0:15:580:16:01

This week is a special Dance Download because, as you know,

0:16:010:16:04

Rizzle Kicks have a song out, Mama Do The Hump.

0:16:040:16:06

The hump is a dance move the Rizzle Kicks have made

0:16:060:16:08

and you'll see it in this routine.

0:16:300:16:33

# Mama won't you please let me do the hump, hump... #

0:16:330:16:37

CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

0:16:540:16:56

To help me teach that move, I've got some special guests.

0:16:570:17:01

First of all, bring on my very good man Richard.

0:17:010:17:04

CHEERING

0:17:040:17:07

-All right, Rich?

-What's up?

0:17:100:17:12

We're going to teach this move but we need more people to teach it.

0:17:120:17:16

So how about the people themselves, Rizzle Kicks!

0:17:160:17:19

-What's going on? Are you good?

-Yeah, I'm good.

0:17:240:17:29

So we're going to teach them the hump. Where did this move come from?

0:17:290:17:33

This was made by pure accident whilst doing the song on stage

0:17:330:17:37

earlier this year. I don't know what happened,

0:17:370:17:40

-I just started doing that.

-It just came about.

-Yeah.

0:17:400:17:44

-Right. So let's get teaching it.

-OK. All right.

0:17:440:17:46

I don't really know how to teach it because I don't know what it is,

0:17:460:17:50

but it's predominantly you go like...bam, bam, bam.

0:17:500:17:56

Bam, bam, bam, bam-bam. Yeah.

0:17:560:17:59

-Is there any bit of the song you have to do it to?

-The chorus.

0:17:590:18:02

In the first chorus, it breaks down and you stand there, get ready

0:18:020:18:06

and do your stretches or whatever, you know?

0:18:060:18:08

We're all going to do our stretches first, yeah?

0:18:080:18:12

Everyone stretch. Stretch it out.

0:18:120:18:15

Stretch it. Round the back. Stretch, stretch.

0:18:150:18:19

Eventually, put your hands in the air like this and then you end up

0:18:190:18:22

going boom, boom, boom. Yes!

0:18:220:18:26

Yeah. It's all about the hips.

0:18:260:18:30

-This guy's got it, down at the front.

-He's killing it! I saw it.

0:18:300:18:34

-So do you want to do it to the music now?

-Let's go.

0:18:340:18:37

0:18:370:18:39

-Warm up.

-Yeah, warm up.

0:18:420:18:45

Shoulders.

0:18:450:18:47

Right, ready?

0:18:490:18:50

CHEERING

0:19:140:19:16

Yeah!

0:19:160:19:19

Keep doing it.

0:19:190:19:20

CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

0:19:200:19:22

I've actually got a stitch after that, mate.

0:19:240:19:28

That is Dance Download complete, but before we go,

0:19:280:19:31

Oh, yeah!

0:21:540:21:56

In this week's Style Download,

0:21:590:22:01

I give ten-year-old Sarah's room a makeover

0:22:010:22:03

using everyday household items and here's how we got on.

0:22:030:22:07

Today I'm meeting ten-year-old Sarah who's got a problem with her room.

0:22:070:22:10

Apparently it needs some serious attention.

0:22:100:22:14

Hi, I'm Sarah and I live here with my mum, dad, brother and sister.

0:22:140:22:18

I like playing the cello...

0:22:220:22:24

and the African drums...

0:22:240:22:26

but not at the same time.

0:22:260:22:29

The reason I need a style download is because my room is too messy

0:22:330:22:37

and too boring - it looks like I'm an old lady.

0:22:370:22:40

She loves lots and lots of things - clothes, shoes, books -

0:22:400:22:44

so her room is always cluttered.

0:22:440:22:47

She's been asking us all along to redecorate her room,

0:22:470:22:50

we just haven't had the time to do it.

0:22:500:22:52

I think it's time I surprise her and see how bad the situation is.

0:22:520:22:56

-Hi!

-Oh, my gosh!

-Hi!

0:23:040:23:07

-Oh, my gosh!

-Hi! It's nice to meet you. I'm Georgia. How are you?

0:23:070:23:11

-Fine thanks.

-I hear you've got a bit of a problem with your bedroom.

0:23:110:23:15

We're going to give it a bit of a makeover.

0:23:150:23:18

Sarah, what is it about your room that you don't like?

0:23:180:23:22

I don't like the ultimate boringness and the fact that there's no colour

0:23:220:23:26

and it makes me feel like an old lady.

0:23:260:23:29

OK. First things first, let's have a look at your room

0:23:290:23:33

and see what we can do. Let's go!

0:23:330:23:35

OK, let's talk about it. What's the worse thing about it?

0:23:400:23:43

I think I'm very creative and this room doesn't show off my personality.

0:23:430:23:48

I definitely think we can add a bit of you to your room.

0:23:480:23:51

-Is there anything else?

-It's too small and it's too messy,

0:23:510:23:54

so I have no space to keep things I really like.

0:23:540:23:57

I don't know if we can make it bigger but I can give you some tips

0:23:570:24:01

that'll make it more roomy. Sound good?

0:24:010:24:03

-Brilliant.

-Awesome. Let's get started.

0:24:030:24:05

A great way of injecting some colour into your room is with some cushions

0:24:050:24:10

and we can even customise them ourselves with some cool stuff.

0:24:100:24:14

Love it!

0:24:140:24:15

-OK, so that's one cushion done.

-I like it!

-Awesome.

0:24:230:24:26

So I thought we could make some letter art out of buttons,

0:24:260:24:30

and we've also got some glue and some card as well.

0:24:300:24:33

Wow! That looks great! I love it.

0:24:380:24:41

We can move on to the next feature, which is the tidying.

0:24:480:24:51

A really cool way to keep your room looking tidy

0:24:510:24:54

is by decorating shoe boxes and putting all your stuff in there.

0:24:540:24:58

-Do you have any shoe boxes?

-Loads.

-Oh, OK. Right on cue.

0:24:580:25:01

Cool. So I think it's time we put all this stuff in your room, yeah?

0:25:060:25:09

-Let's do it.

-Lead the way.

0:25:090:25:11

You find a place for the vase and I'll start styling the cushions.

0:25:120:25:16

OK, I think we're done. High five.

0:25:280:25:30

Sarah seems happy enough and you can be too if you want to spruce up

0:25:300:25:33

your room. It's really simple. Step 1 -

0:25:330:25:36

Find a vase and collect sticks from the garden or park,

0:25:360:25:39

then cut leaf shapes from an old magazine or newspaper,

0:25:390:25:42

or even some wrapping paper like we did.

0:25:420:25:45

Stick the shapes on to branches to create a funky, authentic

0:25:450:25:48

plant accessory that never needs watering.

0:25:480:25:50

Step 2 -

0:25:500:25:52

'Find some ribbon to cut a little longer than the length of your room.

0:25:520:25:55

'Pin each end to either end of your room with drawing pins,

0:25:550:25:59

'then use some old clothes pegs to hang your favourite photos from it.

0:25:590:26:02

'It's a really simple but effective display

0:26:020:26:05

'and you can change the pictures as often as you like.'

0:26:050:26:08

Step 3 - button art.

0:26:080:26:10

Arrange some disused buttons in the shape of your favourite letter,

0:26:100:26:14

then stick them onto the card using a paintbrush and non-toxic glue.

0:26:140:26:17

-You should call your family up to have a look.

-Cool.

0:26:190:26:21

-Mum, Dad!

-Wow! You guys have done a great job!

-Thank you!

0:26:210:26:28

Wow! It's great.

0:26:280:26:29

-You like it?

-Wonderful!

-Awesome, yeah?

0:26:290:26:33

# Baby you light up my world like nobody else... #

0:26:330:26:37

Instead of looking like a 70-year-old's room,

0:26:370:26:41

it looks like a ten-year-old's room, which is my age by the way.

0:26:410:26:45

The room's great. I really like how you've brought it back to life.

0:26:470:26:51

Excellent. Very, very good now. She's going to really love it.

0:26:510:26:55

I love my new room and so do my family.

0:26:570:27:00

In fact, they love it so much, I can't keep them out.

0:27:000:27:02

I've had an amazing day, I can't believe Georgia was in my house.

0:27:040:27:08

-For real...

-High five!

-..my friends are going to be so jealous,

0:27:080:27:11

and my sister especially.

0:27:110:27:14

# ..That's what makes you beautiful. #

0:27:140:27:17

What a transformation! Style Download complete.

0:27:170:27:20

Guys, so that's the wave. Keep practising after your homework.

0:27:250:27:28

That's what you've got to do when doing a dance move.

0:27:280:27:31

All right? This week, on TV... I look at all the shows, you know.

0:27:310:27:35

You all right there, Cel? What are you doing, mate?

0:27:350:27:38

-I've got a few questions...

-I've got a few for you.

0:27:380:27:41

Why do you sound South African?

0:27:410:27:43

-What?

-You're supposed to be from Birmingham.

-I am.

0:27:430:27:45

-You sound South African.

-No, I'm from Dudley, Birmingham.

0:27:450:27:50

-You look stupid.

-Well...

0:27:500:27:53

-Please do it normally.

-All right, yeah.

0:27:530:27:55

-Just for laughs...

-No, no! You always get it wrong!

0:27:550:27:59

-I get it wrong?!

-Yes! Every time we come to rehearsals,

0:27:590:28:03

"Aidan, repeat the line because you've got it wrong."

0:28:030:28:06

-You just always get it wrong.

-Backstage Download complete.

0:28:060:28:10

-Say it after two.

-Yeah. One, two.

0:28:100:28:11

BOTH: Backstage Download complete.

0:28:110:28:13

Your Brummie accent has ruined it all.

0:28:130:28:16

Still to come...

0:28:160:28:17

# I-I-I, I-I-I... #

0:28:170:28:22

# You can't stop looking at me Writing about me

0:28:250:28:28

# Tweeting about me

0:28:280:28:29

# I can't stop it's what it's gonna be

0:28:290:28:31

# My swagger's in check... #

0:28:310:28:33

Here we are for Hot Or Not, where we each pick a topic

0:28:400:28:43

and discuss whether it's hot or not.

0:28:430:28:46

This side is hot and this side is not hot.

0:28:460:28:48

I'm going to go first. Now...braces. I don't mean braces as in teeth,

0:28:480:28:54

-I mean braces on trousers.

-That's hot, that's hot, that's hot.

0:28:540:28:57

I'm definitely going to go with hot because I like them as well.

0:28:570:29:00

Are we all hot?

0:29:000:29:03

You know when people wear them properly, like over the top?

0:29:030:29:07

Like you've got them hanging down, they look cool.

0:29:070:29:10

-One of the boys from One Direction does it quite a lot.

-Which one?

0:29:170:29:20

Braces aren't hot. I'm just scared of wearing belts.

0:29:200:29:24

-So, we're hot on them?

-Hot.

0:29:240:29:25

-Hot.

-OK.

0:29:250:29:27

My one is a...a good old mirror.

0:29:270:29:32

Just a mirror?

0:29:320:29:33

What's wrong with a mirror? How can that be NOT hot?

0:29:330:29:39

-It's just your opinion.

-OK!

-Depends whether you like yourself.

0:29:390:29:43

-No, it doesn't.

-Yeah.

0:29:430:29:44

Everyone likes a mirror cos you've got to look in it.

0:29:440:29:48

-I can't go to sleep if a mirror's in front of me.

-True!

0:29:480:29:51

Cos if you wake up, it's just like...

0:29:510:29:53

-It's not in a vain way, "Do you like yourself?"

-If it's dark.

0:29:530:29:57

What about mirrors in a maze?

0:29:580:30:00

This is a fact for everyone -

0:30:000:30:02

Michael Jackson went five years without looking in a mirror.

0:30:020:30:06

-Just to let everyone know.

-Really?!

-Anyway, moving on.

0:30:060:30:09

-Are we all hot on mirrors?

-Yeah.

0:30:090:30:11

-So everyone's hot?

-Who's next?

0:30:110:30:15

-Mine's next. Mine is hedgehogs.

-No.

0:30:150:30:19

If I touch a spiky hedgehog?

0:30:190:30:23

-Are you serious?

-Have you seen baby ones? They're so cute!

0:30:230:30:25

-Sonic is the coolest.

-Now, when you say that,

0:30:250:30:28

that makes me want to sit there.

0:30:280:30:30

-Sonic changes everything.

-He's not a proper hedgehog.

0:30:300:30:33

-Don't ruin kids' dreams.

-I like that, but we're talking about.

0:30:330:30:38

So if you see a hedgehog you'll go, "You're cute"?

0:30:380:30:41

Yes! They're so cute. If they have no spikes, they're so cute.

0:30:410:30:46

But then they have spikes to protect themselves.

0:30:460:30:50

They don't run at you and just jump at you. If you go "Rrrr!"

0:30:500:30:55

I'm sure they'll go, "No!" They're not really cute.

0:30:550:30:58

I think you might have turned me.

0:30:580:31:01

-It was the Sonic.

-That was the first rock, paper, scissors, eh?

-Oh, yeah.

0:31:010:31:07

So you guys are on your own, we beat you on that one. That's hot.

0:31:070:31:11

-Who's next?

-It's me now.

0:31:110:31:13

Um, so... THEY LAUGH

0:31:130:31:16

-For the intro, we did our new year's resolutions.

-We did.

0:31:160:31:20

-But what do you think of new year's resolutions, in general?

-Not.

0:31:220:31:27

-Not hot.

-I think they're hot, but I can never stick to it.

0:31:270:31:31

-I never keep them.

-They give me something to achieve.

0:31:310:31:34

-Why do you want to stop something you like?

-Exactly!

0:31:340:31:37

I think this is going to be a rock, paper, scissors.

0:31:370:31:40

That's what we do when we have a tie.

0:31:400:31:44

-Let's just confirm this - it's rock, paper, scissors.

-Show your hand.

0:31:440:31:48

-Don't cheat.

-Rock, paper, wham!

-Rock, paper, do it.

-OK. Just go.

0:31:480:31:55

-ALL:

-Rock, paper, scissors!

-We won! We won!

0:31:550:32:00

Yeah! It's hot!

0:32:000:32:01

-Whoo-oo, whoo-ooh!

-OK. Sit down!

0:32:010:32:04

-OK, so that is hot.

-Looks like you're doing a work-out.

0:32:040:32:08

-That's a celebration win now.

-Yes!

0:32:080:32:11

-I'm next and my hot or not is egg mayonnaise.

-Eugh!

-Oh, no!

0:32:140:32:18

-Right, this is hot.

-What are you doing?

0:32:180:32:20

He loves an egg.

0:32:230:32:24

Of course he does, he farts all the time! Joking!

0:32:240:32:27

Wait, it's egg mayonnaise?

0:32:270:32:30

-Egg mayonnaise.

-There's eggs and then there's mayonnaise. Why mix the two?

0:32:300:32:35

-I've had mayonnaise.

-We're talking about egg mayonnaise.

0:32:350:32:37

Both of them are disgusting, so why would you put them together?

0:32:370:32:42

I like both, so I'll stick to hot. You're on your own.

0:32:420:32:45

No, I'm not.

0:32:450:32:46

Steve's next to me, my imaginary friend.

0:32:460:32:50

THEY LAUGH

0:32:500:32:52

-Yes, we've got a hot here.

-Is your name Steve?

-Yeah.

0:32:520:32:57

-CHEERING!

-Wicked!

0:32:570:32:58

-So we won this one.

-So, egg mayo?

0:32:580:33:03

Not hot.

0:33:030:33:04

OK, my one is 5p coins.

0:33:040:33:07

They're not hot. They're pointless.

0:33:070:33:11

-They're so annoying.

-It's money.

-They're a bit small.

0:33:110:33:14

-How can money be cute?

-Cos they're so small.

0:33:140:33:18

Do you look in your purse and go, "Ahhh! Look at the little 5p!"

0:33:180:33:23

"Ahh. There's a bit of mould."

0:33:230:33:26

-I just put them in the penny jar when I get home.

-5p is just a penny.

0:33:260:33:30

-20 of them and then you have a pound.

-Exactly!

0:33:300:33:32

-I'll have a 20p in my pocket but not a 5p.

-I prefer them to the penny.

0:33:320:33:35

-What about pennies?

-Oh, no! I'd get rid of them.

0:33:350:33:39

The nearest girl or woman near me,

0:33:390:33:41

-"Take these and put them in your purse."

-You could take them

0:33:410:33:45

to Sainsbury's and get cash.

0:33:450:33:46

-5p. Two pence for you.

-I can't change in my pockets.

0:33:460:33:49

-Why don't you get a wallet with a coin bit?

-No.

0:33:510:33:54

Cos then when you try to fold it...

0:33:540:33:58

5ps are hot.

0:33:580:34:01

I know you're all waiting for the klaxon, you've not heard it.

0:34:010:34:05

For the new series we are going to get a Hot or Not with

0:34:050:34:08

one of you viewers at home or someone here in the audience.

0:34:080:34:12

This week we have got Cora from London, who is 11.

0:34:120:34:17

-There she is there.

-Hi, Cora!

-Hey!

-Her hot or not is earmuffs.

0:34:170:34:23

-Oooh!

-Yeah, they're definitely hot.

0:34:230:34:26

That is a good hot or not to start the series with.

0:34:260:34:30

-That is a good one.

-They're still hot.

0:34:300:34:32

If you saw someone wear them, would you think I'd wear them?

0:34:320:34:36

-I'm not a wearer of earmuffs.

-I just find them irritating.

0:34:360:34:41

-I'm just not an earmuff type of guy.

-So why are you in hot?

0:34:410:34:44

THEY LAUGH

0:34:440:34:46

-No, because I like the idea of them.

-They're cute.

0:34:460:34:50

-They do look really cosy.

-You can't...blah...you can't play music.

0:34:500:34:55

They are cool, they just don't look it.

0:34:550:34:57

-Isn't that just called headphones?

-I thought that!

0:34:570:35:00

THEY LAUGH

0:35:020:35:03

-So, they're not hot?

-Well Cora thought it was hot.

0:35:030:35:06

So it gives Tyger two. But it's not enough so that makes it not hot.

0:35:060:35:12

-So we say...

-KLAXON BLARES

0:35:120:35:14

So that's the end of Hot or Not?

0:35:140:35:16

This series we'd love to hear what you guys

0:35:160:35:18

think we should discuss and we have got a new download

0:35:180:35:21

where we answer questions that you guys send us in.

0:35:210:35:23

So if you want to check out the CBBC messageboards,

0:35:230:35:26

or the Friday Download page,

0:35:260:35:28

feel free to get more information from there.

0:35:280:35:30

So that is Hot or Not download complete.

0:35:300:35:32

CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

0:35:320:35:34

-Hey, guys, want to hear a really good joke about pizza?

-No. Never mind.

0:35:360:35:41

It's too cheesy.

0:35:410:35:42

It's hobbits galore in this week's Movie Mistakes

0:35:470:35:49

where we look at some of the biggest errors

0:35:490:35:52

from The Lord Of The Rings: Fellowship Of The Ring.

0:35:520:35:55

The Fellowship Of The Ring is the first

0:35:550:35:57

film from the trilogy following Frodo Baggins as he embarks

0:35:570:36:01

on a quest to destroy the powerful ring in the Middle Earth.

0:36:010:36:04

In this scene we see Gandalf catch hobbit Sam snooping around.

0:36:040:36:08

Poor Sam ends up being thrown on the table, but keep an eye on

0:36:080:36:12

the background to see if you can spot the major movie error.

0:36:120:36:16

RUSTLING Ah!

0:36:230:36:25

Sam, have you been eavesdropping?

0:36:270:36:30

I have dropped no eaves, honest.

0:36:300:36:32

I was just cutting the grass under the window there.

0:36:320:36:35

-A little late for trimming the verge, eh?

-I heard raised voices.

0:36:350:36:39

-What did you hear? Speak!

-N-Nothing important.

0:36:390:36:42

That is I heard about a ring, a dark lord

0:36:420:36:44

and something about the end of the world,

0:36:440:36:46

but please, Mr Gandalf, sir, don't hurt me.

0:36:460:36:49

Don't turn me into anything...unnatural.

0:36:490:36:51

No? Perhaps not.

0:36:520:36:54

I've thought of a better use for you.

0:36:540:36:59

Any luck?

0:37:000:37:02

Let's rewind for another look.

0:37:020:37:04

As Sam lies on the table, on the floor behind him

0:37:060:37:09

there is just one brown book closed on the floor.

0:37:090:37:12

A few seconds later and the book is now open

0:37:120:37:15

and two other books have magically appeared, too.

0:37:150:37:18

One book - three books. Let's see our next clip.

0:37:180:37:21

Here, later on in the film, Frodo and his fellow hobbits,

0:37:210:37:24

Sam, Merry and Pippin, are enjoying a drink in the Prancing Pony.

0:37:240:37:28

When Pippin leaves to get a drink,

0:37:280:37:30

keep an eye on their table whilst he is away.

0:37:300:37:33

-I'm getting one.

-You've had a whole half already!

0:37:330:37:36

That fellow has done nothing but stare at me since we arrived.

0:37:380:37:42

Excuse me.

0:37:450:37:46

That man in the corner, who is he?

0:37:480:37:51

Did you spot the mistake? Let's look again.

0:37:510:37:54

Pippin leaves the table and a few minutes later we see

0:37:540:37:57

a shot of three remaining hobbits sitting down with their drinks.

0:37:570:38:01

But here it is Pippin that is still sitting

0:38:010:38:03

and Merry is the one who has left the table.

0:38:030:38:06

Can you see?

0:38:060:38:07

Pippin you see to get up to leave, but Merry is the one who is missing.

0:38:070:38:11

The film-makers might want to do a disappearing act after that error.

0:38:110:38:14

All right, guys, so this is the first music download for 2012,

0:38:220:38:26

and to top it off I've got a special person with me.

0:38:260:38:29

-Aidan!

-Hello.

0:38:290:38:31

OK, so my first pick is - I think you'll like this -

0:38:310:38:34

it's Skepta with Hold On.

0:38:340:38:36

Let's have a look.

0:38:360:38:37

# Now everyone watching me like Jay-Z

0:38:370:38:38

# Watches the Nets

0:38:380:38:40

# Don't see myself on a skateboard but I stay on my grind

0:38:400:38:43

# Aiming for the top and I won't stop till I cross that finish line

0:38:430:38:46

# I see it like the deaf, I listen like the blind

0:38:460:38:49

# So if I can't hear them scheming, I still see the signs

0:38:490:38:52

# I never count the days, I make the days count

0:38:520:38:55

# Don't want to take my crown so I swim when they want to see me drown

0:38:550:38:59

# Smile when they want to see me frown

0:38:590:39:00

# Stand up when they want to see me down

0:39:000:39:02

# New and improved attitude You don't want to see me now

0:39:020:39:05

# They said I can't do it but I did it

0:39:050:39:07

# They love me all over the world, say my style is so prolific

0:39:070:39:10

# If said I live it the black Scott diss it

0:39:100:39:13

# Fresh air caught in a brand new suit

0:39:130:39:16

# Lift up the trophy and kiss it... #

0:39:160:39:17

-Did you like that?

-I really love that.

-I thought you would.

0:39:170:39:21

So some people might not know who Skepta is but he's a British rapper.

0:39:210:39:25

-BBK.

-He know more than me.

0:39:250:39:28

Yeah, I think the track's really, it's quite an inspirational track.

0:39:280:39:32

If you listen to the lyrics, it's about striving for your goal.

0:39:320:39:36

-And being true to who you are.

-I love the video.

0:39:360:39:38

-But I do think Skepta is amazing.

-Really?

-Definitely.

-He is amazing.

0:39:380:39:45

But, definitely, that is one to watch out this year.

0:39:450:39:47

OK, so another one of my picks. This is a new girl band.

0:39:470:39:52

I wouldn't call them a girl band, they're a duo. They're called Oh My!

0:39:520:39:58

And this is Dirty Dancer.

0:39:580:40:00

# ..Want a Patrick Swayze dirty dancer

0:40:000:40:04

# Take my hand and lead me in the corner, baby

0:40:040:40:07

# Cos I want to dance like crazy

0:40:070:40:09

# I wanna Patrick Swayze dirty dancer

0:40:090:40:14

# Take my hand and lead me in the corner, baby

0:40:140:40:17

# Cos I wanna dance like crazy

0:40:170:40:21

# You think I'm picky, cos I won't accept a shop but I'm not

0:40:210:40:23

# I'm not, I'm not, I'm not!

0:40:230:40:25

# Ah-ah-ah!

0:40:250:40:26

# You can't believe I'm not impressed I would take a guess you're shocked

0:40:260:40:29

-# Quite a lot

-Ah-ah-ah!

0:40:290:40:31

# Creative with your chat-up lines Stop staring at me like I'm in shop

0:40:310:40:35

# Err, stop!

0:40:350:40:36

# Until you show me how you move I'm chilling cos your dancing says a lot

0:40:360:40:40

-# A lot

-Ah-ah-ah!

0:40:400:40:42

# I've got a new pair of shoes they'll be ruined in the morning

0:40:420:40:44

# Probably gonna call in sick... #

0:40:440:40:47

OK, I really like that song. I think it's so now.

0:40:470:40:50

I think they're going to be massive for this year as well.

0:40:500:40:54

The dance moves are pretty cool as well.

0:40:540:40:56

I loved the dancing and I loved their new style.

0:40:560:40:58

It's completely different to anyone else.

0:40:580:41:01

-It's like Rizzle Kicks, but girls.

-I was about to say that.

0:41:010:41:04

-A female Rizzle Kicks.

-It's called Dirty Dancer,

0:41:040:41:08

cos it's based on Dirty Dancing the film. If you listen to the lyrics...

0:41:080:41:12

-Good old Patrick.

-Exactly!

0:41:120:41:14

But that's definitely one to watch for this year.

0:41:140:41:16

Another one of mine is Noah and the Whale with Give It All Back.

0:41:160:41:21

Let's have a look.

0:41:210:41:23

# Oh, well the world never seemed bigger than the summer of '98

0:41:240:41:31

# Living out in the suburbs, finding my escape

0:41:310:41:36

# I grew my hair to my shoulders

0:41:370:41:41

# Formed a band with a couple of friends

0:41:410:41:44

# And we called ourselves The Devil's Playhouse

0:41:440:41:47

# Influences like Bruce and the Band

0:41:470:41:50

# And we'd sing and play

0:41:500:41:54

# Simple three-chord rock and roll

0:41:540:41:57

# And miles away

0:41:570:42:01

# The other kids would just grow old

0:42:010:42:05

# But we're making our own way out

0:42:050:42:08

# Yeah, we're making our own way out... #

0:42:080:42:12

I love Noah and the Whale.

0:42:120:42:13

I mentioned them so much on the last series for amazing

0:42:130:42:16

Friday Download fans, you'd know about that.

0:42:160:42:19

-But, yeah, do you like the track?

-I do.

0:42:190:42:21

It's not what I would usually listen to.

0:42:210:42:24

-But then when you listen to it, it just chills you out.

-No, definitely.

0:42:240:42:29

I mean, I think they are going to be even bigger than

0:42:290:42:32

they already were last year.

0:42:320:42:34

It's weird, cos I've heard some of their songs on, like,

0:42:340:42:37

video games, but I've never seen their faces.

0:42:370:42:41

-Really?!

-Yeah.

-Oh! Maybe look them up on the internet.

-I will. I shall do.

0:42:410:42:45

This is probably one of my favourite track out of the picks.

0:42:450:42:48

-This is Nicola Roberts with Yo-Yo.

-Ah!

-Have a look.

0:42:480:42:52

# She's the last to know oh, oh

0:42:520:42:55

# Will it be a yes or no-oh-oh-oh

0:42:550:42:59

# You're swinging me up, you're swinging me down

0:42:590:43:04

# I feel like a yo-yo, yo-yo

0:43:040:43:07

# Yo-yo

0:43:070:43:09

# If you would only know what you have done to me, done to me

0:43:130:43:17

# Every time we meet, it's like I'm all day long to get ready

0:43:170:43:21

# Tried all the tricks, check out my list

0:43:210:43:25

# Voodoo, yoga, diet soda, look at me now

0:43:250:43:28

# Don't want to be the last know oh-oh-oh

0:43:280:43:32

# Will it be a yes or no-oh-oh-oh

0:43:320:43:36

# You're swingin' me down

0:43:380:43:40

# I feel like a yo-yo, yo-yo... #

0:43:400:43:44

My final pick is probably one of Aidan's favourite picks this week.

0:43:440:43:47

We love them here on Friday Download,

0:43:470:43:49

and I'm sure they'll love them, too.

0:43:490:43:51

Aidan, hold your ears. It's The Wanted with Warzone.

0:43:510:43:54

SCREAMING

0:43:540:43:56

# I can't believe I had to see

0:44:060:44:07

# The girl of my dreams cheating on me

0:44:090:44:12

# The pain you caused has left me dead inside

0:44:120:44:16

# I'm going to make sure you regret that night

0:44:160:44:19

# I feel you close I feel you breathe

0:44:190:44:23

# And now it's like you're here

0:44:230:44:25

# You're haunting me

0:44:250:44:28

# You're out of line You're out of sight

0:44:280:44:31

# You're the reason that we started this fight

0:44:320:44:35

# But I, I know

0:44:350:44:41

# I just gotta let it go

0:44:410:44:43

# I should've known

0:44:430:44:49

# I gotta learn to say goodbye now

0:44:490:44:52

# I throw my armour down

0:44:520:44:54

# And leave the battleground

0:44:540:44:56

# For the final time now

0:44:560:44:59

# I, I know

0:44:590:45:04

# I'm running from a warzone

0:45:040:45:08

# In our house, I hate that place

0:45:080:45:11

# Everywhere I walk I see your face

0:45:110:45:15

# Try to erase a memory with a flame

0:45:150:45:19

# And hope I never see you again

0:45:190:45:23

# Standing here, in this burning room

0:45:230:45:26

# You know the end could never come so soon

0:45:260:45:30

# It's clear to me The lies you use

0:45:300:45:34

# The ones that killed me ain't hurting you

0:45:340:45:38

# So I, I know

0:45:380:45:44

# I just gotta let it go

0:45:440:45:46

# I should've known

0:45:460:45:52

# I gotta learn to say goodbye now

0:45:520:45:55

# I throw my armour down

0:45:550:45:58

# And leave the battleground

0:45:580:45:59

# For the final time now

0:45:590:46:02

# I, I know

0:46:020:46:08

# I'm running from a warzone

# I'm running from a warzone

0:46:120:46:15

# And I can't do this any more

0:46:150:46:19

# I'm running from a warzone

0:46:190:46:21

# What are we fighting for?

0:46:230:46:28

# Ooh

0:46:280:46:31

# I'm running from a warzone

0:46:310:46:36

# Oh-oh-oh...

0:46:410:46:45

# I, I know

0:46:580:47:03

# I just gotta let it go

0:47:030:47:05

# I should've known

0:47:050:47:11

# I gotta learn to say goodbye now

0:47:110:47:15

# I throw my armour down And leave the battleground

0:47:150:47:18

# For the final time now

# I, I know

CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

0:47:300:47:32

Give it up for The Wanted. That's Music Download complete.

0:47:320:47:35

-Thanks very much.

-No problem, guys.

0:47:350:47:37

OK, we're back again with Weekend Download.

0:47:400:47:42

Now, this week, I've been doing some bike skills.

0:47:420:47:45

Why don't we take a look?

0:47:450:47:47

OK, we're back again with Weekend Download.

0:47:470:47:50

Now, I'm on location to find out just a bit about bike trials.

0:47:500:47:53

Now, if you don't know what bike trials are,

0:47:530:47:55

I suggest you keep watching.

0:47:550:47:57

Hi, I'm George,

0:48:050:48:07

I'm 14-years-old and I've been riding trials for five years.

0:48:070:48:10

I'm 15. I've been riding for two years.

0:48:120:48:14

Trials is my life. I pretty much live down here.

0:48:160:48:18

It's fun.

0:48:190:48:21

You get an adrenaline rush from it.

0:48:240:48:26

You get to ride with all your mates.

0:48:310:48:34

There's a whole range of tricks you can do in bike trials.

0:48:360:48:39

My favourite move is a helicopter.

0:48:390:48:41

You pivot your back wheel over the edge, then you spin yourself round.

0:48:410:48:46

Footjam tailwhip - put your front foot

0:48:460:48:48

in the front wheel, spin the frame round

0:48:480:48:51

and then you land on the frame again.

0:48:510:48:53

Anyone can do trials. It's for anyone.

0:48:530:48:55

If you haven't got access to a centre like this,

0:48:550:48:59

you could use a local skate-park or obstacles in your back garden,

0:48:590:49:02

like pallets or anything, really.

0:49:020:49:05

Unfortunately, we can't do the biking outside as it's too slippery.

0:49:080:49:11

But the guys have invited me inside where another is set up.

0:49:110:49:14

They're going to give me some top tips. Let's have a look.

0:49:140:49:17

-Hi, George.

-Nice to meet you.

0:49:210:49:23

So, George, what I need you to tell me today is, "What is trial biking?"

0:49:230:49:26

Trial biking's just - it's hopping on and off stuff,

0:49:260:49:29

like onto thin pipes or onto big tyres and stuff like that.

0:49:290:49:33

So you need a lot of strength to do that.

0:49:330:49:36

The bike itself hasn't got a seat. Can you explain why?

0:49:360:49:38

-Cos you don't need a seat for trials cos you don't sit down.

-OK.

0:49:380:49:42

And it's got much better brakes than a normal bike.

0:49:420:49:45

-Are these high quality brakes?

-Yeah, really good brakes so that

0:49:450:49:49

when you're hopping around on the back wheel,

0:49:490:49:51

you need to have good brakes so you can actually just stop.

0:49:510:49:55

You've got helmet, gloves and pads. Are they important?

0:49:550:49:58

When you're riding trials, you do tend to injure yourself,

0:49:580:50:01

so you need to be padded up to stop it from being so bad.

0:50:010:50:04

So, I think I should get padded up and you should be teaching me.

0:50:040:50:08

-That sounds good.

-Let's go.

0:50:080:50:09

Right, George, what's up? I'm ready to go.

0:50:110:50:14

-What you teaching me first?

-I'm going to show you a track stand.

0:50:140:50:17

Track stand's just all about balance. I'm going to show you now.

0:50:170:50:21

What does it look like?

0:50:210:50:24

It's just balancing on the spot and just use your brakes and your pedals.

0:50:240:50:28

Put them on and off. You've got to find the balance points.

0:50:280:50:32

-Do you want to give it a go?

-Right, so you pedal a little bit.

0:50:320:50:35

-Just turn your handlebars.

-It's hard.

0:50:350:50:38

It's all about practise and balance with this one.

0:50:380:50:41

-You see, I'm wobbling a little bit.

-That's it.

0:50:410:50:44

That's how you do it.

0:50:450:50:47

SMOOTH MUSIC

0:50:470:50:49

-I'm really enjoying this.

-It's good fun.

0:50:540:50:56

I'm getting used to it, picking it up quite quickly.

0:50:560:50:59

-Yeah, you're doing really well.

-What's next?

0:50:590:51:01

I was going to put you over some obstacles,

0:51:010:51:04

-as trials is about getting over stuff.

-Oh...

0:51:040:51:07

-Not a big one, I hope, I'm only a beginner.

-No, no, not a big one.

0:51:080:51:12

You can't jump straight onto the big stuff.

0:51:120:51:15

You have to start on the small stuff. Just that one.

0:51:150:51:18

-Are they easy or are they hard?

-It's harder than it looks.

-Honestly?

-Yeah.

0:51:180:51:22

Wicked. So, what you do I need to do? Give me two tips that I need.

0:51:220:51:26

Well, when you get to about that far behind it,

0:51:260:51:28

you just need to lift up your front wheel and when your back wheel hits,

0:51:280:51:32

you need to carry on pedalling to keep the momentum going.

0:51:320:51:35

-Wicked.

-Let's give it a go.

0:51:350:51:36

-Oh! I think I'll go again.

-You'll get it, don't worry.

0:51:380:51:43

Oh! Nearly.

0:51:460:51:47

Really close to it then. You'll get it next time.

0:51:470:51:51

-There we go.

-Try and do the one after as well.

0:51:520:51:56

CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

0:51:590:52:01

Richard's done really well for a beginner.

0:52:020:52:06

He picked up the stuff quite quickly. I'm really happy with his progress.

0:52:060:52:10

Although it looks hard, it's actually pretty fun.

0:52:110:52:14

Even if these guys do make it look easy.

0:52:140:52:16

Find yourself a bike with helmet and pads.

0:52:190:52:21

You can pick one up for about the same price as a BMX.

0:52:210:52:24

Try some smaller tricks and techniques

0:52:330:52:35

before tackling the more serious moves.

0:52:350:52:37

Start with small jumps, such as kerbs, and work up to bigger jumps.

0:52:370:52:41

I can't believe it's all over! I've had so much fun today.

0:52:460:52:50

Unfortunately, they wanted their bike back.

0:52:500:52:53

Don't know how I'm going to get home.

0:52:530:52:55

Taxi!

0:52:560:52:57
