Basically, you get to make your own Friday Download show.

You get to pick a presenter, a download, a stage,

what they're going to wear, that's my favourite part.

Cel went with the black jeans, blue jumper, the musical belt.

Oh, Cel, you look great.

Cos today is our big Radio One weekend show,

we'll be giving you all of the backstage gossip.

Funny you should say that cos we've been given access to all areas.

So, I'm going to ask. Who likes One Direction?

They're pretty cool.

Obviously now, you're pretty famous with this whole Britain's Got Talent

lark, has things changed at home, do you feel like different people?

I mean, no, because we want to stay as grounded as possible,

like, down to earth.

Obviously we still speak to our friends and stuff,

it's just a lot harder cos you get noticed a lot more

and sometimes you'll be on the street

and there'll be a group of girls that just surround you.

-I bet you love it, though!

It's great to know that a lot of people have appealed

to our message that we try to push out when we did the song

and we've had a lot of people come forward

and say how it's helped them.

-Aw, that's so sweet.

-I mean, that's the most important thing to us.

Now, onto more serious business, I've heard about the "BAM handshake",

the Bars & Melody handshake that you do before you go on stage.

the energy that everybody was giving out from the crowd.

Cos I told everybody, "Pray for sun!" And we got it.

The best thing about Big Weekend, I think, is that it's a free event.

This is my fourth time at Radio 1's Big Weekend and the first time

I performed at this amazing, amazing fantastic weekend,

Prince William and Kate actually came to watch my show.

I feel like it was the start of something great, for me,

in terms of my live performances.

So, that's why I love it!

and they let me audition for the A-troupe! How cool is that?

Before we start properly, obviously, got to do this.

Yes. Obviously the dolphin tail is what Chris your choreographer does

to get your attention.

We are massive fans of The Next Step here on Friday Download.

But for anybody who hasn't seen the show - and if you haven't,

where have you been? - can you tell us a little bit about the plot

and what it's actually about?

The Next Step follows the lives of ten dancers

and how they strive to reach a common goal

of winning this big dance competition, called the regionals.

So pretty much we just go through a whole bunch of trials

and a bunch of drama

-and then we all kind of come together.

-Come together,

and, like, put aside our differences to reach that common goal.

Get focused, OK? This is serious stuff.

-A-Troupe auditions!

-I've learned a lot of dance moves from watching,

and I thought I could do a little audition to be in the A-Troupe,

for the next spot that becomes available.

-I mean, you never know.

-Exactly.

You always gotta be prepared.

-All right, all right.

-OK, so this move...is called the golfer. OK?

-The golfer.

-Yeah, so you just tee it up...

..bam! Two, three, four...

And then you tee it up again.

Bam, and it's out, out, out, out.

Rich, have you got an experience?

Yeah, I got picked on mostly for being different, I think.

Like with clothes... Like outside of school...

I don't know, just name-throwing all the time, for me.

But you've just got to learn to ignore it.

You've got to think, "This is who I am, I like to be different."

Leondre and Charlie,

your rap in your audition

for Britain's Got Talent was about anti-bullying.

RAPS: I'm just a kid I don't want no stress

My nerves are bad My life's a mess

You know I have no dad I'm living with my mum.

Can you tell us about your experiences?

Ever since I was young I've been different to everybody else.

The way I dress, the music I listen to.

And it just seemed like people didn't like it,

and I've never known why.

And...it just wasn't, it wasn't a fun time for me.

And I had it since Year Three, Year Two,

all the way up to now, really.

-So how do you deal with it?

-I mean,

music was my escape when I was getting bullied.

And I just wrote down my feelings, I used to write a lot of poems.

And that just helped me get everything off my chest

and I'd scrap it then.

What would you do? Like write the lyrics and sing it to yourself,

or just getting your feeling out there on paper?

I'd just write it down and never look at it again.

It's just there.

It's not a good thing to look back on,

it's just something to get off your chest.

That's a good way to do it, get it out of your head and onto paper,

-and it's gone, it's not inside you.

-Just find a way to express yourself

in what you love or are good at.

If you've got a talent, then express your feelings through your talent,

or if there's something you like to do, express it through that.

Writing in your diary.

I did have a diary at one point.

It actually did help, thinking about it.

I forgot I had a diary! Thanks, Rich! I'm going to go find it!

But, yeah, I used to write in it

what had happened at school and anything I was upset about

that I didn't really... I could make a big deal out of it

or just write it down. But I would say,

writing stuff down is a good way to get the stress out, and the anger,

and the upset, but I do think it's important...

Well, keep it private, yeah, but I think it's important

to speak to somebody,

to speak to somebody that you trust.

-There's always somebody.

-Always.

That's why I like Charlie, he's just so open to everything.

Sometimes we have heart-to-hearts.

-Aww.

-Me and Rich do that!

-We always have heart-to-hearts.

We should have a group heart-to-heart.

All my best friends are girls, girls are so easy to talk to,

-because you don't feel awkward around them.

-Got loads of girl mates.

This, like, doesn't just happen to us regular folk.

Apart from you guys, you guys are famous.

But it happens to proper famous people!

If you've been picked on or if you're having a rough

time in school or being bullied, just always know

that when you focus on positive things, it always

takes your mind off of what's going on in your life,

and helping others also helps you feel better, as well.

Jessie J actually wrote a song about being picked on at school,

called Who's Laughing Now?

Just putting it out there, there's nothing wrong with being dyslexic,

because I had to have help at school, and they usually get,

like, a teacher to sit with you,

and I felt really insecure and people used to laugh at me

for that, as well, so...

Some people just work better one-on-one.

Yeah, of course, everybody works different.

My brother's dyslexic, my brother Jacob,

and he had a hard time in school, he got bullied a lot,

and just seeing that is not nice. I tried to help him through it.

It's always good to have someone there for you,

and I felt me being there for him is helping him a lot.

Well, it's not very hot, cos it's cold,

Hot, in my opinion, because you get to meet amazing people

Being backstage is hot, but we don't get the energy

of the crowd in the front of the stage, so you guys are winning.

that you should always wear a jumper like this in a festival,

I mean, these ones are probably going to get ruined.

I'm wearing, like, heels on the grass,

so that's not really a good look.

Trademark sunglasses are very, very, very important.

I think mine get more and more elaborate

He's amazing, incredible.

It was amazing to be in the studio with someone like that,

because he knows the insides and outs of everything with music.

Ella, I'm in the middle of my GCSEs right now

and loads of our audience are revising for tests

and exams right now.

-So I believe you took yours when you were on X Factor.

-I did.

How did you manage to stay on top of your revision

whilst also being on the show at the same time?

I found it really hard.

I was trying to balance my auditions with doing exams and stuff,

but I always just had to find spare time or spare moments

and try and balance it out and work out your priorities, I think.

So, Ella and Anais, you're both first timers,

so I'll explain how this works.

Basically, Hot Or Not is the part of the show where we bring up topics

and discuss whether things are hot or not,

and if we think they're hot, we sit on...

And if we think they're not, then you going to sit on...

-Exactly.

I think I'm going to kick it, and I threw mine over here,

so I'm going to go and get it.

Tickling. Being tickled is my hot or not.

I don't really know if I like it or not.

I have a weird laugh, as well,

Tickling is that annoying thing where it's so annoying

because you're laughing and can't get your point across.

Yeah, you're so angry, you're, like, laughing

but you really hate the person that's doing it. "Get off me!"

-I always tickle my brother.
