Well, I love doing the upbeat songs

because it gets the crowd going and everything

but after you do like five or six upbeat songs in a row,

it's really nice to just stand in one place and sing a song, yeah.

Now, I actually heard that you have a specific warm up routine?

I like to do a little work out before and if it's not, like,

I'm working out right below them as my opening act is onstage.

Well, as you can tell,

the British weather isn't as nice in the summer as it is in California.

It's cosy.

Regular denim with black leather sleeves,

X Factor in the USA. What do you miss most about it?

-Kelly Rowland.

But then it was exciting knowing where you are coming out with music,

They had actually contacted my management

to see if I wanted to feature on the song

and I really liked the song, I thought it was awesome.

And it was funny, I recorded my part in Los Angeles

and even shot my part of the music video in Los Angeles.

-But had never met them until yesterday.

-Well, how was it meeting them? Was it good?

-It was good.

They're really, really nice guys. They're really sweet.

Now, my next pick is Austin Mahone with Mmm Yeah.

# Boy, you make me feel so right... #

I love fashion, and there's nothing I love more than

customising my old clothing into something fresh and new.

Last week at school, we learnt how

to recreate an old T-shirt into every summer's must-have - a fringe vest.

Now, I'm going to show you how to do it too.

Even celebs love to rock this cowgirl look.

Hi, Anais. You are right, fringes are on trend,

and good for you, because we need to bring fringes back.

All you need for this is an old T-shirt,

a pencil and a pair of scissors.

Right, let's get styling.

First, take your T-shirt and lie it out flat.

Then take your pencil and mark

where you're going to cut your sleeves and neckline.

My tip is not to use a pen because I don't want to stain my T-shirt.

The next step is to use your scissors.

If you're one of our younger viewers, please get an adult to help you.

Cut out your sleeves and neckline using the pencil mark as a guide.

Please take your time with this

as you want to get it just right.

Also, if you don't want anything to go to waste,

you can even use your sleeve as a headband. Ta-da!

The next step is to cut the fringes in your T-shirt.

Don't go too far up, just to where your trousers start.

Try to keep them a centimetre apart.

Once you finish cutting, make sure you pull on each strip

so they're nicely separated.

You should end up with a stylish T-shirt like this.

If you missed any of that, here's a quick recap.

Step one - take an old T-shirt.

Mark out where you're going to cut your sleeves and neckline

with a pencil.

Step two - take your scissors

and cut along your pencil markings.

Step three - cut 1cm strips from the bottom of the T-shirt

to where your trousers start.

Stretch out the strips.

Right, there's only one thing for it.

You get an old T-shirt at home, any one you have,

and then you get some pencils and you draw up

and then you cut the sleeves and the neck and then cut up the edge,

so you get the nice little frills that dance in the wind like this.

Yeah. I like the colour most.

Do you like the colour most? Yeah, I like blue.

-I like the fringe.

-The frills at the bottom.

-I like the frilly bits.

First up, out in cinemas this week is The Fault In Our Stars,

which is most definitely only for you older ones.

It tells the story of two teenagers, Hazel and Gus,

who meet at a cancer support group who share the same

sense of humour and dislike for convention.

Just to warn you - if you don't like sad stories, this isn't for you.

Here's Ansel Elgort, who plays Gus,

to tell Friday Download how difficult it was to bring to life

a character from the pages of a book to the big screen.

Hi, Friday Download. It was definitely daunting at first.

Everyone loves this guy so much, loves his story so much,

so I really just didn't want to mess it up.

-What?

-Hmm?

Huh?

He was already made for me in the book,

so I really went to the book and made sure

I paid homage to the story and to who he is described in the book.

-You two are so adorable.

-We're just friends.

Well, she is, I'm not.

In real life I'm a little bit like Augustus.

I think Augustus is goofy and theatrical and over the top,

and so am I at times.

But Augustus is also romantic

and I think he appreciates the little moments and the little things

he can do for Hazel, and I also consider myself romantic that way.

I am in love with you, Hazel Grace.

And I know that love is just a shout into the void

and that oblivion is inevitable, and I am in love with you.

The Fault In Our Stars is a very popular story for a good reason.

I think that everyone can have a meaningful life.

and her fairy friends are sprinkling their magic once again in the

swashbuckling animated adventure Tinkerbell And The Pirate Fairy.

Orangutan Rescue: Back To The Wild

tells a story of these cute, intelligent

and fascinating orang-utans who've become one of the world's most

endangered species.

For a baby orang-utan, the most dangerous place to be

is on the ground, as they are prone to predators.

So lesson one, the most important lesson,

is getting off the ground and up into the trees.

You can see the heights marked on the trees.

We basically need to know at what height they're hanging out.

If they're more likely to be on the ground then they're probably

not as ready to go to the forest.

What out for inseparable best buddies Rocky and Rickina.

These two adorable baby orang-utans are constantly glued to each other.

They even do all their exercising hugging.

So cute!

Jessica, this happens to everybody.

We all have groups of friends and sometimes they fall out

and sometimes you are stuck in the middle.

I was in a situation where two of my friends...

I was friends with one of them,

wasn't really friends with the other...

I was hanging out with them for the day,

and you know that saying two's company, three's a crowd...

Well, that sort of thing happened and I ended up falling out

with my friend cos I didn't like the other guy.

We didn't really get along after that very well.

It wasn't really ever resolved. I wish I had What's Up, Download,

cos I would've sent in and asked for some advice.

-Has this happened to you, Harvey?

-Many times.

Just make sure you don't get involved and let them

do their thing. Maybe be a good friend and organise a good day out.

I agree with that.

My advice would be to always make friends two, three days later,

once you've had time to cool off.

Then you come back, apologise and everything's fine.

So if your other friend got involved and took sides, then I'd be

annoyed at them cos I'd be like, "Well, it's nothing to do with you.

"It's not really your problem.

"Me and my friend are going to sort it out, so let's just..."

-Taking sides is the worst possible...

-Definitely....

..thing to do.

The Britain's Got Talent boys that joined us, Bars and Melody,

who joined us on the show a couple of weeks ago, had this to say...

The best thing to do is leave them to it,

cos they were friends before and they can't dislike each other

that much, so they're going to make up some time.

So just leave them to it.

-If they're the best of friends, they'll make friends again.

-Yeah.

-Great advice.

Stay out of it. Now, I wonder what Ella Henderson had to say.

I would definitely support both of my friends and I would get them

to both sit down and talk it out and make friends again.

Ella Henderson there decided that it was good to get involved

where as Bars and Melody said to stay out of it.

But both options work, it just depends on the people.

Some of you on the CBBC website have got involved.

I definitely agree with this person, and that's Lavender Loopy Kangaroo.

"First, picking sides is not a good idea.

"If you weren't there when the fall out happened, don't get involved."

Exactly. That's what I think.

And then there's Crystal Plain Zebra - "I would talk to each of them

"privately and find out their opinion,

"then try to bring them closer. But don't get too involved.

"Maybe have a sleepover and don't tell them you invited each other."

I don't think that would be a very good idea to be honest.

-I feel like that would clash.

-It could work both ways.

Maybe if they get together and they bond then maybe it could resolve it.

Actually, that's a thought cos if one person was quite stubborn

and the other person wanted to resolve it,

the fact that you were both there together...

You can't ignore each other if you're there.

Last one - Crimson Squashy Queen, "I recently had a falling out

"with one of my friends and all my other friends got us together

"in a circle of truth and shared what we liked

"and disliked about each other, and it really helped me

"and my friends sort out our differences."

Circle of truth?!

No, I tried that back in the day!

You know what, it would be great

to say what you liked about each other,

but saying what you don't like about each other...

-it could get a bit touchy.

-Sometimes things should be left unsaid.

-Keep that one to yourself.

I think the sleepover one was quite cool. I quite liked that one.

Your body is the controller. Oh, yes, we're playing it on the Kinect.

So, get rid of them.

Today we are going to play the tennis part of the Xbox game.

-But before we do that, Dionne, we need to create you an avatar.

And this is one of the cool features about this game,

is that it uses the camera in the Kinect

and does this weird kind of facial-recognition mechanism thing.

And it creates an avatar that looks very, very similar to you.

So we're going to do that now, we're going to create your avatar.

It all feels a bit modern, doesn't it?

So your first Need To Know is the different game modes.

Now, obviously, it's sports, so tennis isn't the only mode on there.

You can also do rock climbing, jet skiing, target practice,

football and there is one more...

I got to give you it, that was a good shot.

..which is bowling,

so they're different modes you can try.

Now, they're all quite good modes.

There are some dramatic levels, so I would say this is one

for you older ones, just due to the nature of some of the levels.

But, you know, there's a bit there for you to play with, at least.

There's a good few for you to try your hand at

and see how good you are at it.

Your next Need To Know is that it is the Kinect,

so there are no controllers to play the game.

You are the controller. Now, as you can see,

these to are kind of doing actually really well, here.

Dionne just missed it, but their body is the tennis player.

Now, as fun as that is, Rich,

how are you finding having the body as the controller?

-I love it now. I weren't loving it at first.

-Dionne?

-I think it's quite good once you get into it.

-Oh, no!

Good once you get into it?

-Yes.

-Do you not find it's quite fiddly, though?

Sometimes it doesn't work all the time?

-Too fiddly.

-Yeah, like...

-Too fiddly?

And it takes long to get into.

I just timed that perfectly and you didn't hear.

The other thing I'd say about that is,

I don't know about you when you play games,

but you don't always want to be active, you know?

When you come in, you don't want to be like, "Oh, yeah!"

You just want to sit and jam with the controller, which you can't do

as it is all through the Kinect, which is slightly annoying.

But I think it is a step in the right direction of technology,

of trying to get a game without a controller.

-Would you say it's better than the Xbox 360 Kinect?

-Definitely.

And your third Need To Know is about the tennis game.

You can play this with a friend or online or against the computer,

so we've got two friends playing here now.

Guys, talk, to me, you've played the game - how are you finding it?

I'm finding this really, really, annoying.
