What sort of line could we use?

Let's take a look...

Now it's time to get squiggling!

Let's all squiggle a cowboy's boots.

We need a curved line for that. I love curved lines!

Start at the bottom...

There. That's the toe of our cowboy's boot.

What's yours like?

We'll need some straight lines for that.

to make our arch.

We need a fence too.

We'll use some straight lines for that.

Start at the side of the gate.

We need some poles along the fence.

and across.

Another one here.

And some the other side.

Let's colour it in.

What colour are you going to make yours?

The ranch is ready!

Oh! Mrs Horse, have you seen this cow?

Oh, yes. She went to the barn dance, over there.

Of course! Lizzie loves to dance.

OK. Let's go!

Well, looky there. Three dancin' cowboys.

I don't see Lizzie anywhere, though. Do you?

I'll bet my boots she's one of them there dancers.

But they're all wearing a disguise.

Aw! How am I going to tell which one's Lizzie?

Don't worry. Let's see if we can get a clue from the Squiggle Pad.

Look! She's left a footprint behind.

Here's a dog. I wonder what his footprints will look like.

That's a different shape from Rebecca's wellies.
