Can you guess what I am?

-I'm walking sideways...

And look! Two snappy claws. Snap-snap!

I'm a crab!

Shall we squiggle our own crab? What sort of line could we use?

Let's have a look.

It's a round line!

Have you got your Squiggle Pads and Squiggle Sticks ready?

Now it's time to get squiggling!

Let's all squiggle a crab.

We need a round line for that.

I LOVE round lines. Squiggle one with me.

Put your Squiggle Stick on your Squiggle Pad.

Let's start with our crab's shell.

Round...and back... to the beginning.

To REALLY make it look like a shell,

let's squiggle a spiral inside.

Theres our crab's shell.

Now we need a curved line to draw the crab's head.

Two eyes...

and a smiley mouth!

Last of all, his claws, pointing out of his shell.

We need straight lines for those.

One...

..two.

And for the snappy bits on the end,

let's use a curved line...

with a straight line...across.

Curved line...

And again.

A few legs to help him move.

One, two, three, four.

This crab is a hermit crab. Shall we meet him?

Hello, Herman. I'm Squiglet. That's a very nice shell.

We'll need that round line again, to squiggle the sun.

Now a straight line for the beach.

And a wa-a-a-avy one for the sea.

Why don't you colour your sun in yellow,

and squiggle some lovely blue sky too.

Ooh! Nice beach!

-But I can't see anything I'd like to live in.

-There must be something.

Oh, hello, little seal! I like your armbands!

-Me too!

-Oh! Thanks!

But I don't need them any more. I've passed all my swimming tests.

So I can swim without them now.

-Congratulations!

-Yes! Hey, Herman,

those armbands have an inside, just like your shell.

Well, if you'd like one, go ahead! I'm off for a swim!

A big curve for our door.

And a little pole on top for our flag.

That's a triangle.

There! It's done!

Why don't you colour your sand castle in?

I'm going to make mine yellow.

Oh, yes! This is wonderful!

The sound of the waves is relaxing, as long as they're not too big.

but I can't live in a house that gets swept away each time a wave comes in.

You know, Herman, that cone's sort of the same shape as your shell,

-only bigger.

Maybe I could live in it. Wait here.

-Really comfy!

-Great!

I wish I had a bit of ice-cream left to celebrate.

Still, one little nibble of this won't hurt.

Mmm! Oh, maybe I'll have just another tiny bit.

Mmm!

Herman! Be careful!

Mmm! Oh, yummy!

Mmm! Ah! Mmm! Aaaah!

Hey, Herman, nice pants!

Ooooh!

Oh...maybe I should just face it. I'm never going to find a new home.
