Hello, everyone.

BRRRRR! Ooooh! Squiglet here.

Oh, it's cold today. Some animals like the cold.

How about one that waddles like this?

BOING! BOING! BOING! BOING! BOING!

A penguin! Penguins love the cold.

Shall we squiggle our own penguin? What sort of line could we use?

Let's have a look.

It's a curved line.

Have you got your Squiggle Pads and Squiggle Sticks ready?

Now it's time to Get Squiggling!

Let's all squiggle the shape of a penguin.

We'll need a curved line. They're great.

Squiggle one with me.

Put your Squiggle Stick on your Squiggle Pad.

Up, up, curve over,

and back down the other side.

That's my curved line. What's yours like?

Great! Now we need a straight line across the bottom.

There - that's the shape of a penguin.

She can have two little flappy flippers.

One...

two.

A curved line for her belly.

Two eyes.

One...two.

A triangle for her beak.

And two feet.

One.

Two.

There's our penguin. Shall we meet her?

Say the magic words with me -

Their hats are helping them keep nice and warm.

A bobble hat is always good for keeping you warm. Let's draw one.

That's a circle.

I'm going to colour mine in red with a yellow bobble.
