-First, let's join Celyn.

-She has some unusual pets.

-My Pet

-I'm Celyn

-and I have a stick insect.

-Here's my stick insect.

-I had the stick insects as

-little eggs about two months ago.

-They're this size now.

-They can grow

-to about half a metre long.

-I don't want mine to be that long.

-They're favourite food is leaves.

-I change the leaves once a week.

-I can't see them very well.

-They look like sticks!

-I'm looking through a magnifying

-glass to try and find them.

-They're so small.

-I've found one.

-I'm going to try and fetch it.

-To clean them,

-I must find them all...

-..pop them in a pot, which is hard

-because they climb everywhere...

-..and then replace

-the old leaves with new leaves.

-I place the old leaves in a bag.

-I place new leaves in the basket

-and put the stick insects back in.

-Then I spray some water inside.

-I only spray the leaves to prevent

-the stick insects drowning.

-It has holes across its entire body.

-That's how it breathes.

-When it grows, it sheds its skin.

-Here it is.

-That's my stick insect.

-but its eyesight is very poor.

-It uses its nose to move around.

-It follows its nose!

-Ha-ha!

-Secondly, T for toucan.

-These beautiful birds

-belong to the woodpecker family.

-You won't see them in Wales -

-they live in South American forests.

-Some people keep toucans as pets.

-To be honest,

-they're better than parrots.

-They don't answer back!

-Thirdly, t for tsita (cheetah).

-This large cat is

-the fastest animal in the world.

-It could run faster than my car.

-If I had a car!

-A cheetah has black spots.

-They help them

-blend into their surroundings.

-They live in Africa and Asia.

-Never play cards with them.

-They're cheaters!

-We keep ducks.

-They're called Myfanwy and Wilma.

-We've had the ducks

-for about a year.

-Ducks walk like this.

-They like company and you usually

-see two of them together.

-Ducks eat duck food.

-We feed them

-every morning and evening.

-We don't have a pond in school.

-We give them water every day.

-This is where the ducks live.

-The ducks lay an egg or two

-every day.

-They eat plants and drink water.

-Seeds and nuts.

-Small fish.

-Insects.

-All kinds of things.

-Those are our ducks.

-We're the Dafis family.

-we're looking after the cattle.

-We bring the cattle in

-from the fields every day.

-Dad's gone to fetch the cattle.

-These are Friesian cattle.

-They're black and white.

-These are young cattle.

-They're not being milked yet.

-Hoy! Ssh-ssh!

-We're filling buckets with cake

-to feed the calves up there.

-These calves are two months old.

-We're feeding them cake today.

-They eat it every day.

-They only eat cake, grass and water.

-They're too old to drink milk.

-All the calves are in the shed.

-We're taking milk to the calves.

-These calves are given milk

-because they're still young.

-There we go,

-they're all fine for today.

-We'll do it all again tomorrow.
