Once upon a time, not so very long ago,

there were two alpacas from the Andes, called...

They worked for the Two By Two Animal Agency.

Well, "worked" might not be exactly the right word.

And things didn't always go according to plan.

Stop, Nuzzle! Stop!

That's done the trick!

Still, their hearts were in the right place and they muddled along

in true alpaca fashion.

-And what would you like?

-To be hairdressers.

-Or astronauts.

But what happened to Nuzzle and Scratch? Where are they now?

Well, they're still out there...

..and they're about to begin their toughest and most important job.

Across the country, thousands of hopeful safety rangers

are queuing up to be chosen for CBeebies' safety hoof camp.

But with only two places, we have to choose the best!

Who will they be?

Nuzzle and Scratch?!

BOTH: Safety is fun!

Together with their new boss, the super safe Miss Mulberry,

Nuzzle and Scratch are busy at work

in state-of-the-art Hoof Camp Safety Training Headquarters

in a top-secret location.

Their mission? To learn about safety and help keep you safe, too!

And to earn a few rosettes along the way.

But to get your hoovies on this little beauty,

you first have to spot three hazards

in today's super-important safety mission.

-NUZZLE AND SCRATCH: Safety mission?

And today's safety mission is a trip around the garden.

A garden?! They're all dirty and full of creepy crawlies.

-And I'm allergic to flowers and grass and...

-And gardens.

I think this calls for a safety hovie. Come along!

Hey, cool safety rangers.

The garden -

a great place for a safety ranger to relax with friends...

..maybe play a favourite game...

..or just sit under a tree with a great book.

That's nice.

But there are some hazards

that a keen-eyed safety ranger has to be alert for.

I mean, just look at those shears.

They are very sharp and can easily cut little handies and hoovies. Ow!

-Stay well clear of any garden tools.

-Oh, yes, yes.

Ask a grown-up to put them out of harm's way.

Now what about these berries and leaves? Don't they look lovely?

Yeah, yeah.

But you must never, ever, ever put them in your mouth,

as they can make you VERY ill.

-You're being sick!

And what's this? An open garden gate?!

Tut, tut, tut!

A gate should always be shut, and if it isn't,

make sure a grown-up shuts it.

Shut the gate, grown-up.

Now you can have lots of safe fun in the garden.
