The thing is, Skitter, I don't have anything I can do at the show.

Of course you have! Everyone's got something special they can do.

Well...I can do lots of things.

But not like you. Nothing that's really special.

-But where do we start? I'm not good at anything.

I think I'd better keep an eye on the competition.

I know what I'd do for the show. Throwing and catching.

And I'd dance. I love dancing.

Well, if you can both help me get my invention working,

maybe we can visit the garden today and take part in the show.

Brilliant! What do we have to do?

Well, you both have very important jobs to do, Splish.

But if any of us gets our job wrong, the trip will be off. Understood?

These levers start up the machine. But that's my job.

-I need you two to follow me.

OK, these lights tell me whether my invention's working properly.

A green light means we're good to go. A yellow light is not so good.

And a red light is even worse. It means my invention is overheating.

-Then what happens?

-Everything stops

and our trip to the garden will be cancelled. Maybe for ever.

That's why I need you to keep your eyes on the lights, Splash.

If a green, yellow or red light starts flashing,

I need you to call over to Splish to...

Me? Where will I be?

-You'll be over there, Splish. Come on!

-On my way.

OK. Splish, when Splash calls a colour - say, for example, green -

I need you to drop a green coloured ball

into the green hole in this machine.

But if it's red, I need you to drop a red coloured ball

into the red coloured hole.

Or the yellow ball into the yellow hole. That's easy!

-Brilliant! Well, that should help to cool my invention down.

-OK.

Then, when the green light stays green for go,

we all jump onto the transporter pod over there. And...whoosh!

Off we go to the garden in time for the Showtime show!

-OK, ready for a test run?

Hello, Tippy. All ready for the garden talent show?

No, Mac. I wish I was.

But I just can't make up my mind what to do.

You see, I'm good at dancing but Shelly is doing that.

I'm very good at tricks.

I'm even good at juggling. One, two, three, four.

But Skitter has that covered. What can I do?

I can't sniff out sticks and I definitely can't balance.

-I CAN help pick up sticks, I suppose.

Yes, you are very good at helping.

But watching me pick up sticks isn't as much fun

as watching juggling or dancing.

It takes a lot of trying to make something work properly.

It took me ages before I got my Iconi-Screen to work.
