We're off on a colourful journey around the world.

I wonder who we're going to meet today?

This is Samburu Land in a country called Kenya in Africa.

It's very hot.

Why are all those people there?

They have gathered together by a well to collect water.

That's the well. A deep hole in the ground where someone has to go down

and collect the water in a bucket. Then it's passed back up

for the thirsty animals to drink.

That's amazing!

This is five-year-old Nintujigwa and his dad.

Hello, Nintujigwa!

They are walking to the well to collect some water.

You've got a bucket with you, Nintujigwa!

He has!

He passes it to the man to collect the water from the well.

Down he goes to fill the bucket.

There.

Nintujigwa's bucket is full of water.

Nintujigwa is filling the trough for the animals to have a drink.

Then he has a long, cool drink himself.

You must be thirsty!

Yes, he is.

And look, so is Dad.

Everyone is thirsty.

His little brother, too.

Now they've all had a drink, they need some more water from the well.

The bucket is filled again

and poured into a big carton to take home.

But first, it's time for a wash.

Dad is washing Nintujigwa's little brother with cold water.

Oh! That looks really cold.

It does.

Nintujigwa is filling the trough with water again.

The animals are coming to have a drink.

A goat.

One, two, three thirsty goats!

And a thirsty dog!

And look! Two thirsty camels, too.

Hello! How do you do, camel? Are you well?

With all their hard work done,
