That's right, they're about to take control

of one of the most important days of Mum and Dad's lives.

The clock is ticking and time is running out.

Today, we're in London, where we've got two girls

ready to make a real SPLASH with the best wedding ever.

I'm Lucy and I'm 11.

to mythical figures like mermaids,

there's plenty of inspiration to be found beneath the waves.

So Lucy and Freya are organising an underwater wedding.

Ooh, this could be a tricky one. I hope we don't get lost at sea!

Let's see if they sink or swim!

There's just two weeks to pull this wedding off so, at home,

Lucy and Freya have already been dreaming up ideas from the deep.

They've been busy planning transport, outfits,

some entertainment, a place to hold it, even a cake.

We have so many ideas in our head already,

we can't wait to get started.

The girls are really looking forward to Lucy's mum and dad -

Claire and Jim - finally tying the knot.

I really want my mum and dad to get married

so that we can all have the same surname.

When they get married, it'll be really good,

because they'll all be one big family.

But, with all this secret planning going on,

Mum is starting to feel like a fish out of water.

-CLAIRE:

-I am SO out of my comfort zone!

I like to be the one doing all the organising.

I like to be the one making the lists and ticking the things off!

And Joker Jim is also expecting a taste of his own medicine.

If the girls want to put on an underwater wedding,

they'll need somewhere that Mum and Dad can take a dip.

'and paddled downstream to the Dorset coast...

'where there's definitely water, and lots of it.'

Now that we're here, Lucy and Freya can't wait

to jump straight in to their planning.

The girls' ideas mean this will be a wedding like no other.

They don't want it BY water -

they actually want it UNDER water.

This wedding will be exciting

cos it's never been done on Marrying Mum And Dad before.

It'll be out of the ordinary and it'll be cool.

This pool that they've found will be the perfect venue

for Mum and Dad to get deep.

INSTRUCTOR: You happy with that?

It was hard to breathe through it.

But, to spend some serious time below surface on the big day,

everyone will need to learn how to scuba dive.

So Mum and Dad are going to have to do this on their wedding day,

cos they haven't done scuba diving before either.

And it's not that easy.

-That was horrible!

Uh-oh.

Lucy's finding out that using scuba gear to breathe underwater

can be tricky at first.

Let's hope the happy couple can handle it on their big day

or this wedding might sink without a trace.

How are they about getting wet or cold?

Er, my mum doesn't like getting cold.

Back at the venue, the girls' progress is a bit mixed.

Lucy still hasn't managed a length underwater, whereas Freya...

we wanted to do some synchronised swimming,

so we're doing everything in sync.

'of dance and gymnastics performed at the same time as trying to swim.'

cos it is very important, after all.

If the girls hire this cool cruiser, it will be a seriously glam way

for the happy couple to sail to their wedding.

These boats cost over a quarter of a million pounds

and are normally graced by popstars and supermodels.

'It looks like this is definitely the transport for Mum and Dad.

Lucy and her cousin, Freya, are halfway through

their two-week mission to organise Mum and Dad's big day underwater.

So far, they've found the perfect pool

for Mum and Dad to say some very wet "I dos".

I forgot to tell you, there's only one towel.

And they've planned some epic entertainment for a watery wedding.

in the dark about their plans.

What sort of theme are you going with?

Like...the characters from the Little Mermaid.

But Ariel, instead of a princess, she's going to be a queen.

'And Kerry has already sketched out some designs for Mum's mermaid dress

Obviously, he needs a wig to look like King Neptune, with a beard.

But, for the actual costume, it's a bit sort of Roman toga almost.

-I generally like that one more than this one.

'not the usual sort of thing a groom would wear.

'Kerry also has some basic versions of the outfit plans

'for the girls to check out.'

-It's very sparkly, very pretty.

ALL: Ohhh.

And an up-close look at what life is like beneath the waves

soon has their ideas flowing like water.

We could make a cake look like a giant aquarium, like this.

Oh, that's a good idea.

'Armed with Lucy and Freya's plan we're off to see a cake maker,

'so that the girls can explain what they're aiming to do.'

We're looking for, like, a kind of fish tank,

-with, like, pufferfish and goldfish and everything.

-Angelfish.

So if you want it to be a fish tank, you want it to be really big?

-Yeah, really big.

-How big do you want it?

We have to do lots and lots of fish and coral and starfish

and anything else you girls want to put in it.

'So for this cake to emerge from the deep,

And then we're going to cut it out with this cutter.

'with their edible sea life.'

We have tried to pump them for information

and they won't tell us anything.
