Episode 10 Meet the Pups

The final episode of Meet The Pups, and it's a huge day.

Time for the pups to leave home.

They're now only nine weeks old, and we've followed them

every step of the way, from when they were this size...

To the bouncing bundles they are now.

There's a calmness about Lola and Morgan.

Perhaps they sense what's to come?

I'm OK, I just want to be quiet.

Play, dad.

Aye, well perhaps a bit later you can

have a ball if you like.

I've already got it.

The messy pups and messy adults get a make over,

as it's the last chance for a family photo.

Make sure he does it properly because

I'm hoping to get a movie role next.

I could easily be in James Bond you know. The name's Bond. Morgan Bond.

Yes, look out Daniel Craig. How about you, Lola?

Are you ready for your close-up?

Well, my hair is a mess

and I don't know what he's trying to do with my nails.

You are more beautiful to me than the...all the balls in the park.

Morgan, you're such a romantic.

Are we going to be more famous than you?

Well, I don't know about that. Biscuit's next up for the spruce-up.

It's a wonderful idea, the family photo.

The children all scrubbed up,

sitting obediently with mum and dad.

The perfect family moment,

captured for posterity.

Yes, well, good luck with that one.

I think the pups have other ideas.

I'd say that was a wrap.

There's time for a final treat with the pups.

Luckily, Morgan's crew are OK with cow's milk.

It can give some dogs diarrhoea.

Hello? Where are you running off to?

My tummy feels a bit fluttery.

Oh, don't you worry. That's just nerves.

Come on, pups! Get stuck in.

Dad? I bet you get slobber chops.

Right, turn the camera off.

Go on, turn it off. I've erm...

got slobber chops.

Dad, you've drunk the lot!

That is well piggy, that.

Biscuit's carefully selected new owners are the first to arrive.

The breeders have made sure they can cope with having a new pup,

and will give it all the love and attention it needs.

Biscuit is a bit nervous at first. She seems unsure about going.

I'm not sure about this girly pink collar.

Despite her misgivings,

as soon as she's picked up,

Biscuit gives her new owners

a big sloppy kiss on the lips.

Phew, that's a relief!

Be good Biscuit, I'll miss you!

Oh, come on, Lola. Let's give her a proper sendoff!

Don't worry, you two.

She's going to be OK.

Goodbye, darling. Enjoy the park!

Oh, our little girl. She's all grown up.

Yep, there she goes. Away.

Forever. Is that longer than it takes to get to the park?

Erm, yes, Morgan.

Oh. Bye-bye Biscuit.

The pups are taking it all so much better than I am.

It's Bonzo's turn to leave next.

Looking at Bonzo, you'd never guess that his life was about to change

forever. He's so relaxed, he's almost asleep. Come on, Bonzo.

This is the beginning of a massive adventure, a whole new life!

Try and look a bit more enthusiastic.

Oh, well, I guess he just really is a cool dude after all.

So our show ends as their new life begins.

It's been a fascinating eight weeks, and a little exhausting.

But Lola and Morgan deserve a big round of applause and three cheers

for their tireless owners because guess what?

They're keeping Betsy. Hurray!

After all that hard work, I think we all deserve a dog treat.

So go on, bring on the happy montage.
