Well, let's have a think.

Marbles!

Ha-ha! They've just given me a great idea!

Let's try something!

-First, we need somewhere to make it!

Ah, now we also need an old tray,

so let's ask Scrappz for some help!

And we also need a piece of paper.

So, Sinead, let's have some fun

and make a marble-ous marble painting like this one here!

-It's marble-ous because we use a marble!

-SHE LAUGHS

-Are you ready?

-Yeah.

Brilliant! Let's get painting.

But before we do, we need to put our paper down on an old tray

or some cardboard, because this can get a little bit messy.

OK, here we go... Great! You can use

whatever coloured paint you like.

-What colour would you like to use?

-Pink, yellow, blue and purple.

Excellent choices. OK, here we go, let's line them up.

Now, let's get squirting!

First, the purple. You can squirt your lines anywhere you like.

We're going to do them across the page, like this.

The blue!

Pink!

And last but not least, Sinead...

Yellow! Now go back to your first colour

and do the same again, until you've completely covered your paper

in squirty lines of paint!

Now for the fun part.

Get ready to drop the marble! Ooh!

-Drum roll, please!

-DRUM ROLL

Three, two, one,

drop! Brilliant! Get ready to roll!

We're going to roll the marble up and down,

like this, or around and around,

so it squidges through the paint

and makes a lovely pattern, like this. And back down again...

-Fantastic! Are you happy with your painting, Sinead?

-Yeah!

Great! We'll leave it to dry, then.

That was fun, but I think we can have even more fun, don't you?

-Yeah!

-Great!

Let's make a big painting together!

Now this can get a bit messy,

so it's a good idea to put on an apron or some old clothes.

Follow me!

Woo! There we go! Very nice.

First, we need to put down a big tray on top of some old paper.

Then we need a nice big piece of new paper. Then, we need

lots of squirty paint. And we need something

big and round to roll, like...

a football! Fantastic!

OK, Sinead! Let's squirt away!

Sinead, can you pass me some purple paint?

That's it, lovely!

Orange, please!

Brilliant!

Now, we're going to drop the football in...

Let's get down and get ready to roll!

It's Minute-Make time, everyone!

Today, we're going to make something...

-GROWLING

-Hey! Who's that?

Hey, look!

It's Frank, my fun fur creature.

Made in a minute.

And to make one of these, you will need some sticky tape,

a plastic pot or bowl, some fun fur, a glue stick,

a paper plate, some cotton wool and we'll also need some googly eyes

that you can get from an art and craft shop.

I'll be back very soon.

There, I've got them!

Here are our googly eyes.

Now, do you think it's possible to make this -

one fur creature - in just one minute?

ALL: No way!

Oh! Well, I think I can. I'm going to have to be very quick

but don't worry. I'll remind you how to do it at the end.

-Are you ready?

-ALL: Yeah!

Are you ready? Great! Let's make it in a minute.

ALL: Three, two, one...

Start the clock!

The first thing we're going to do is turn the plate over

and put our bowl and cotton wool across the top

and get a long bit of sticky tape and stick all that together.

Now we're going to bring in our fun fur, like this

and wrap the whole thing up a bit like a present.

Let's put it all in there.

We're going to need quite a lot of sticky tape, I think.

It's fiddly and you might need an adult to help you.

There we go and another bit, I think, across there, like that.

Now, if we turn this over, we can make a little pinch there

for a nose and if we glue on our googly eyes, one there

and one there, I've just about got enough time

to make a fun fur creature!

I did it!

ALL: Yeah!

Phew! I made it and the great thing is,

you can make all sorts of fun fur creatures.

How about this one?

It has black and white fur with card horns and eyelashes.

You can even make this one,

with pink fur, feathery eyes and card horns.

Fun fur creatures, made in a minute. Why don't you have a go?

Here's a reminder of how to do it.

Let's go back to the beginning and take another look.

Put a plastic pot onto a paper plate

and stick the cotton wool on top with sticky tape.

Wrap some fun fur over the pot and tape it into place.

Make a nose shape and stick on the googly eyes

and your fun fur creature is finished.

Let's meet some more mini makers who have no idea I'm on my way.

Now, I've heard that you all like dinosaurs, is that right?

-Yes.

-You do? Great.

I think we should make a big dinosaur. Will you help me?

Yes.

OK then, Jake, Dominic, Simandeep, Harrison and Tiana.

Let's make it. Come on.

OK then, everyone. What could our dinosaur look like?

-Sharp teeth.

-Sharp teeth!

-Sharp claws.

-Sharp claws. Grrr! It's a good idea.

-What else can we think of?

-Spiky.

-Now where would the spikes be though?

-On its back.

On its back, well done! I think we're ready. Let's go.

We've got six paint brushes, six painters, so let's get painting!

Everyone grab a paintbrush and let's paint our dinosaur.

Now, how big should our dinosaur be?

-As big as a whale.

-As big as a whale? Now, that's pretty big, isn't it?

Paper plates painted yellow and red

make great dinosaur spikes and toenails.

-What sort of noises do dinosaurs make?

-Rarrr!

Dominic, I need a toenail.

Well done. Right, put plenty of glue on the back there. That's it.

And then finish off that foot. Perfect.

Ha ha. Well done. High five. Good man.

That's it. Keep going round. Keep going round!

I'm getting dizzy!

I'm going to put the bowl over there.

Make sure the ball goes inside.

Our dinosaur has got an eye.

And now we need some dinosaur scales.

Make our big dinosaur is great fun

so why don't you have a go making a small one of your own?

Try making an amazing brightly-coloured dinosaur.

Make it, play with it, have fun with it.

To make one you will need a card tube with the lid,

two small boxes, some foil, some glue and a brush,

tissues paper, a pen and some sticky dots.

Take the lid off your tube

and tape the boxes under it like this.

Now squash some kitchen foil into a dinosaur head shape.

Then tape it to the top of the lid.

Take another piece of foil and squash this into a tail shape.

And tape it to the end of the tube.

Next, stick green tissue all over the body and head of the dinosaur

with gloopy glue. If you haven't got green tissue,

you could use white tissue and then paint it.

When it's dry, put the head on the body.

Next you can add some details.

Tear another colour off the tissue paper into triangles and stick them

along the top of the body to make spikes.

Now give your dinosaur eyes.

Just draw a black dot on some white stickers for pupils

and stick them on.

You can even add other coloured stickers for decoration.

It's a mini-saurus.

Grrr!

but I wonder how our big dinosaur's coming along.
