Hello, Kickabout fans,

the weekend is here,

and with it comes plenty of footy

action to look forward to.

The FA Cup is back,

plus there are some exciting

European games to catch up

on from earlier this week.

And we've got all this lot

coming up on today's show.

I reveal my top tips

on how Manchester City

superstar Kevin De Bruyne can

improve your game.

missed this absolute sitter last

weekend in their game against Ayr

This week saw some fantastic goals

from Ji So Yun in Chelsea's 2-0 win

over Birmingham City.

Victory wasn't enough to take them

top of the table, though,

as a Nikita Parris double helped

Manchester City thrash Liverpool 4-0

to stay two points clear at the top.

Whilst in-form Arsenal moved up to

third with victory over Yeovil town.

The Gunners were on winning form

in the Europa League

as well, as they won 3-0.

And Celtic earned a deserved victory

against Zenit Saint Petersburg.

In the Champions League,

Mane scored a hat-trick to help

Liverpool thrash Porto 5-0

in their last 16 first leg tie,

whilst Real Madrid came

from behind to beat PSG 3-1.

Spurs produced a brilliant comeback

to draw 2-2 at Juventus

after going down 2-0

inside ten minutes.

Harry Kane started the fight back

before Eriksen added the equaliser.

And finally, Pp's men took a huge

step towards the quarterfinals

with a 4-0 victory over Basel.

They lead the Premier League by 16

points, are on course for the next

round of the Champions League,

remain in the FA Cup

and could win their first silverware

of the season if they beat Arsenal

in the EFL Cup Final next weekend.

And while the whole team

is in fantastic form,

there is one player from me who has

got it all.

And it is this guy.

Kevin De Bruyne.

De Bruyne.

Only one get to it...

But it is back with Kevin De Bruyne!

Manchester City's magical midfield

maestro is one of the best players

in the world at the moment.

This man would have stood

out for anybody today.

He was absolutely superb.

And De Bruyne still might get on it.

De Bruyne can do it all

on a football pitch.

He can play in any midfield

or attacking positions,

making him one of the best technical

players that the Premier

League has ever seen.

So if you want to improve your game

on the pitch, then Kevin De Bruyne

is the perfect player

to model your game on.

First chance of the game

that he has had!

De Bruyne can play as a number ten

on the left or right of a front

three and can also operate

in a deeper midfield role.

This allows him to see

where the the pockets of space

are to run into and also

where to deliver the

ball when he gets it.

He knows when to be disciplined,

when to run with the ball

and when to control the game

with his passing.

When you are in midfield and have

possession of the ball,

your main objective is to find

the space, but more importantly,

know how to use it effectively.

Get into the habit of looking right,

looking left and looking behind

you before you receive the ball.

You're already one step ahead

in knowing what to do next.

Remember, awareness on the football

pitch means intelligence

on the football pitch.

their brilliant Belgian.

De Bruyne has unbelievable technique

and has complete mastery of the ball

when it is at his feet.

His first touch always

allows him options.

He can control using any

and every part of his body,

being equally comfortable

on his left foot as

he is on his right.

To become a technical

player like De Bruyne,

you need to try and work

on perfecting your ball control.

You can do this by, number one,

practising to control the ball

from height with both feet.

Number two, using a wall to practise

controlling the ball.

Number three, work on developing

your trickery and tekkers,

so you've always got a skill to use

in the game when you need it.

And always remember,

if you practise your technique

on both feet, you'll become

a better all-round player.

His final ball is tremendous.

His set plays, they're

always on the money.

De Bruyne will go down in history

as one of the best modern-day

passers of the ball.

And from De Bruyne!

His execution, to see a pass

and then execute it,

it's on another level.

De Bruyne, what a ball that is.

When you're practising your passing,

concentrate on getting

a good body posture,

so you're not leaning back.

See with your eyes where you want

to play the pass and then

concentrate on getting a good strike

in connection with the ball.

Once you find your technique,

focus on trying to hit

a target over and over again

to improve your accuracy.

De Bruyne has had more assists

than any other player

in the Premier League this season.

And a key reason for this

is that he is an expert when it

comes to set pieces.

He will leave the free

kick to the Belgian.

What a free kick!

That was all in the delivery,

which was delicious.

Corners and free kicks?

He can do it all.

Here comes the Belgian.

Simple as that.

When taking corners,

focus on delivering the ball

into this area, which is known

as the second six-yard box.

The area between the

goalkeeper and defence.

It's a great header!

Swing it into that specific area

and you'll be taking corners

like KDB in no time.

When it comes to free kicks,

it's the same principle.

Practise over and over again

with the same technique,

but from different positions

on the pitch.

Find your connection and use

the Kevin De Bruyne technique.

Kevin De Bruyne is not just

a world-class player,

because he can assist goals,

he can also score any type of goal

from anywhere on pitch.

He predominately uses a side foot

technique as well as striking

the ball with his laces,

which enables him to get

pinpoint accuracy, but also

lots of power as well.

When it comes to finishing,

try to strike the ball

into the areas of the goal

which are difficult

for the goalkeeper to reach.

Practise taking touches out

of your feet and use

the De Bruyne side foot technique

to find the corners.

Then once you have started

to get your aim, do the same thing,

but go back about 20 yards,

to make the distance greater.

This means, when you through

on or receive the ball

on the edge of the box,

you will naturally know what to do

next, just like De Bruyne.

It's a brilliant ball.

There are six games to look

forward to after last

night saw Leicester,

Sheffield United, Chelsea

and Hull all in action.

In the late kick-off,

Huddersfield take on Man United

with the Terriers hoping to reach

the quarterfinals for the first

time in over 40 years.

Whilst Rochdale will be hoping

to pull off a shock victory

in their match against Spurs.

The Monday night game sees City

travel to Wigan and whilst many

will fancy the League One team

as underdogs, don't

write them off just now.

The Latics have won their last six

FA Cup games at home,

against Premier league sides.

in his under-7s game last Saturday.

Proof, he says, that hard work

and practice pay off.

I agree with that one.

And finally, it's smiles

all round for Stotfold Junior

under-11 girls ahead of their first

tournament final against

Luton All Stars under-11s.

Their team started out as a handful

of friends three years ago

and they have gone from strength

to strength ever since.

And the girls tell us their team

ethos is, "We play for each other".

I love that!
