Hey. Hello there, Tiddlers. This is a nice surprise.

Mr Bloom here. And when I'm not gardening,

I like to go out and about meeting up with you Tiddlers,

finding out what you're up to because you do all sorts.

Some of you, you like to go swimming,

others might prefer to visit a castle or even go to a holiday club.

Ooh, speaking of which, it's the Route Finder.

So, let's see who wants to get in touch today.

I love looking for mini beasts with my mummy

and running along this bridge.

Oh, it's a lovely park, here. You can certainly see why

the Tiddlers wanted me to visit. You know, I reckon I'll find loads

of goodies for my logbook. So, now we just need to find them, don't we?

Oh, I think I can see them down there.

Oh, look. Look, a green bug.

-Hey, Tiddlers, I found you. Hello, there.

-So, tell me what have you been up to this morning?

-Looking for mini beasts!

-Looking for mini beasts? Oh...

-What have you found, Immi?

-Well, I've found a slimy, shiny slug.

-A slug!

-And a little baby snail.

-What do you know about

-They have a home that they carry on their backs.

They have got a home on their backs. It's a bit like a caravan.

-Snails are one of the slowest creatures on the planet.

Yeah, they're really, really, really slow. Ben, what have you found?

A centipede. They have lots and lots and lots of legs.

Do you know what they do when they get very scared, Ben?

-They curl up.

-That's right, they curl up into a little ball.

You've done very well. I think it's my turn to look

for some mini beasts.

Let's see what we can find.

Ooh, I think... Here we go. I found little fella down here.

Can you see that?

-What type of bug do you think he might be, Ollie?

-A red beetle.

-Oh...

There he goes. Bye, Mr Beetle.

You know, this stick's been very useful. So, I think

I'm going to put it in my logbook. We'll pop it in there.

You know what, Tiddlers? I think I've found another creature.

Shall we go take a look? Well, come on then.

Wow! Look at this lizard. Shh, shh, shhh. (Be quiet.

(We don't want to disturb him.

(He's very still for a lizard, isn't he, Ollie?)

-ALL:

I was just being a silly sausage, wasn't I? It's a statue.

It's very nice, isn't it? Are there any more of these statues around?

-There's some on the animal trail.

-Tiddlers, shall we go and find them?

-ALL:

-Yeah.

-All right, you lead on, Tiddlers.

-Yay!

Hey, and I tell you what. Why don't you come along as well?

-Hey, what have we found here?

-ALL: We found a frog!

Hey, he's a big one, isn't he?

Right, Tiddlers. Ooh...can you see anything down there?

-I can't see anything.

-All right, let's carry on then.

Hey, Tiddlers, have you spotted anything? Ooh!

ALL: Mr Bloom, Mr Bloom. Look, an owl.

Wow, he's perched up there, isn't he?

-He's got a good view of the woods, hasn't he?

-ALL: Yeah.

-I know where there's a bat.

-You know where there's a bat?

-Yeah.

All right, well, lead on. Come on.

-ALL: The bat, the bat, the bat.

-Hey, you're right.

There's a bat hanging upside down in the trees.

-We found the animals on the animal trail.

-ALL: Yay!

-Yeah.

-Ooh, here we go.

Hey, it's the Route Finder going.

And...you know what?

It wants to show us more about some of the creatures

you might find in parks.

Loads of different animals live in parks.

There's a squirrel playing in a tree.

And there are some stoats jumping about in the grass.

Oh, look at that bat. He looks funny, doesn't he?

He's sleeping upside down.

I wonder what that would be like.

There are loads of different animals in the park, aren't there?

-Yeah.

-So, what shall we do next?

Well, my dad's an abseiling instructor

here at Loggerheads Park.

-Wow, do you think he'll take us along?

-Yeah.

All right. Well, let's go find him. Come on!

-Hello there, Frank.

-Hello, Mr Bloom. Good afternoon.

Ollie's been telling us that you might be able

-to take us abseiling.

-I think that can be arranged.

-So, what is abseiling?

-Abseiling is a way of getting down off the top

-of a rock face, using a rope.

-Right, I see. And Ollie,

-what type of things would you need to go abseiling safely?

-A helmet.

-In case we bang our head.

-That's right. Or, something might fall

-on our heads. Ollie, is there anything else we need?

-A harness.

That's right, we don't want to hold on to the rope with our hands,

-do we?

-No.

-Frank, are these ropes nice and strong?

-They are.

You could lift a car with one of them. We'll use

two ropes today. One is an abseiling rope,

which you're going to be in control of. The second is a safety rope, so

that should you decide, "I don't want to go abseiling any more,"

and completely let go, we can lower you nice and safely.

Ollie, who should you make sure you do abseiling with?

-A professional abseiler.

-Yeah. We must only go abseiling at a special

-abseiling place. So, who would like to go abseiling first?

-Me!

All right, Ollie. Let's get our abseiling kit

and we can watch Ollie go.

Our abseiling device, let's put this in as well.

-Put our helmet on... Excellent, shall we go?

-Yes.

-Let's go.

Excellent, that's it. Keep pushing that rope through.

Hey, can you see him, Ben? Yeah. Oh, here he comes.

-It's really exciting.

I used it when we were looking for mini beasts.

So, that can go there and also, what did we use this safety clip for?

-Abseiling.

-Yeah. We attached it onto our abseiling harnesses.
