I've brought my travelling fete to West Bromwich,

and I'm just off out to go and meet some tiddlers.

I'm excited about meeting the animals.

-I have never seen anything like this, Colin.

-Big peppers!

-Ooh, look, and thin peppers.

-Oh, yeah, the peppers are very happy in here, Colin,

cos this is the perfect place for growing.

Hey, but I tell you, all is not quite as it seems. Ssh!

Look at this.

Right, have a look at this, Colin.

-Oh! No soil bean!

-Exactly. Yeah.

These plants are growing in a special material,

so they don't need watering cans. You know why?

Cos look - this special pipe here feeds the plants

all the food and water they need.

So they never get hungry, they never get thirsty.

Happy peppers! Ha-ha-ha!

What doing bean?

Well, these packets, Colin - they're full of lots of good bugs,

a bit like this. Look, look at this.

HE WHISTLES

Hey, can you see them? There they are.

These good bugs have an important job to do.

Did you know there are bad bugs in this greenhouse?

Yeah, they want to eat all the peppers.

So these good bugs go and eat the bad bugs

-so the pepper plants are nice and safe.

-Oh!

-Come on, lads, you've got to get to work. There we go.

-Happy peppers!

Hey, whoa! Now come on, Colin. There are a lot of jobs to do.

-Ha-ha! High-up bean!

-Yes, a bit good up here, isn't it?

Look at all these peppers!

Hey, Colin, we've got work to do. We've got to twist

-these pepper plants round the strings.

-Tall string!

Yeah, the string goes really high

and it helps the plant by giving it something to hold onto.

So, soon, these little plants - they'll be as high as the roof.

-Like a jungle!

-Yeah, it's a bit like a jungle, isn't it?

I reckon Margaret and Joan would love it.

There you go, my little pepper plants. You keep growing.

Hey, Colin, if I was a pepper, I think I'd quite like to live here.

and climbed up that rope ladder to the treetop village. Ooh,

I wouldn't worry about those girls. They've gone to see Tom and Barbara,

It was amazing - and perfect for the pepper plants.

They had everything they needed to grow. They were very happy peppers.

Ooh, it looks very jungly in the big greenhouse.

It was like a jungle with all those tall, leafy pepper plants.

Ooh, it'd be nice if we could make a jungle here in the tent.

That'd be perfect for Joan and Margaret to explore.

Hey, look, Compo's showing us some things happening outside. Ooh!

They made little plant pots from the newspaper.

-Now they're putting compost into the pots.

You know what that is? That's tremendous!

That sounds like a cracking idea. We could make lots of trees

out of newspapers and that way, when Joan and Margaret come back down,

they can pretend they're in a real jungle. Compo, can you help?

We've got a very hungry Compostarium here and he needs feeding.
