-Right then, tiddlers, are you ready to do some planting?

-That's jolly good. Now, what do we need first?

-Seeds.

There's some seeds for you. And there's some seeds for you, Alfie.

And there's some seeds for you.

Then you can take a pinch with your other hand

and sprinkle them into the compost.

Sprinkle, sprinkle. Now, we're going to need our rakes next.

There we go.

Now, you need to rake the seeds into the compost

so you're mixing it up, aren't you?

That's it, give it a rake, and mix it around.

-Who can tell me what we need next?

-Watering cans.

Watering cans, that's right. Pour the water!

Hey, well done, tiddlers.

Pretty soon we'll have some flowers growing.

But why might I have flowers growing in my vegetable garden?

Because they look pretty and they smell nice.

because they attract some very special visitors.

So, tiddlers, I'm going to let you into a super special secret.

For this, we're going to need

our special flower-inspecting magnifying glasses.

Now, I just need one for myself.

-Tiddlers, can you see that powdery stuff?

-Do you know what it's called?

-Nectar.

-That's a good guess, Amelia.

It isn't called nectar, it's called pollen

and plants need new pollen to make plants grow.

But the pollen needs to move around,

that's where butterflies come in. They move pollen around the garden.

In fact it sticks to them just like the balls in my game. Look at this.

Then they go buzzing to another plant.

Can you be buzzing bees or fluttering butterflies with me?

-Do you reckon it might be feeding time?
