with your Newsround update.

We've got loads for you this

morning so keep watching.

We're starting with football

and yesterday's January transfer

deadline-day which saw

Premier League clubs spending

a record £150 million pounds.

The most expensive move

of the final day was Aubameyang

at £56 million pounds,

joining Arsenal from German

club Borussia Dortmund.

But Arsenal had to

say goodbye to French

striker Olivier Giroud.

He moved to Chelsea

on an 18-month deal for £18m.

Elsewhere, Tottenham

signed Paris St-Germain

winger Lucas Moura for £23 million.

The Brazilian has signed

a contract until 2023.

And Swansea City have re-signed

Andre Ayew for £18 million.

He'd joined West Ham from Swansea

in 2016 but is now returning

to the the team where his brother

Jordan also plays!

a lot happening there.

Millions of tonnes of plastic end up

in the world's oceans each year.

The Government recently announced

big plans to cut all avoidable

plastic waste by 2042.

But that's over 20 years away!

So what's being done now?

Martin's been to meet some

plastic-savvy kids...

We already pay 5p for

plastic carrier bags.

Some places are swapping

plastic straws for paper

ones, and certain shops are

promising to change their packaging.

The aim is to help cut down

the amount of plastic

we use and throw away.

But experts think there's

still so much more we can do.

Plastic bottles are a biggie

because about half of them

still aren't recycled.

That's why I have come

to this school in Dorset

to speak to some kids

who have

come up with a plan.

Meet the Eco-crew.

We care about our planet.

So we came up with an idea.

To stop pollution, we want

our school to become

a plastic free school.

If people put more and more

plastic into the ocean,

it will be there for a very long

time and more plastic will go

into the fish bodies and we would be

able to have any fish any more.

What's the main goal

of the Eco-club?

To see all our coastlines

with no litter at all.

And to see animals being

able to swim freely.

We're off to see one of their ideas.

Look, this means I can

refill my bottle.

They have asked local

shops to let people fill

up their own water bottles for free.

ALL:

Can you fill up our bottles?

It should mean fewer people will buy

a plastic bottle which might

just get thrown away.
