Football next and Premier League

clubs spent a record

£150 million on yesterday's

January transfer deadline-day.

The most expensive move of the final

day was Aubameyang at £56 million,

joining Arsenal from German club

Borussia Dortmund.

But Arsenal had to say goodbye

to French striker Olivier Giroud.

He moved to Chelsea on an 18-month

deal for £18 million.

Elsewhere, Tottenham signed

Paris St-Germain winger

Lucas Moura for £23 million.

The Brazilian has signed

a contract until 2023.

And Swansea City have the re-signed

Andre Ayew for £18 million.

He'd joined West Ham from Swansea

in 2016 but is now returning

to the the team where his brother

Jordan also plays!

A lot of money, isn't it?

Millions of tonnes of plastic end up

in the world's oceans each year.

The Government recently announced

big plans to cut avoidable

plastic waste by 2042.

We've heard from kids

here in the UK, so what can

we learn from other countries?

Martin's got this one...

Here in the UK, 57% of plastic

bottles get recycled but in other

countries like Norway and Denmark,

well, they think

they've got it sussed.

Because they recycle around 90%

of their plastic bottles.

They have what's called

a deposit return scheme.

Let's find out how

it works in Norway.

This is something we have

in Norway which you guys

do not have in the UK.

It's like a reverse vending machine.

Instead of taking something out,

you put something in.

Like a plastic bottle.

For every small bottle,

you pay 10p extra at the till.

For every big one, you pay 25.

But you get that money

back when you recycle.

This is the receipt of what we got.

I know now that these

will definitely get recycled.

I feel proud to live in a country

that cares about recycling.

Not everyone here is convinced it's

the right solution, though.

But because it works so well abroad,

Scotland is already hoping

to do something similar.

And the idea is being looked

at in England and Wales.

aren't the only eco-heroes

helping to save the world.

12 year old Naadia has

earned an unusual nickname

for her battle against litter.

Watch this!

Meet Trash Girl.

She's the schoolgirl superhero fed

up with rubbish on the streets.

And there's only one way

to combat all that litter.

If I don't pick it up then who is?

Because I've had a lot of people say

I'll pick it up but they never do.

Like, they just walk

past it and say, it's

not my job, it's Nadia's job.

Yet 12-year-old Nadia decided she's

going to clean her streets

on the way to school.

But some people started

picking on her for clearing

up all their mess.

They gave her a nickname

which at first seemed quite mean.

They call me Trash Girl.

It made me feel upset because I knew

it was upsetting me and they just

kept continuing because they thought

it was funny.

But you know what?

Nadia took the name and turned it

into something pretty cool.

Her mum took some photos and sent

them to a local newspaper,

and now Nadia likes the idea

of being called Trash Girl.

People are being a lot nicer to me.

There's a group of girls

at my school, and usually

they would ignore me but now

they are actually paying attention

to me and actually notice me.

She's taken ownership of that

name, and you know what?

Trash Girl rocks.

She is absolutely amazing.

And we could not be

more proud of her.

Trash Girl, we salute you.

Did you spot the moon last night?

special, because last night's moon

was a rare "blue blood super moon".

It's when three different lunar

events come at once -

and it's not happened for 150 years.

The moon dazzled star-gazers

around the world.
