First up, the world's best cyclists have set off from Dusseldorf

in Germany for the 2017 Tour de France race.

Britain's Chris Froome is the favourite to win

the 2,200 mile race.

We spoke to two kids who've have taken on some of the steepest slopes

the tour has to offer.

Alfie and Saskia have cycled 300 miles from London to Paris.

Alfie's climbed Mount Ventoux, the hardest mountain

of the Tour de France, and he's also got to the top

of Col de Tourmalet.

That's 2,115 metres high.

Guys, how are you?

How did you get into cycling and become so good at it?

My dad did London to Paris in a day.

It made me want to do something and made me just like him.

I'm not actually that good, it's just I'm very determined

What advice would you give to people who want to be as great as you?

Try every type of cycling, and if you don't like one type,

try the other, until you can find what you like doing.

It's good to keep trying, even if you fall over a few times.

Cycling is difficult and you'll get used to it eventually.

Tour de France is coming up, Alfie, you have gone up some

of the toughest mountains in the race.

How did you get good enough do that?

It was really, really hard.

I felt like giving up at parts of it, but when I was at the top,

I just knew that it was there and I had to keep on going,

because I was going to do it.

You both looking forward to Tour de France?

With Alfie having gone up the mountains, it's kind

of exciting, watching the ones he's gone up.

Like, "My brother's done that already."

I have to say, you guys have given me top tips,

you make me feel more confident and motivated.

Shall we go for a ride?

Yes, of course.

I hope I don't fall!

The British and Irish Lions have pulled off an incredible win

in their do or die match against the New Zealand All Blacks.

In a frantic match that saw both sides wrestling

for a lead throughout, it was a penalty from Owen Farrell

in the 78th minute that gave the Lions a 24-21 victory -

their first over the All Blacks since 1993.

The teams have one point each, heading into the series

decider in a week's time.

Bad news for Adele fans, due to see her at Wembley this weekend.

The singer has cancelled both shows because she's hurt her throat.

Adele Tweeted that she was devastated and heartbroken,

but admitted she'd struggled to sing earlier this week.

On Wednesday night she also told fans that this tour

could be her last.

You might have heard of Finding Nemo, but what about Finding Menai?

You're going to love this story.

Menai, the olive ridley turtle, is nearly home.

She's just arrived at this turtle sanctuary

in Spain's Gran Canaria, where she'll spend

the next four weeks.

But getting here has been no easy mission.

It's thought she was swept off course, away from the south-west

breeding grounds off Africa, past the east coast of America,

and back across the Atlantic, all the way to the UK.

She was found last November, washed up on a beach

in Anglesey in Wales, just minutes away from the sea zoo.

The team there helped her recover from the cold water

and got her eating again.

Turtles like Menai would normally be found in warmer waters,

much further south.

And it seems she's enjoying being back already.

Here it's sunny every day, and we saw the second day

she was here, she was basking very happily, just floating

on the surface, really relishing that sunlight on her shell.

So, what's next?

Really, what we want to do is take her a little bit further

south-west in the Atlantic, and release her in slightly warmer

waters where she's a little bit north of the breeding grounds,

and let her find own way there.

Menai is almost back where she belongs, where experts

hope she'll have babies, and help keep this endangering

Using smartphones is changing the way we walk -

according to scientists.

Using trackers, the University of Essex discovered those

who message or check social media, whilst walking, tend to be slower -

taking shorter steps and not lifting their feet as much.

But the biggest risk was they were less aware of what's

going on around them.

Well, someone who prefers a phone box to make his calls is Doctor Who,

and tonight's final episode of the series marks the end

of an era for two of the key members of the team.

It will be the last to have Peter Capaldi as the Doctor,

Finally, a shop owner in Alaska got a bit of a surprise when this bear

wandered into his shop.

The bear nosed around the sweet section for a bit -

we've all been there - but was chased off before it

could get its claws on any candy.
