Good morning. Ayshah here with your Sunday rundown of news and sport

plus this... Hello Newsround from the red carpet at the Oscars.

First up, Newcastle football manager, Alan Pardew, has been

criticised for the example he's set to his players and young fans, after

appearing to headbutt an opposition player during the match with Hull

City yesterday. Pardew has said he's really sorry about the incident,

which happened as Hull's David Meyler tried to get the ball back

for a throw-in. The club's fined him ?100,000 and the FA say they're

investigating. This was the reaction from the Match of the Day pundits

last night. I think it's terribly sad to see the

pictures. It's sad for him and Newcastle and I think it's sad for

the game. Kids watching. As a player, if you see your manager

doing that, how can he discipline you, because people could run riot?

I think that's an excusable -- inexcusable act for a manager.

Next, Barack Obama made a late-night phone call to Russian President,

Vladimir Putin, last night as the two countries continue to disagree

about the crisis in Ukraine. In the 90-minute conversation Obama told

Putin to change his mind about yesterday's decision to send Russian

troops into Crimea in the South of Ukraine. Obama says sending Russian

troops to Ukraine goes against international law, but Putin insists

Russia has a right to defend Russian people living in that area. The

first major footy Cup final of the year happens later at Wembley.

Sunderland take on Manchester City trying to win their first trophy

since 1973 in the Capital One Cup. It's going to be very difficult. We

are very aware of Manchester City. I want to try our best. We'll be much

better than last weekend, I hope. We are going to try our best to make

our fans very proud. Finally, Hollywood's gearing up for the

biggest movie awards in the world tonight. Rain is expected to pour

down on the usually sun-kissed streets, so the organisers are

having to take special precautions, like taping up the red carpet to

keep things dry. The BBC's Colin Patterson will be there for the

whole thing and sent us this little taster of what to expect. Hello
