Hi, guys - Ayshah here with news of major criticism for a top footy boss

and a sneak peak behind the scenes at the Oscars on the way on

Newsround. But first, Ukraine has asked the UK

and America for help as Russia sends troops into its country. Flooding

their's President ignored a phone call plea from Barack Obama to

remove troops from the south of Ukraine, in the Crimea. President

Obama says it is against international law but Putin insisted

that Russia has a right to defend Russian people living there. An

emergency meeting at the UN is to start now. Newcastle football

manager Alan Pardew has been fined ?100,000 asked -- after appearing to

head-butt David Meyler after you try to get a ball back from the

sideline. Alan Pardew has been criticised for

the example he set to young fans. I did not mean no damage to the guy.

My head went forward, and you can't do that. I should not have done

that. I apologise to all concerned. Despite saying sorry and Newcastle

is doing that fine, newspapers suggest that he could face a big

band, or be sacked. These all what the Match of the Day pundits made of

it. As you ever seen anything like this from a coach or a manager? No,

there is no reason for that. I think it is terribly sad to see these

pictures. For Newcastle and four Alan Pardew. And sad for the game.

Kids are watching this game. I think you should resign. I think his

position would become untenable before the statement. As a player,

if you see your manager doing that, how can he discipline you? On the

pitch, the mace -- the first major cup final of the year happens at

Wembley later on. Manchester City take on Sunderland.

For any supporter of any club, they want to see their team win. Our team

is aware of Manchester City. It is an opportunity to show the quality

that they have. But that Cup final isn't the only

big event this weekend. The world's biggest movie awards - the Oscars -

take place in Los Angeles tonight and the BBC's Colin Patterson been

behind the scenes to give us a sneak peak. Watch out for the flashes in

carpet in Hollywood. These are where the film stars will be walking.

Sandra Bullock and Jennifer Lawrence. And Emily Watson from

Harry Potter is coming to give just -- just to give an award. We are

going to head to where they will be walking. This is the entrance where

the stars come in. They have been searched by security. This is the

red carpet. It is 150 metres long and it is raining so there was

tarpaulin covering it. There is even a roof so that if it rains, the

stars will not get wet. There were lots of TV crews all over the

world. -- from all over the world. Where are you from, so? Toronto.

Hello, Newsround. 260 countries will cover the Oscars. And that is where

the action takes place. On those pillars, those are the names of

previous winners. Then they will say a final farewell to the press, have

their pictures taken and then find out if they are Oscar winners. Tune

If you thought your football team is bad, spare a thought for Tunstall

Town. It had lost 171 games in a row and been called the worst side ever.
