And I showed it to a friend that said it was Roman.	:04:37.	:04:41.
After that, we found another 200 pieces on the first day.	:04:42.	:04:44.
Now experts say the pieces are really important because they're	:04:45.	:04:49.
thought to be the oldest found outside the Roman Empire.	:04:50.	:04:53.
They think the silver was used by Roman soldiers as payment	:04:54.	:04:56.
when they were passing through Scotland way back	:04:57.	:04:58.
People used to think this silver was all to do with barbarians	:04:59.	:05:05.
who could not understand Roman art, but we can now see this happening	:05:06.	:05:08.
And it has been cut really carefully.	:05:09.	:05:11.
It may look brutal, but these things have been cut quite	:05:12.	:05:14.

David got a reward for finding the silver, and his treasure	:05:17.	:05:20.
