I'm Ayshah with all

the news, just for you.

First, six-year-old Maisie

from Swindon will be mixing

with the biggest movie stars

on the planet at the Oscars tonight.

She stars in a film

called The Silent Child.

She's deaf, the same

as the character she plays.

So what's it like to be six

and up for an Oscar?

Newsround caught up

with Maisie in Hollywood.

OK, here are the big

sports stories today.

Liverpool are back up in second

place after beating Newcastle 2-0.

Star player Mohammed Salah scored

for the seventh game in a row.

taking his total

for the season to 24.

Laura Muir produced a superb run

to win silver in the women's 1500m

at the World Indoor Athletics.

It is her second medal

of the Championships, after a bronze

in the 3,000m final.

Great Britain's Katie Archibald

and Emily Nelson won a stunning

victory in the madison

at the Track Cycling

World Championships.

Britain have won six medals

in the first four days

of the competition.

From the superstars

to super-strange now!

It's time for the week's

weirdest news, with Martin.

Take a look at this rare white

stoat caught on camera

in a garden in North Yorkshire.

The tiny mammals are normally

a rusty brown colour,

but they can shed their coats

and replace them with

a special white one

when temperatures are really cold -

perfect for this snowy weather!

Next, shoppers in Taiwan are getting

into a frenzy over...loo roll!

It's because of rumours that it is

going to get more expensive.

Shops are asking people not

to panic, but locals have been

rushing to stock up with as much

of the toilet tissue

as they can get their hands on!

And, finally, parts of the UK have

had lots of snowfall this week,

but probably not enough to do this.

These kids in Iowa, in the US,

took part in their annual

home-made sled race.

Oh, yes!

Each sled was made out of cardboard.

Even the local police

took part in the race.

That looks snow-tastic!

Take a look at these drones

lighting up the sky.

It is part of the Lantern

Festival in China.

500 drones were let loose

to dance in the night sky

for the crowd below.
