We'll introduce the new

species of Orangutan.

0:00:110:00:13

Our tips for having

a great Bonfire night!

0:00:130:00:16

And the very latest

from the Overwatch World Champs.

0:00:160:00:26

First up, in the world

of nature, something really

0:00:310:00:33

exciting has happened.

0:00:330:00:35

For the first time in nearly 100

years, scientists have discovered

0:00:350:00:38

a new species of ape.

0:00:380:00:40

BBC reporter Victoria

Gill sent us this.

0:00:400:00:50

Introducing the new orangutan. They

live deep in the forests of the

0:00:520:00:57

island of Sumatra. Scientists

discovered that they are a new

0:00:570:01:00

species. They are different from

other great apes, like gorillas and

0:01:000:01:09

chimpanzees.

Until now it was thought there were

0:01:090:01:17

two species of orangutan, the

Sumatran and the Borneon.

0:01:170:01:28

But this species is another.

The scientists found the species 20

0:01:280:01:36

years ago but have it to study them

close to reveal their secrets. Lots

0:01:360:01:43

of tiny but important differences

tell them apart, the sound of their

0:01:430:01:48

call, what they eat and they look

different, which the researchers can

0:01:480:01:53

measure by looking closely and

comparing size of skulls to other

0:01:530:01:56

orangutan species.

It is an amaidsing break through.

0:01:560:02:02

There are only seven species, so

adding one to the small list is

0:02:020:02:06

spectacular.

But as they have been discovered,

0:02:060:02:10

the animals now go to the top of the

list of the most endangered species

0:02:100:02:15

in the world. # 00 exist,

conservationists hope that now

0:02:150:02:20

people know they are so special

people will act to protect them.

0:02:200:02:26

In the Scottish Premiership, Celtic

take on St Johnstone this afternoon.

0:02:260:02:28

They'll break their own

record for unbeaten games

0:02:280:02:30

if they can avoid defeat.

0:02:300:02:32

They're currently on 62

matches without a loss!

0:02:320:02:34

Now, lots of you may be

going to a bonfire tonight.

0:02:340:02:36

There's lots of displays taking

place all weekend so loads of us

0:02:360:02:39

will be enjoying fireworks

and sparklers today and tomorrow

0:02:390:02:41

But while they look pretty amazing,

fireworks can travel

0:02:410:02:43

at a speed of a racing car -

so they're not to mess around with!

0:02:430:02:47

We've got some top tips on how

to keep safe and have fun over

0:02:470:02:50

the Bonfire weekend.

0:02:500:03:00

Make sure you stand well back from

bonfires and fireworks.

0:03:080:03:15

Never touch sparklers or fireworks

without a grown-up being there.

0:03:150:03:21

On Bonfire Night keep pets in doors

as they may be scared of the noise.

0:03:210:03:27

Wrap up warm and wear your coat,

scarf and hat.

0:03:270:03:32

Make sure you are wearing gloves

when holding sparklers and make sure

0:03:320:03:36

you get your parents to light them.

Happy Bonfire Night!

0:03:360:03:48

And if you want to find out more

about the history of Bonfire Night,

0:03:480:03:52

check out Newsround online.

0:03:520:03:53

Lots of you are probably

fans of this game!

0:03:530:03:55

Yes, it's Overwatch!

0:03:550:03:56

The quarter finals of

the Overwatch World Cup

0:03:560:03:58

have been taking place

in Los Angeles overnight.

0:03:580:04:00

But sadly Team UK haven't made it

through to the semi-finals.

0:04:000:04:02

They were beaten three -

one by the team from Sweden,

0:04:020:04:05

who will now face Canada

in the semi finals.

0:04:050:04:07

The other semi-final

is between France and Korea.

0:04:070:04:13

It's been a few days

since Halloween and most

0:04:130:04:15

of our pumpkins are now in the bin!

0:04:150:04:17

But zoo keepers across the country

have been saving the spooky

0:04:170:04:20

treats for their animals.

0:04:200:04:21

Here's Martin.

0:04:210:04:29

There's no tricks, only treats for

this baby bear enjoying his first

0:04:290:04:33

pumpkin. It looks like love at first

sight. With the big cats, keepers at

0:04:330:04:41

the zoo have hidden treats inside

this area for the Jaguar. And these

0:04:410:04:48

are happy to ciao down au natural!

And creepy maggots! But this pygmy

0:04:480:04:56

hedgehog is not complaining. The

worms are lunch! This giant pumpkin

0:04:560:05:00

is turning heads at the zoo but just

one animal big enough to take it on.

0:05:000:05:09

And these birds are going to town on

the pumpkin seeds. Apparently they

0:05:090:05:16

taste delicious to the parrots!

0:05:160:05:18

Apparently they taste

delicious to the parrots!

0:05:180:05:20

And finally have you heard

the story about the golden

0:05:200:05:23

retriever and the leopard cub

being best friends?

0:05:230:05:24

No?

0:05:240:05:25

Well here it is.

0:05:250:05:33

This amur leopard was born at a zoo

in Russia but had to be removed

0:05:330:05:36

from her Mum to keep her safe.

0:05:360:05:38

Tessa, the dog, who already has four

pups of her own is now looking

0:05:380:05:41

after this little cub making sure

she has milk and all

0:05:410:05:44

the love she needs.
