You're watching Newsround this Monday morning with me, Ayshah,

:00:00.:00:00.

The cheeky monkey who prefers cash over bananas.

:00:00.:00:25.

Have you ever wondered what it takes to launch a rocket into space?

:00:26.:00:28.

Jenny's been to meet school teams from around the UK who've been

:00:29.:00:32.

finding out just that, in a cosmic competition.

:00:33.:00:36.

A huge rocket heading into space with astronauts

:00:37.:00:43.

inside, but how do engineers make it happen?

:00:44.:00:47.

These students have been learning to make their own mini-rockets

:00:48.:00:50.

with some expert help and there is only a little time left

:00:51.:00:53.

34 school teams from across the country have

:00:54.:00:57.

been taking part in the UK Rocketry Challenge

:00:58.:00:59.

Teams have to build, launch and land a rocket safely.

:01:00.:01:05.

It's got to get high enough in the air and

:01:06.:01:07.

keep flying for long enough and all the time

:01:08.:01:09.

keeping its contents, two raw eggs, safe and secure.

:01:10.:01:14.

I'm really nervous but I'm really excited at the same time.

:01:15.:01:17.

Probably the most fun bit for me would be when you get

:01:18.:01:20.

We have already been to the regional finals

:01:21.:01:23.

and launched our rocket and it came fourth.

:01:24.:01:25.

We've built it, made it better and hopefully

:01:26.:01:27.

You don't launch when there are people around, cars around,

:01:28.:01:33.

aeroplanes around or animals around because you can scare animals.

:01:34.:01:38.

It has to be done responsibly and with adults.

:01:39.:01:42.

I'm really happy the parachute came out,

:01:43.:02:00.

otherwise it would have just crashed.

:02:01.:02:02.

The winners will now be heading to Farnborough Airshow

:02:03.:02:04.

in July to compete against teams from around the world.

:02:05.:02:12.

The World's number one tennis player Novak Djokovic beat

:02:13.:02:14.

Britain's Andy Murray at the French Open final in Paris.

:02:15.:02:16.

Djokovic has now won 12 major titles becoming the first man in over 40

:02:17.:02:23.

years, to hold all four of the big tennis trophies,

:02:24.:02:26.

Right now, I'm trying to enjoy and cherish this moment. I've never

:02:27.:02:48.

experienced this moment before of holding this trophy, I've worked

:02:49.:02:52.

very hard for so many years to achieve that. I will think about

:02:53.:02:56.

that and then everything else that is coming up.

:02:57.:02:57.

While Djokovic celebrates, Andy Murray will be hoping

:02:58.:02:59.

to recover before starting Wimbledon, after his

:03:00.:03:01.

I've never had a clay-court season like that, one that many matches.

:03:02.:03:15.

Never played a final here. It was very difficult conditions. Very

:03:16.:03:22.

heavy, very slow physical matches. I need to recover before getting back

:03:23.:03:24.

on the grass. Euro 2016 kicks off

:03:25.:03:25.

in just 4 days time. With everything you need

:03:26.:03:29.

to know about this summer's This is the 15th edition of the

:03:30.:03:31.

:03:32.:03:40.

European Nations Cup, France are the host

:03:41.:03:43.

:03:44.:03:49.

:03:50.:03:59.

their European Championship debuts - Albania, Iceland, Slovakia,

:04:00.:04:02.

Northern Ireland and Wales. Germany and Spain have both won

:04:03.:04:08.

the championships three times. Russia, Italy, the Czech Republic,

:04:09.:04:12.

the Netherlands, Denmark The winners will qualify

:04:13.:04:17.

for the 2017 Confederations Cup. Germany and Russia have already

:04:18.:04:25.

qualified so if they win, then the runners up

:04:26.:04:29.

will qualify instead. Great Britain's women gymnasts had

:04:30.:04:32.

a brilliant European championships in Switzerland -

:04:33.:04:40.

especially Beckie Downie. She got gold in the uneven bars

:04:41.:04:42.

with this winning routine. She chose to do a harder one,

:04:43.:04:45.

to impress the judges So pleased not just to win the goal

:04:46.:05:02.

but the fact that I made my hardest regime. It did not feel like one of

:05:03.:05:10.

my best, I wanted to get through, and I made the decision that I would

:05:11.:05:14.

go for the hard-won, I needed to test it if I'm going to make the

:05:15.:05:15.

team. Athletics now, and a brand

new British record in the 3,000 metres for double Olympic champ Mo

for 34-years but Mo broke it Last up this morning,

this cheeky monkey in India. It went

:05:25.:05:30.

into a jewellery shop and, after sitting for a while on the chair,

:05:31.:05:32.

reached out and grabbed some cash! An employee tried to get it back

:05:33.:05:37.

by tempting the monkey with a banana, but he wasn't

interested and made That's all from us this
