They say dogs are man's best friend but on Middle Island in Australia,

dogs and penguins are even closer than that.

Some specially trained Maremma dogs have the job of protecting local

These guys have a very important job to do.

They are called Little Penguins, and are the smallest in the world.

to use his Maremma dogs, that protect his chickens,

You are about to make your debut, how do you feel? Very excited. It

into racing? I started when I was 13, that is me when I was little

chubby boy! My dad raced in Formula 1 in the 80s so I got into it

through him. I started there and did well straightaway I love it and

carried on. Two weeks left, how are you preparing? We fly out on

Thursday evening to Melbourne, we get there early, a lot of jet lag so
