In 2015, Californian authorities banned SeaWorld from breeding	:00:58.	:01:07.
And, after a lot of pressure from celebrities and animal rights	:01:08.	:01:13.
groups, in 2016 SeaWorld announced they were putting an end	:01:14.	:01:16.
to killer whale performance shows in their parks.	:01:17.	:01:18.
This weekend marks the final show at one of those parks	:01:19.	:01:20.
SeaWorld currently has killer whale shows at two other parks in America,	:01:21.	:01:25.
in Texas and Florida, but they will be	:01:26.	:01:28.
Instead of performing tricks, the whales will now be used to help	:01:29.	:01:35.
Animal rights groups have praised SeaWorld for making positive steps	:01:36.	:01:41.
in the right direction, but some still think more can be	:01:42.	:01:43.
done to help protect the animals' welfare.	:01:44.	:01:46.
Some are suggesting the whales should be moved to sanctuaries	:01:47.	:01:51.
by the sea, where they can live in an environment closer to that	:01:52.	:01:54.
The fight for killer whale rights seems set	:01:55.	:01:58.
to continue into the future, but things are definitely changing	:01:59.	:02:01.

I have one at my house, but there are loads at my school.	:03:46.	:04:01.
