And I am in Scotland exploring the country ahead of the big vote on

whether Scotland should leave the UK.

Next Thursday, people in Scotland face a massive

choice - voting whether or not to become an independent country,

Should Scotland be an independent country?

What is it all about? Well, the Scottish National party wants

Scotland to become its own independent country, but the UK's

three main independent parties want Scotland to stay in the United

Kingdom. To settle it, a massive vote is taking place across Scotland

on the 18th of September. Whichever side this gets more votes wins and

for the first time 16 and 17-year-olds will vote. It is a huge

decision that could affect loads of things, such as whether Scotland

uses the pound and whether it is a member of the European Union.

Scotland has been joined with England since 17 or seven sort of

people vote yes it will mean an end to more than 300 years of history.
