hit this Saturday morning.

And first up, imagine living

in darkness for more than a month.

Well, for people living

in Murmansk in Northern Russia,

that is the norm.

But this week, the sun has

finally risen after 40 days

of pitch black skies.

The sunrise attracted large crowds

who gathered on hilltops.

The first daylight of

the year doesn't last long,

with the sun disappearing again

after half an hour.

The city is so far north that people

there live in continuous darkness

from the beginning of December

all the way through

to early January.

Now, some freaky space news,

because scientists have made

a discovery about black holes

and how they eat and burp -

just like humans!

And I should warn you,

there's some pretty gross burps

sounds in this one.

BURP!

Rude!

Turns out black holes

have bad table manners.

Imagine someone having dinner

and the eating and burping.

They are so gross that the old burp

stink is still in the air

while they keep eating and then

they burp again.

But scientists have found that's

what a black hole does, too.

A black hole is a place in space

where gravity pulls so much that

even light cannot get out.

When cosmic gas comes near it,

it gets sucked in and then some

energy is released back out,

just like a burp.

BURP!

That's nasty.

BURP!

in Saudi Arabia after women

were allowed into a stadium,

to watch a football match,

for the very first time yesterday.

Around 300 women flocked to

the Pearl stadium in Jeddah to watch

the Saudi Premier League game.

They had to enter via a special

gate and sit in seats

reserved for familes.

Spare a thought for the fans

supporting Al Batin though,

their team lost 5-nil.

Riley is a sniffer dog

with a difference.

The pup is being trained to sniff

out bugs and other critters that

could potentially damage valuable

artwork and textiles.

He's the first of his kind

and museum managers say

if he does a good job,

he'll be paid in treats

and squeaky toys.
