and this is Newsround.

First up and most importantly,

today is Shrove Tuesday...

And that means pancakes!

Here's our guide to making

some flipping good ones.

Break your eggs into the mixture.

Now mix it all together.

Keep mixing.

Add some to your pancake mixture.

Mmm!

Now time to check in on what's been

happening at the Winter

Olympics in PyeongChang.

American snowboarding super

star Chloe Kim won gold

in the women's half-pipe.

The 17-year-old, whose parents

are from South Korea,

claimed victory with a huge score

of 98.25 out of 100.

Short-track speed skater

Elise Christie is back

in action later this morning.

She is one of Britain's best

chances of a gold medal

at this year's games.

The quarter finals in

the women's 500 metres gets

underway at 10 o'clock.

And the windy weather in South Korea

is continuing to cause

problems for some sports.

This was a Russian athlete

crashing out in the combined

alpine skiing event.

Good news is that he is OK!

Next, Marvel are back with a brand

new superhero film - Black Panther.

It follows the character

of an African King called T'Challa.

So, is it any good?

Newsround sent four 13-year-old

movie fans to find out!

We are home.

Well, how I felt about Black Panther

after I watched it was definitely

liberated just to see the positive

representation of black

people in Africa.

It seems really just basic to say

"really good," but that's the only

words I can say about it.

It was really empowering in a way.

Because it wasn't just

male main characters,

it was a lot of women as well.

It was very diverse for everyone.

My son, it is your time.

My favourite character was Shuri

because she was really

good with technology,

and she was also, like,

very strong willed.

She was very smart,

she also was very supportive

towards her brother but she wasn't

deemed lower than her brother.

You get to decide what kind of king

you are going to be.

I didn't expect it to be

so colourful and vibrant

within its colours.

And also the soundtrack

blew me away as well.

The fabrics often made in, like,

Ghana and Nigeria were shown

in the clothing they wore,

and the bright colours

and patterns on them.

They weren't afraid to have

all these main black characters

to actually be there and up front.

Don't freeze.

I never freeze.

One of the weak points

of the film was the CGI,

the computer-generated images.

At one point it did look

like two plastic figurines

going at each other and fighting.

The only weak spot, I would say,

is that it probably

needed a bit more time.

I don't feel like I got

to see everything.

four out of five stars.

over four thousand miles

She followed them as they migrated

from Russia to Gloucestershire.

Now she's been awarded a prize

which celebrates her mission

to find out why the number

of swans has dropped.
