But first to a debate on whether you should be allowed to take

calculators into your maths tests. Thousands

of years six kids are preparing for sat exams in the subject today.

They will be the first to face new rules banning the use of

calculators for some maths papers. The Government says it will improve

standards, but experts from three top universities say it

is a backward step. We want to know what you think about

this on the Newsround website. Lots of people hoping to get a

glimpse of the Commonwealth games action in Glasgow were disappointed

last night after the ticketing system was shut down. The last

100,000 tickets went on sale on Monday, but the organisers were

forced to close the sales website because the system could not cope

with the demand. Like many others over the last couple of days this

lady has been patiently trying to get hold of tickets for this's

games. They should have given consideration to people who were

trying to get these few golden tickets. It is frustrating because

you are so enthusiastic and you cannot get access to it. After a

series of complaints the organisers acted. They decided to close the

website and phone line until the technical problems can be fixed. We

are getting great demand and the system is not coping and we are

going to tackle the issue and reopen it as quick as possible. Most people

will have to wait until the site is back up and running before they can

try again. Organisers say they don't yet know when that will be.

Next claims that a 500-year-old shipwreck belonging to history as

one of history's most famous explorers may be under the sea. An

underwater investigator says he has unearthed the wreck of Christopher

Columbus' trip which sank when he was exploring the Caribbean in

1492. All football fans have felt like

their team is cursed, but for the supporters of Benfica it could be

true. They play against Seville in the Europa league final tonight

hoping to end a serious run of bad luck.

Benfica, one of the most prestigious clubs in the world with a record 33

league titles to its name. Their fans are used to celebrating. But

when it comes to European football it is a completely different story.

They have been in seven European cup finals and lost every single one.

How can the most successful club in Portuguese history have such a bad

record in European competitions? Some believe their bad run is down

to a 100-year-old curse made by a former manager. The curse is when

Benfica won the second European cup they did not renew the contract of

their manager. He was furious and legend has it that he put a curse on

Benfica and he said in the next 100 years they would never win another

European trophy. So far it has been more than 50 years since they last

won a trophy, but Benfica, or the Eagles, though into this final as

favourites. They are fresh and their minds are lighter than last year.

This year they have more chance to succeed. Benfica seemed to be in

good shape on the pitch, so can they win it this time, or will the

legendary curs stop the Eagles soar to victory again?

Now to a fond farewell to this little, talking robot who has been

keeping astronauts company on the International Space Station. The

Japanese astronaut had to say goodbye to his robotic friend before

he returned to Earth. It got a bit emotional, but the robot returns to

earth himself at the end of the year. We are back in half an hour.
