has been forced to shut down after it failed to cope with demand .

Thousands of people were left disappointed as

they tried to book the last 100,000 tickets to go on sale and there is

no sign yet of when the website and phone lines could reopen.

Like many others, this woman has been patiently trying to get hold of

tickets for the Commonwealth Games, but has had no luck. They should

have given more consideration about the fact there would be so many

people trying to get these golden tickets and it is frustrating

because you are so enthusiastic and you want to be part of it and you

can't get access. After a series of complaints because she was not the

only person, the organisers acted. They decided to close the website

and phone line until the technical problems can be fixed. The system is

not coping right now and we are going to tackle this issue and

reopen the site and provide tickets. Although a few managed to

get tickets before it closed, most people will have to wait until the

site is back up and running before they can try again.
