Hi, I'm Ricky with Newsround and lots to talk about this morning.

Another great night for Great Britain on the final day

of the World Athletics Championships.

They were flapping about going, "Mah, mah!"

And bat watch!

We meet the kids who are spotting bats in their new home.

Good Monday morning.

Let's start with the World Athletics Championships which came to end

in London last night.

Two more medals for Great Britain.

Britain's 4x400 metres women won a brilliant silver

and the GB men got bronze.

It means they finished sixth on the medal table.

Star of the show and athletics legend Usain Bolt said goodbye

to the crowds and almost cried after his last ever race.

The Jamaican runner is retiring after winning

eight Olympic gold medals.

This is what he had to say.

I personally feel this is a good message to the kids that work hard,

be strong and let's push on, you know what I mean?

And, for me, if I can leave something like that

to the younger generation, that with hard work,

no matter what's going on, you can be the best that you can be,

then that's a good legacy to leave.

Footy now and the world's most expensive player, Neymar,

played his first game for French side Paris Saint Germain.

The ?200 million player scored this exciting goal his first

for the team and they beat rival French club Guingamp 3-0.

So far he's proving the investment was worth it.

Now to Charlottesville, a city in Virginia in the US,

where there's been trouble after protests there.

The trouble started when white supremacists,

who believe that white people are better than other races,

planned a protest.

That's because a statue of someone they think

shared their views was being removed from a university.

Violence broke out when antiracism groups started

to protest against them.

A man drove a car into the antiracism protesters.

One woman was killed and many others were injured.

Emergency services arrived quickly to help

and a man has now been arrested.

US President Donald Trump has condemned the violence.

The hate and the division must stop and must stop right now.

We have to come together as Americans with love for our nation

and true affection and, really, I say this so strongly,

true affection for each other.

It's been a weekend of protest marked by violence and it's

shown once again that the US is divided over the issue of race.

It's also served as a test for the US's

fairly new president Donald Trump.

In the past he's been supported by white nationalists,

people said that he didn't do enough to criticise the white nationalists

who organised this weekend's events.

Over the next few days, people will be looking to see

if there's any more demonstrations and what, if anything,

President Trump has to say about those.

There are lots of other stories too, including why the weather

for some of you during the summer holidays has been so rubbish.

Whether you love bats or not,

most of us probably wouldn't want to live with a load of them.

But some churches are letting these little guys make themselves at home

in buildings like this.

Sound a bit batty?

Here's Ayshah.

It might be a bit cold and draughty but for bats it is one of their

favourite places to make a home.

And these kids have come to this church

in Norfolk to find out all about the bats that live here.

I've been around and seen two of these, like,

tiny bats that were flapping about going like, "Mah, mah!"

I saw two of the small bats, I saw a flapper bat.

I like bats because they can hang upside down.

I like bats because they fly around.

But they're not always the easiest animals to live with.

And the people that own churches are worried that the bats

are damaging these very old buildings, with the bats' wee

leaving little white spots like this on gravestones.

So they might not be the most welcome guests

but it's actually really important to protect these bats.

Bat populations over a number of years have been declining,

hopefully we've stopped that.

But churches are one of the most important buildings in

the countryside that bats can use.

Luckily for the bats, this church is happy to let them

stay in the church roof for now, but they're building

special bat boxes outside the church for them to live in in the future,

so they don't make any more mess inside.

And a special project called Bats In Churches is asking other

places of worship to do the same.

BIG BEN STRIKES THE HOUR

That's a familiar sound, but come next Monday Big Ben

won't chime for several months.

It's for repair work.

The bells will still ring on special days,

but will be silent for only the third time in 150 years.

A satellite from Nasa has started the final steps to ending its

13-year mission at Saturn.

It's started a series of "ultra-close" journeys

through the planet's atmosphere.

Scientists are hoping it will reveal more

about what the planet is made of.

The satellite will take lots of pictures so we can take a closer

look at what's happening there.
