Hi, I'm Ricky and this is Newsround live on CBBC.

Coming up, we'll hear from a camera operator who had a lucky escape.

I was part of the BBC team that was caught up Mount Etna

during a volcanic explosion.

The fitness tracker for pets.

And the golfer saying "see you later" to this gator.

But first, to the BBC film makers who dodged burning rocks

and boiling steam when a volcano errupted in Europe.

The team were filming Mount Etna on the island

of Sicily when this happened.

The camera operator who filmed this footage has told Newsround

all about her lucky escape.

Hi, my name's Rachel Price, I'm a camerawoman.

I was part of the BBC team caught up Mount Etna

during a volcanic explosion.

As you see in the footage, I managed to catch the explosion

happening and then realised quite quickly that we had

to get off the mountain pretty quick and safely.

As you see in the footage, I fall over.

As I have fallen over, there was rocks that had come up

in the volcano ash and poured down.

In that moment, I was thinking, we really need to get off,

we really need to get off here.

During that point I had a rock go through of my big jackets.

It went right down into my back and caught into another jacket

and it's caused a big hole in the middle.

Are your pets at bit podgy?

Well this might be just for them.

It's a fitness tracker for cats and dogs that's becoming

popular in Hong Kong, in South East Asia.

It's put on their collar and then the owner looks on their phone

to see how active their pets been.

I hope they've done their 10,000 steps!

What do you do when you come face to face with an alligator?

Well you might scream and run away but when a gator appeared

on a golf course in America, instead of panicking golfer Cody Gribble

simply gave him a little shove back into the water.

He just said "see you later alligator" and carried on playing.

To another cool customer now and this police officer's certainly

got some serious moves.

He dances up a storm daily, trying to copy Michael Jackson,

while directing traffic on the busy streets of Maiduguri in Nigeria.

Look at him go!
