We live all the top stories. We come to need a French family to see how

:00:12.:00:19.

they're coping after last Friday's terror attacks will.

:00:20.:00:25.

Paralympian Sarah Storey tells us about her experiences

:00:26.:00:26.

First to Paris, the capital city of France.

:00:27.:00:34.

People in the country are still trying to get back to normal

:00:35.:00:38.

after the attacks that happened there last Friday, where more than

:00:39.:00:41.

Jenny's been speaking to one family, who live in Paris,

:00:42.:00:46.

to find out how they have been dealing with what's happened.

:00:47.:00:52.

June is 11 years old, lives in the centre of Paris, with her mum and

:00:53.:01:01.

dad, like many families they have been trying to come to terms

:01:02.:01:03.

I remember I was about to play, my mum told us there was explosions.

:01:04.:01:09.

She turned on the TV, we saw it was every on every channel.

:01:10.:01:12.

I was terrified, scared it was going to happen to me.

:01:13.:01:20.

We saw there was the army, the police, so one.

:01:21.:01:24.

She needs to be confident, because it exists, and it happens.

:01:25.:01:30.

On Wednesday morning police and military carried out big raids

:01:31.:01:46.

in the north of Paris, trying to arrest people they believed was

:01:47.:01:49.

I was watching TV, I awoke June at 7:30,

:01:50.:01:52.

she said what happened, I explained that the police and the army are

:01:53.:01:55.

I didn't think anyone is going to attack us.

:01:56.:02:04.

How have you been supporting each other?

:02:05.:02:13.

My family has been close together, I'm in the centre of a huge hug.

:02:14.:02:16.

Like life continues, the Earth continues spinning.

:02:17.:02:19.

Do you have any more questions for your mum?

:02:20.:02:26.

I'm sure in France it is going to be better.

:02:27.:02:37.

We are a democratic country, and we are doing everything to try

:02:38.:02:40.

If you want to know more about what's happening in Paris head

:02:41.:02:54.

over the Newsround website and there's lots of advice on there too

:02:55.:02:57.

At Newsround and we've been hearing from some

:02:58.:03:05.

Well you're certainly not alone - you might be surprised to learn that

:03:06.:03:12.

one of greatest Paralympic athletes Dame Sarah Story suffered too.

:03:13.:03:14.

When it comes to medals, you don't get much better than

:03:15.:03:19.

She has competed in a massive six Paralympic games, starting

:03:20.:03:26.

With 11 gold, eight silver, and three bronze medals, in cycling

:03:27.:03:41.

and swimming, she is Great Britain's most successful female Paralympian.

:03:42.:03:44.

When she was at school, she was badly bullied.

:03:45.:03:46.

She has been telling me all about it.

:03:47.:03:48.

Going to the games as a 14-year-old, in Barcelona, when I came home,

:03:49.:03:51.

school was quite a different place to what I remembered it to be.

:03:52.:03:54.

As a result, getting on with the job,

:03:55.:03:57.

being a good student, getting on with my studies, not really blowing

:03:58.:04:00.

my own trumpet, I became someone not very popular in school anymore.

:04:01.:04:04.

Nobody wanted to sit with me in the classroom, people talking behind

:04:05.:04:09.

my back, walking in the corridor, people going the other way.

:04:10.:04:12.

I would walk into the toilets, people were talking about me.

:04:13.:04:15.

Anyone who has been bullied, don't be afraid to tell someone.

:04:16.:04:20.

The problem shared is a problem halved.

:04:21.:04:23.

The person you tell may not have the ability to do things that are

:04:24.:04:28.

practical, but by getting it off your chest, it will help.

:04:29.:04:32.

Thanks Sarah - we want you all to tune in to CBBC at 5:30

:04:33.:04:36.

tonight so you don't miss the very first Newsround debate

:04:37.:04:38.

These are the opening titles We know it's something that many

:04:39.:04:47.

of you are struggling with - watch children share their experiences

:04:48.:04:50.

and get advice from experts on the best ways to tackle it.

:04:51.:04:53.

And kids decide if it's more important to punish or

:04:54.:04:55.

And remember to tell someone you trust if you're being bullied -

:04:56.:05:00.

the quicker you ask for help the quicker it will stop.

:05:01.:05:02.

Now time for a bit of sports news - New Zealand All Blacks captain

:05:03.:05:08.

Richie McCaw has announced that he will be retiring from rugby.

:05:09.:05:11.

The World Cup winning captain is the most capped rugby player

:05:12.:05:13.

He's made 148 appearances for his country.

:05:14.:05:18.

He lead the All Blacks to two World Cup wins.

:05:19.:05:27.

Andy Murray must beat Stanislas Wawrinka if he wants to make it

:05:28.:05:33.

through to the semifinals of the ATP World Tour finals, because he lost

:05:34.:05:37.

to Rafa Nadal. He plays his next match tomorrow.

:05:38.:05:40.

A British artist and former paratrooper has been

:05:41.:05:42.

chosen as the first ever artist in residence on Mount Everest.

:05:43.:05:45.

Derek Eeland, who has a Masters Degree in

:05:46.:05:47.

Contemporary Fine Art, will spend six weeks seventeen thousand feet up

:05:48.:05:49.

He says he wants to capture what draws people to the mountain.

:05:50.:05:54.

That's all from me, Newsround's back right here in about half an hour.

:05:55.:05:57.
