It's Saturday morning, we're live on CBBC, Ayshah

0:00:030:00:05

here with your top stories.

0:00:050:00:08

The robot searching the seas for wildlife.

0:00:080:00:13

And the Mum showing off her inner Wookie in this Star Wars mask.

0:00:130:00:23

Now to a sport competetion with a difference.

0:00:290:00:32

The Great City Games took place in Manchester last night and gave

0:00:320:00:34

viewers the chance to see top athletes from across the world

0:00:370:00:40

compete in the middle of the city, and at the purpose-built athletics

0:00:400:00:44

arena in Albert Square.

0:00:440:00:48

It is that interaction that we as athletes get with people

0:00:480:00:50

here that you don't get in a stadium.

0:00:500:00:52

That is hugely important and it could just be one youngster

0:00:520:00:55

who comes down and sees it and thinks, that is great,

0:00:550:00:58

because they are seeing it up closer and it could be an elderly person

0:00:580:01:01

who feels like they will get motivated to do some work again.

0:01:010:01:04

To one of the world's most famous actresses.

0:01:040:01:06

Angelina Jolie-Pitt is well known for starring in movies

0:01:060:01:08

like Maleficent, but she also works for the United Nations.

0:01:080:01:11

She's campaigning about the growing refugee and migrant crisis caused

0:01:110:01:13

by war in places like Syria.

0:01:130:01:17

Ricky went with some Newsround viewers, who got the chance to ask

0:01:170:01:20

Angelina about her work for the UN.

0:01:200:01:25

As we all know you have visited many refugee camps over the years,

0:01:250:01:28

can you tell us what life is like in these camps?

0:01:280:01:31

The thing that would shock you the most is now the average stay

0:01:310:01:35

in a refugee camp is about 20 years, so that means if you were born

0:01:350:01:40

in a refugee camp, your whole childhood is in the

0:01:400:01:45

camp on barred land.

0:01:450:01:47

You get your food once a month and you only get what they give you,

0:01:470:01:51

you don't get special spices or little things that make it

0:01:510:01:54

personal like when your mom cooks at home or things like that.

0:01:540:01:57

And sometimes you have school and a lot of times there

0:01:570:02:00

aren't funds for school, especially secondary,

0:02:000:02:02

so your education is very limited.

0:02:020:02:07

This robot has an important mission.

0:02:070:02:09

It's called Thomas, and its searching the seas for wildlife.

0:02:090:02:11

Scanning around Cornwall it has loads of cool cameras.

0:02:110:02:14

All the information it finds is then sent to a satellite so that

0:02:140:02:17

researchers can look at it.

0:02:170:02:24

And finally, if you're impatiently waiting for the next

0:02:240:02:26

Star Wars installment, and need something to fill

0:02:260:02:28

the gap, look no further.

0:02:280:02:33

This clip of a mum in Texas in the US trying on a Chewbacca

0:02:330:02:37

mask has gone viral.

0:02:370:02:39

More than 48 million people have watched Chewwie Candace Payne

0:02:390:02:43

getting a fit of the giggles.

0:02:430:02:52

That's all from me, Newsround's back after midday.
